REDRED PerthPosts: 391Member
I am currently in a long distance relationship and I want to know if a marriage license would be a good proof to be in a de facto relationship? Thanks.

i don't have any australian visa yet and I'm about to lodge an EOI but I'm not sure if the marriage license would be good enough to include her in my application. We are not married yet and will be this coming december.

Hi. may kaibigan ako na same case sayu.

But yeah you can use the license as proof.

yep, Japan at Cayman. Tinanggap ang proofs nila. Proof ng payment sa weddings is tingin ko pwede like booking ng venue, food, photovideo, lahat yan may contract na merng pangalan nyo, enough proof na may magaganap na wedding sa December. maglodge ka muna ng Eoi then wait for invitation, kakain din yan ng time. pag Visa lodgement pa naman hihingi ng proof of defacto.

    Hi @netzkeenet,

    Cheers..

@netzkeenet matatanggal sya sa visa application, but main applicant will proceed. in my case, since we were not confident of our de facto status (back then), we decided to include her as a non-migrating dependent so we did not pay the visa fee. when the decision was made, the visa was still approved but did not include her. kung nasama sya, sayang ang Php75K.

hi @dapogi . sorry medyo confused lang ako. does it mean na at first kasama yung future bride mo that time then hindi siya naaccept as de facto? kaya di nalang siya kinonsider sa application? then ngayon kasal na kayo mag partner visa nalang?

sorry dami din tanong kasi parang medyo same case tayo. parang gusto din namin magrisk itry yung defacto.

hi @RED. yes on your first question, but as non-migrating dependent (kaya walang bayad). yes din on your 2nd and 3rd questions. :D feeling ko lang, based sa questions na binato ng CO, ang pinaka relevant na evidences are: 1. joint ownership of assets/liabilities like bank accounts; and 2. evidence that you are living together. wala kami nung number 1 kaya siguro di na approve.

what im not sure is, if na approve sya as non-migrating dependent, anong visa path yung dadaanan nya. though ive read somewhere na if later mag apply sya, mas madali na yung process.

go go lang sa questions. utang ko din sa forum na to yung lahat ng kasagutan sa mga tanong ko dati. :D

@jenipet20 @RED hi guys, im speaking based on my experience and my case may be different to yours. also, baka iba-iba rin yung decision based on COs. im pretty sure meron dito na nag apply na de facto na na approve. but just to share, eto yung mga documents na sinubmit namin:
    1. Testimonials from friends as well as personal testimonial on how our relationship "evolved"
    2. Billing statements showing the same address
    3. Pictures (a lot of them)
    4. Birthday cards and love letters
    5. Plane Tickets of our travels together
    6. Deposit slips with reference to our account numbers
