got a reply from them. Here is the exact reply.

"Please note that the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology is a AQF bachelor’s degree with a Major in computing, however it is not closely related and that is the reason deduction of 4 years experience."

My nominated occupation is 263111 Computer Networks and System Engineer. It is so weird eh yung mga kilala ko na ang assessed sakanila is major in computing 2 years lang binawas... I even had a former colleague na same school at course kami.

I agree, that is so strange. I would still ask an explanation in what way it wasn’t related. Assessors make mistakes too. I had few cases with acs last year where I had to escalate to top management because I knew there was a mistake their end. Good luck

May I ask po how do you escalate to top management? Nababago po ba yung results or need mag file ng review/appeal?

I just happen to have the director’s email address through previous correspondence. Just to put things in perspective, we deal with acs all the time due to infinite cases we handle. Hence, know how who to contact and discuss/raise up assessment issues concerning clients. Yes, definitely, turned things around. We’ve never applied for appeal nor review for our clients. There was never a need to do so.

6 years ang binawas ni ACS, ano magandang gawin dito, mag file na ko ng application ng Visa kahit kulang pa ng 8 months para sa 8 years exp or Appeal ko sa ACS muna?

nag email na ko sa ACS nung December, at nag follow up na ko nito January, once a month lang sila mag reply. yung first assessment ko 5 years lang ang binawas, ngayon pangalawa assessment 6 years na ang binawas.

dahil siguro AQF associate degree which is equivalent to diploma - 10pts.

kaya iniisip ko worth it ba APPEAL nito? sa guidelines kasi nila 6 years ang deduction kapag yung work ay hindi related sa course ko, pero related naman. nag tataka lang din ako kasi yung first assessment ko 5 years lang ang deduction, ngayon second assessment naging 6 years na. baka may nag kamali lang.
