Hi, this is my first time here. After some research, I already have a general idea on the different steps involved on the immigration process. I think the most appropriate visa for me is 189 visa. I dont know anybody in Aussie who can sponsor me. So I'll go for skilled-indpenedent visa. Tama ba na pwede din mag submit ng EOI for more than 1 visa like 186 (ENS) and 187 (RSMS)? Medyo naguguluhan pako dito, gusto ko muna mag concentrate sa 189 visa heheh.. Wala bang show money or proof of asset required ang 189 visa? I have dependents...parents lang kase single pko...pero hindi sila sasama sa akn sa Aussie (if ever ma approve ako). May brother din ako na more than 18yrs old pero hindi ko dependents, interested din sya to work in Aussie pero not in the near future, kakastart pa lang nya kase mag work. nag ggain pa sya ng work experience. My question is... sarili ko lang ba ang kasama sa lahat ng papers including medical,etc. tama ba? Thanks a lot.

@loudandclear - welcome to the forum..you are on the right track..

1. Visa 189 is independent. Another type of visa is Visa 190 (SS), depending on your Skills and/or your totaal points, you might be required to apply for State Sponsorship (Visa 190).. so hanap ka ng state na in-demand ang skills mo. You don't need someone from AU to get nominated.. you just have to satisfy the criteria of the state.. may separate thread about this.

2. Yes, you can submit one EOI, and then select other visa options na gusto mo.. kung alin ang mauna mag invite, you can decide to accept or decline.

3. For Visa 189 (independent), walang required na proof of asset/money.. sa Visa 190(SS), some states will ask info about how will you bring money to support you initially, pero sabi ng mga nandito, ung iba hindi nmn nagrequire ng actuall proof, kumbaga part lang sya ng application process to answer those financial declaration questions..

4. If you are single, and they are not migrating with you, yes, sarili mo lang ang kailangan ng mga documents...they will not be required to provide docs, police clearance/medical. You should put them in the "OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS", medyo nakakalito ang part ng application na ito kaya be careful. DO NOT put them in the "MIGRATING Dependents" or "NON-MIGRATING Dependents".

i'm still confused about the visa 190 (SS), what's the difference on visa 187 (RSMS)? also, yun bang visa 186, 187 and 190...walang visa fee? i read visa 189 fee is 3,060 USD. i think i need to read more on these visa types. one of my main concerns is getting employed the soonest as soon as the visa is granted. i'm looking at seek.com.au website to see if there's demand for my skills. what other website/jobsite could you recommend? gusto ko sana sa melbourne. . in demand ba IT sa melbourne? thanks.

- there are two main visa groups a) Skilled b) Employer Sponsored

a) Skilled -para sa mga skilled worker, you can apply on your own, sympre ikaw magbabayad
- visa 189 - independent
- visa 190 - with state sponsorship (either kulang ang points or dahil CSOL sched 2 ang skill)
- visa 489 - regional/family sponsored, this is a temporary visa


b) Employer Sponsored
- visa 475, 186,187 -employer will process your papers, sympre sila magbabayad
- kung super indemand ang skill mo, at makahanap ka ng employer na willing mag sponsor, then ito ung visa
- some of these visas are temporary, but you can apply for PR after satisfying some criteria..

can anyone help me?? i been here for 3 months but naging masaklap yung mga nagnyari sakin dito.. after 3 months dumating s apoint na i need to run away from ym partner which is d pa ako married. kasama ko with my yugn anak ko. so at this time nasa friend place ako nakikituloy sa ngayun. and for sure yung visa ko mawawala. d na matutuloy. so ginawa ko nag enrol ako ng ng age care for 2 months at sana maka pagwork after sa school ko dito .may chance ba na pwd ako mag apply as working visa just incase dina ako pwd pa magtagal dito?? pwd ba ako sa workign visa? or can any one help me kugn panu manatili dito? may mga company ba ditong ready to sponsor you? to stay and work? pls answer me as dont know what to do. masyadong magulo buhay ko sa ngayun.

depende po sa type ng visa nyo..
may mga visa na priority processing.. so mas mabilis mag assign ng CO..
normally pwede magpamedical before magka-CO, you need your health ID and TRN, but you should know that the medical exam date has an effect on your Initial Entry Deadline..

