Hello po, yung IELTS requirement is depende rin sa Nominated Occupation mo... may certain occupations din na hindi lang OBS ang tinitingnan kundi pati yung score mo in each band.

nakabook na ako sa IDP - August 16. Sino po ang same exam date?
magandang reviewer yung Ace the IELTS. Para sa listening po, mahirap ba talaga yung accent? Anong pwedeng gawing practice?

@chichan maraming online listening tests na for free lang, best thing is to sit on practice tests. during the exam, diba merong time dun per section to read the questions and choices, tapos sulat ka ng mga keywords; minsan kase yung first sinasabi ng dialog/speaker tapos andun sa choices, ay binabago niya in the end, parang trick lng, so sulat ka lng ng sulat ng keywords so that malaman mo kung ano yung final answer. make sure ma trace mo yung idea/thoughts ng conversation keywords. goodluck!

As expected I'm not confident sa speaking.

Speaking: 6.0
Writing: 7.0
Reading: 7.0
Listening: 6.5

I'm not sure why 6.5 yun listening, I know I'm that confident na mga 95% correct ako. ;(

Retake na itetch.

Any suggestion guys sa speaking alam kong ito ang weakness ko talaga...

@cnel_26 hi! from wha i know through skillselect din, regardless of State yung ielts, basta the points system would only apply for 7 all (10 points) and 8 all (20 points)... ;-)

hi lexxus. see the writing samples and tips in ieltsbuddy.com. first thing that you should learn is how to identify what type of essay is given. writing your thoughts about the topic and how you will organize them becomes easy when you know the type

@BeBBang wow congrats! buti ka pa tpos na sa IELTS. Kinulang ako sa time sa writing. less than 250 words ako sa task 2. Practice ako ng mabilisang writing. papabook na ulet ako for july19 exam.

@ chichan, go over all the sample tests in youtube especially those labelled cambridge. ielts-exam.net and ieltsbuddy.com will be helpful, too. the accent becomes difficult to understand when the rate of speech is fast but if you have done a lot of practice, then no worries for the multiple choice type, you don't only need to find the keywords. you should know their synonyms because what is in the recording may not be that same words you have in the texts.

@bait0211 Retake na lang sis, sa 2nd take kaya na yan! Ok pa rin kasi magagamit mo pa rin sa EA ang IELTS mo.

@cnel_26 hi cnel! di nila tinitingnan yung overall eh, yung 4 tests dapat 7-Up yung score... if merong isa na less than 7, hindi pa rin maka 10 points yun. Goodluck Godbless! ;-)

@lexxus usually yung simplicity lang ng essay; syempre you need to put complex words there to show your vocabulary, pero you need to stick to the structure, intro, body, conclusion. yung intro, rephrase mo lang yung question or essay topic in the best way you can but put it simpy. sa body if asked for ideas or stand, gawin mo point per point, maybe 2 disadvantages muna then 2 advantages for example, then sa conclusion, one sentence lang to reason out your stand and one sentence supporting, tapos one sentence summary, e rephrase mo ulit yung intro... that's one easy way of looking at it para medjo schematic... goodluck! @bait0211 hi! ;-) you can check out adultenglish youtube entries, ito yung pause and play youtube ielts practice tests, sobrang comprehensive ng sample questions niya, what i did was to load the videos, tas listen to his questions as if real time, then i pause to answer, and i video myself the whole time, and i review how quick or how i answer his questions, no cheating dapat, so wag mo panoorin ang vids niya before answering and recording yourself..hehe, also i have some helpful enumerated tips for speaking... goodluck! @bait0211 e search mo lang adultsenglish ielts speaking, parang nasa 70+ yung practice sessions niya... also sa first part kase ng speaking, all about self, hobbies, interests, etc, so familiar ka na dito, sa speech din or sa second part, di nmn necessary na may structure talaga yung speech mo what matters most is how you speak up given the 2 minutes and of course to answer or cover all pointers / items na nasa task card, tapos sa 3rd part yung follow up questions na, you can always buy time by rephrasing the questions, asking clarifications, and saying things like...hmmm, that's a rather difficult question, can you give me more time to think about it first... or pwede ring wow i have never really thought of that before, mga ganun, delaying tactics, hehehe. before speaking don't drink too much liquid kase naiihi ka nkkdagdag ng tension and pressure, just sit comfortably, tas deep breathing ka the whole time na naghihintay ka for your turn... kaya mo yan, tiwala lang kapatid!!! 9er na yan! hehe ;-)

Question about Reading answer sheet, trying to make sure lang na wala magiging problem sa situation enumerated below.
1. Strict ba sa capitalization ng answers?
2. Strict ba sa penmanship like letter a na naglo-look like letter o dahil mashort ung buntot? or letter h na sometimes mejo nagiging n?
