walang exact na amount sa financial declaration.. i think you just need to justify na kaya mo/niyo maka survive sa state upon arrival kahit wala pang work.. at least 6 months without work.. no bank statements needed pero minsan nagrarandom check sila sa declaration kaya be ready na din just in case.

@goodminton waiting time for vic nomination is up to 12 weeks po. I got invited on my 8th week. Some waited longer. Wala talagang trend kung kailan sila mag send nang invitation

Hi to all. I've been lurking here for a while as I've been weighing which visa would suit better. I am a Civil Engineer with over 8 years exp. Do you guys have any comment as to which type of visa is easier to apply for in my case? I'm choosing between 189, 190, and recently na-add ung 489 sa choices so medyo naguguluhan ako. Need your inputs regarding this guys. Thank you very much.

Also, based on the points calculator, i can get 65+5 points. Do you guys think I have a good chance? I've read that 55+5 points may not even be enough depending so I asked na rin. Thank you guys.

@jedd_allen 55+5 ako when i submitted. tas ng claim ako 1 year AusRN exp so naging 60+5, 8 weeks wait time ko. this was oct 2017. then got my grant in 35 days

@kymme Thanks for the input. Been learning a lot thru this forum. From what i have observed, getting invited to apply for a visa isn't that hard pala. The real challenge is job hunting once we get there. Any thoughts on this guys?

@jedd_allen its not that hard if you know which PR visa subclass suits you. just read and research, yan gawa ko kahit may migration agent ako. ni layout ko lahat ng possible pathways ko. for state sponsorship, di lahat ng skill ksali sa list ng per state so check your target state’s skills list if kasali ang skill mo

@orchyd mej matagal na yun sayo. average 12 weeks lng. 55+5 ako then claimed extra 5 points for 1 year AusRN exp. so 60+5. invited in 8 weeks. may kakilala ako 65+5, 4 weeks lng invited na last month lang. u can try calling liveinmelbourne or email them to follow up kasi lagpas na sa average wait times. have you received any acknowledgment email?

@orchyd sa skills select ka lang ba nag apply? kasi you have to apply for the state nomination mismo sa liveinmelbourne. skillselect and liveinmelbourne. once mg ok si melbourne, means positive nomination, automatic mg email din si skill select ng invitation to apply for PR.

@orchyd for ICT, it should be via skillselect only.
Then they will email u thru skillselect for the pre invite. This is what i did for ANZCO 261311. For the rest it should be via live in Victoria website.

Nagsubmit po ako ng EOI sa skillselect fro VIC 190 with 70+5 pts last Feb 17 kaso until now wala pa rin invite. Dapat po ba akong magemail sa liveinmelbourne na website to get a pre-invite from them?

Guys, hopefully you can help me with my question. For Victoria SS, there is a question about whether I have relatives in Australia and whom I have contact with. I have one relative, first degree Cousin, but we’re not closed and our contact is thru FB only and I don’t know which state/region they’re in. Can I say no for this question? Thanks