@gerleen_agus just want to share my experience. in my case, I got an email acknowledgement immediately after payment. Then from there, my application changed to In Process and at the same time lumabas na yung Next Steps which includes:
1. document upload and
2. organization of health requirements.

So pwede mo na gawin medicals even if wala pa CO assigned. As long as may TRN ka na naa-access ng clinic, pwede na po pa-medical.

@abc27 yun nga eh wala pa po akong natanggap na email acknowledgement. Na-lodge at nagbayad ako last December 31, 2012. Baka matagal lang siguro ngayon kasi madami???

yes.. you will need to have an EOI first.. Expression of Interest..
once you got an invitation, that's the only time you can apply for visa..
once you lodged the visa, CO will ask you to complete the PCCs and Medical exams..
if no more additional requirements are requested by the CO,
then you will wait for the decision..

No, you can still be denied... As long you don't have the grant letter, it can still be a yes or a no.

Hi po, bago lang po kami dito sa forum.
We just received a favorable response last Jan 9 from Engineers Australia.
Pero hindi pa kami nag EOI. We have several questions po and sana po matulungan nyo kami.

1. Advisable po ba na wag muna mag EOI at icomplete muna ang mga documents?
2. Ung Bank Statement, hard requirement po ba talaga sya? Para san po ba ito? And if 3 companies yung pinasukan before, three bank statements yung need i secure?
3. Payslip: How many per year po ang need isubmit?
4. Dependent: Good na po ba yung Diploma as a proof of functional english? pano po mapprove na English yung medium of instruction? Need pa po ba yun?
5. Evidence of Relationship: If married naman na po, hindi po ba marriage certificate lang ang need as proof of relationship? Medyo naguguluhan po ako dito. (http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/bringing-secondary-app.htm)
- Meron pa kasi nakalagay na dapat Evidence of the history of your relationship and Evidence of a genuine and continuing relationship . Ano po need to prove ito?

Hi, I'll try to answer some of your questions.

1. Hindi ko naabutan yun EOI, pero advice ko i-ready mo na yun mga documents and certified true copies para mas madali, kasi you'll never know if baka matagalan yun iba dahil meron problems.

2. Hindi kami nag-submit ng bank statements, for proof of employment COE lang and detailed employment certificate detailing your duties and responsibilities.

3. Payslip unless tingin mo hindi sufficient yun documents mo to prove your employment, hindi na ito kailangan. Kasi sa COE nakalagay naman salary mo. And nakapasa ka na naman sa assessment with Engineers Australia.

4. Sa dependent, kailangan nyo po kumuha ng tinatawag na "CERTIFICATE OF ENGLISH AS MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION" from your dependent's university / college. Most schools alam ito, yun wife ko sa PUP meron na talaga sila form para dito and meron small fee.

5. Marriage certificate lang po ang kailangan dito. Yun evidence of the history ng relationship ay para lang sa couple na hindi pa kasal, at gusto nila isama yun partner sa application.

Thank you po for the answers above @Bryann Icomplete po muna namin ang mga documents. Kuha kami ng updated COE. 2 kinds of COE po ba ang pinasa nyo?
1. Standard COE with Salary
2. Customized COE with duties and responsibilities

Saka po pala, ako po kasi yung isasama ng husband ko. Sa pag fill up po ng form, san ako ilalagay? Sa Dependent po or sa Secondary Applicant? Pero wala naman po additional points needed sakin.

Anung form po yan? Hindi ko na kasi masyado maalala. Ang naaalala ko lang yun parents, siblings dun sa other family members not migrating with you. Huwag nyo sila ilagay under dependent kasi baka hingan pa documents. Ikaw po kasi is considered dependent, at the same time secondary applicants din po. Pa-clarify na lang po ha, Hehe. Thanks.

Yung mga parents and siblings po namin na HINDI sasama sa pag migrate sa Australia - dun po ilalagay sa Other Family Members Not Migrating? Tama po ba? Nabasa ko lang po dito sa thread eh. medyo naguguluhan lang po ako

Migrating Dependents - if you have kids

Non Migrating Dependents - leave it blank..normally pwede gamitin kung merong anak na hindi isasama.. or kung ang parents nyo ay dependent sa inyo, pero hindi sya mag-migrate..

Other Family Members - mga kapatid nyo po, at alam ko po ay pati parents..
