Hehe 2 lang naman po mangyayari sa 2 options. If sa Otis, maghihintay ka po ng ilan oras sa pila.. sa Main naman po, if may hit andun na din kayo mas convenient and wala pa 30mins tapos na po kayo. It's your call.

@LokiJr Pwede po diretso ka na lang dun.Sa OTIS po kasi di naman gaano kadami yung mga tao na kumukuha ng clearance dun Unlike sa Robinsons Galeria me number ng applicants lang sila na pwedeng i accommodate sa araw na yun. Kaya need mo po na 5am pa lang e pumila na dun. Di katulad sa Otis kahit halfday kaya na basta maaga ka pumunta.

I think i can give suggestions based on what i had experienced since i am not in the Philippines. There are two ways actually, (1) If the applicant has the old NBI Clearance, then just send the said document along with authorization letter to any of ur relatives in the Philippines and he/she can apply for ur NBI Clearance. (2) Approach the Philippine Embassy and/or Consulate for the NBI form and finger rolling OR ask any of your relatives to go to NBI Taft and ask for the form.The representative should send u the original form for u to fill up the necessary info and send it back to him/her. After 7 working days, makukuha na result. That's what i did kc nga nawala ng walangjong FEDEX ung old NBI clearance ko at walang embassy dito. Cheers.

I have another question: may deadline po ba ang pagsubmit ng Police Clearance/NBI after sabihin ng CO na you should provide these documents na?

I lived in three different countries (for more than 12months), so required ko kmuha lahat ng clearance for these countries.. my concern is how to get these three clearances within that period, kung meron mang deadline..

Nagpost yung kaklase ko sa chat window kanina. Yung NBI nya kasi ay "No Criminal Record". Pero nung kumuha sya dati ng NBI tapos kumuha sya ng explanation, ang nakalagay ay wala naman daw case na na-file sa kanya as in clean record naman.
May kaso po ba ito kung mag apply sya sa Australia? Sabi ko din sa kanya mag post or gawa ng account dito para mas madali buhay ko hahahaha.

"No Criminal Record" means walang hit yung name niya and he's good to go.

Okay lang pero baka mag-expire na wala ka pa CO... or pwede naman may CO ka na tapos matagalan yun medical mo and sobra mapaaga yun IED mo. Possibility na masyado dikit ang visa grant date saka initial entry date.

6 months lang po pals ang effectivity date ng NBI for Travel Abroad..

One year po ang validity. We just got the print out of our NBI clearance this afternoon.

Ok yung online appointment facility nila. I highly recommend it especially if malapit or kaya nyo naman pumunta sa main office nila sa UN Avenue, Taft. Currently kasi dun pa lang meron nun online facility. Ok din na dito kumuha ng NBI clearance if sa St. Luke's Extension Clinic (Bocobo, Ermita) kayo papamedical kasi walking distance lang to NBI office. Kaya ginawa namin morning yung medical namin then afternoon sa NBI naman.

Ang bilis namin natapos sa NBI last Thursday, 4pm yung booked appointment namin. We arrived there mga 3:40pm pero exactly 4pm tapos na kami. The hassle is hindi agad namin nakuha yung printout. We had to go back after 3 working days pa which is today. I just authorized my husband to claim it on my behalf since mas malapit office nya dun. Nun nagpunta sya this afternoon, dumiretso sya sa Releasing Section kasi yun ang nakalagay dun sa receipt namin. Pero sinabi sa kanya nung teller na sa Quality Control (QC) daw muna kasi may hit pareho name namin. He went through a short interview and pina-sign sya ng Affidavit of Denial or yung sworn statement na hindi siya yung may criminal record. I was required to do the same kaya sinabi nung NBI officer kay hubby na kelangan ko daw ng personal appearance kaya tinawagan nya ko na kelangan ko daw pumunta bukas. Anyway, after sa QC, sa Releasing Section na ulit siya pinapunta but this time, hubby approached a different teller and pareho nya naiabot yung receipt namin. Naprint yung NBI nya and what's weird is na-print na din yung sakin and it says "no record on file". Kaya at this moment, I'm thinking if I still need to make a personal appearance to sign the Affidavit of Denial.

Anyway, if you will opt for the online appointment, simply follow the instruction here: http://www.nbi.gov.ph/online_application.html. Tips ko:

1. Pag nagbayad kayo through Globe Payment Center, keep the receipt. Hindi yun nakalagay dun sa instruction pero hiningi nila samin. Buti na lang dala ko yun. If GCash naman ang payment, do not delete the SMS acknowledgment baka yun naman ang hingin nila.
2. Pa-book kayo ng mid to end of the week na and late afternoon na. Wala na masyadong mga applicants, nag-uwian na din mga NBI officers. Haha! Joke lang.

I suggest mag e-clearance na rin kayo pagkukuha kayo ng NBI clearance nyo... lalagpasan nyo lahat ng nakapila sa baba, deretso 4th floor tapos in a few minutes uuwi na agad kayo, pag wala kayong hit pede pa kayo dumiretso agad sa releasing at makukuha nyo na ang clearance nyo...

sa Friday ko pa makukuha yung samen, authorization letter na lang dadalhin ko kay misis para ako na lang mag-leave...

sana magawa ko yung ginawa ng hubby ni JClem if ever may hit kami, mahirap kasi mag-absent ang misis ko e, katakot takot na paliwanag pa hehehehe...

VIII. NBI Form No. 5

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance is applied for personally and obtained in the Philippines at:

The National Bureau of Investigation
(Identification and Records Division)

However, for those outside the Philippines, the NBI Form No. 5 containing the description of the applicant, must be accomplished at the Philippine Embassy.

Step 1: Get your queuing number from the doorman before entering the Consular Section.

Step 2: When your number appears on the board or your number is called out, proceed to Counter B to get an NBI Form No. 5.

Step 3: Fill up the NBI Form properly. Avoid erasures.

Step 4: Affix a passport-size picture with white background.

Step 5: Proceed to the Abu Dhabi Immigration Office (Near St. Joseph Church, Al
Saada St.) and purchase E-Dirham (50 AED).

Step 6:Go to the CID-Ministry of Interior, near the Grand Mosque for finger printing.

Step 7: Present the E-Dirham as payment for the finger printing.

Step 8: Go back to the Embassy and get your queuing number from the doorman before entering the Consular Section. When your number appears on the board or your number is called out, submit at Counter B your accomplished NBI form and provide a photocopy (back-to-back) and a copy of passport.

Step 9: Proceed to the cashier to pay 100 AED notary fee.

Step 10:The NBI form will be released in three (3) working days.

Step 11:To claim your NBI Form No. 5, get your queuing number from the doorman before entering the Consular Section. When your number appears on the board or your number is called out, present your claim stub and claim your certified NBI Form No. 5

Step 12: Send the certified NBI Form No. 5 to the National Bureau of Investigation (Identification and Records Division) in the Philippines by mail or through your authorized representative in the Philippines, who can submit the application, and collect the NBI clearance. A separate fee is charged by the NBI for the NBI clearance.
