I am a newbie here and have been reading this forum for sometime. This is probably my fisrt or second post.
I need an advise and would be grateful if someone could help me.
I have lodged my Visa 176 Family sponsorship last 7 Mar 2012. Every now and then I am accessing this website from DIAC http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/estimated-allocation-times.htm and have noticed that Visa 176 Family Sponsorhip processing became stagnant these past couple of months while all Visa 176 State Sponsorship will all be processed before May 2012 ends. Also, Visa 175 kept on being updated and to date 18 Nov 2011 is being processed. I am not starting to think to change Visa application from 176 to 175 because the only difference with them now is the sponsorship.
However, if I am to analyse the data in the said website, there is a probability that Visa 176 Family Sponsored may be processed and will have a case officer this June 2012.
BTW here is my timeline:
16 Apr 2011 - IELTS (L=8.5, R=6.0, W=7.0, S-8.0) FAILED!!!
3 Aug 2011 - Lodged CDR
24 Sep 2011 - IELTS 2nd take (L=8.5, R=7.0, W=6.5, S=7.5) FAILED!!!
29 Sep 2011 - EA required to revise the CDR to a more comprehensive report
7 Oct 2011 - I have requested for IELTS remarking
17 Nov 2011 - Lodged revised CDR to EA
16 Dec 2011 - Received EA Approval Letter PASSED!!!!
16 Dec 2011 - Received IELTS remarking grades (L=8.5, R=7.0, W=7.5, S=7.5) PASSED!!!! Grrr stupid Filipino examiners

do you want to change your application from 176 to 175? if yes, my question will be, can you change if even after you have lodged it?

although you can check with your agent if baka pwde ang isang option for your to have state sponsorship instead of family sponsorship.. i mean apply a new SS and then once approved, submit ung approved SS sa DIAC sa current application mo...
just ask kung pwede..
