Hi, new here, currently in the processing of gathering new certificates from my previous employers.

Question, I'm providing the job descriptions to them, do you guys basically use the description from the ANZSCO code (just rewording). Or do you use your own bullets, and wordings that is specific to the job?

Reason I'm asking is because the job description for Developer Programmer is quite general and is quite difficult to come up with different details for each employer.

hi, it should match at least some of the JD in anz if not all, just reword it and match it to your jd....

Mas dito po mag fall yung case nyo. Sa tingin ko po mas okey itong RPL route sa inyo.

@heyits7me_mags TOR nmn meron ako Sir. pero Im just not sure if they will honor just that...RPL po is also applicable for TRA assessment? Kc nung chineck ko ung application form, nakalagay dun na how many years of general education did you complete? So I'm thinking that it may be accepted somehow. But I'll check this RPL route you're suggesting...Thanks a lot for the help and inputs...

Thanks @Xiaomau82, I got my assessment result today and you were right, they deducted 6 years worth of work experience and counted from the time I started of working. so that leaves with 40pts. , At least next step na ako. hehe need ko nlng po makakuha ng 8 sa IELTS.. This thread helped me a lot. Thanks guys..

@aanover your degree will be comparable to AQF Diploma and 5 or 6 yrs of work exp is required completed within 10 yrs or anytime im the past. So kun prior graduation or overlapping ng graduation un work experience mo e ok lang. So if u started working in May 2006, u will have a total of 8 years work exp by May 2014. So depende kun 5 or 6 yrs ang ideduct sa yo then u can claim 5points or 0.

@aanover Sayang walang software engr sa SA mejo mabilis kasi processing nila ngyn 3.5 weeks lang. Pero you can also consider SC489 tas min. 7 each band sa IELTS, back up lang just incase. Pero depende kung may state na open, as far as i know walang state na available sa ngyn.

@Xiaomau82, Yun nga din, was eyeing on SA pa naman.. question po, what if, for some strange reason eh makakuha po ako ng 8 on my IELTs exam(hehe wala lang po talagang bilib sa sarili), that'll leave me with 60pts. Would that mean I am eligible na to apply sa SA? or I will have to wait for the 1st of July when the ceiling for each occupation resets back? Sana lang come July 1st meron na ulit slots for my nominated occupation.

Kelangan po asa State migration plan list ung occupation mo before k makapag apply. So sa ngayon wala sia sa SA so kahit 60 points ka or 70 indi pa din pwede. Kaya nio yang IELTS, make sure lang na magpractice at sobrang nakaconcentrate ka during the test. Indi sia madali pero doable namn. May ilan din dito sa forum naka 9 pa nga. try to check ung thread about IELTS mkakuha ka din ng tips.

Strange talaga ang acs minsan at syempre depende pa rin how considerate ung case officer pero based sa CEP kapag sec 3 ang school mo at 4 yr course ka, equivalent un sa AQF Diploma.

Hello! Ask ko lang kung may similar case dito tulad sakin. Kasi I'm currently based in HK and nagpag-certified true copy ako ng passport. Ang requirement ng Philippine Consulate dito is i-photocopy yung pinaka first page ng passport, then yung passport data page, then lastly yung pinaka last page ng passport.

So after ko pina certify sa kanila, ang nakuha ko ay yung first page may seal at stamp na "Original Seen" then naka clip (stample pero nde stapler gamit, parang circular metal clip) together yung succeeding pages na passport data page at yung last page ng passport.

Ang problema is yung first page lng ang may stamp then yung data page ng passport ko at ung last page wlang stamp, may dry seal lng pero ewan ko kung kta pag na-scan.

I-acccept ba yung ng ACS, let say include ko lahat ng pages with the first page na may stamp?

Second question, Kasi yung nag pa-notarized naman ako ng documents sa Pilipinas, ang ginamit ko yung old passport ko, so yung sa stamp ng notary nakalagay na identification no. ko yung old passport no. Ngayon, nakapagrenew nako ng bago passport, so kailangan ba parehas na passport ang issubmit ko sa ACS for verification?

BTW, magssubmit pa lang ako ng application sa ACS.

Last question, meron na ba sa inyo nag submit ng Birth Certificate instead of passport, kasi sa guidelines, pwde either Passport OR Birth Certificate?

Lang ang claim Sa point system ng Diploma at Advance Diploma nagkaiba Lang yan sa level sa AQF dahil mgkasunod Lang cla. @avp, Plano nmin i-submit online Sa ACS birth certificate n lng Ni hubby pra less complicated kc by nxt yir expired n rin lahat Ng passports nmin sabay sabay kc kmi kumuha kasama ng mga kids. Nkalagay nman doon Sa requirements birth certificate or passport pra Lang Hindi magkaiba ang passport number Sa ACS at Sa passport renewal nmin kung mag EOI at visa apps. na kmi kung ask Ng ACS Yung passport Ni hubby now na nag online skill assessment kmi hingi n lng ulit kmi Ng print out Ng result Ng skills assessment then i-send online na lng din Yung renewed passport number pra yum i-print ng ACS.

Pero I guess susundin ko nalang suggestion ni @Little Finger kasi yung identification no. na nilagay dun sa mga certified true copies ko ay yung old passport no., and since nakuha ko na yung new passport, invalid na yung old passport ko kasi may butas na. So to be safe, include ko nalang both passport, pero ang iinput ko sa Online Application yung new passport na.

@annover sir, may impact rin po pala Yung section Ng school over Sa educational qualification although 5yrs. ICT Bachelor degree kau Parang IELTS rounded down to the lowest digit Hindi to the highest. Don't wori po sir, i am just learning po.

Mga ka berks tanong naman ano ung Attachment type na "CV" sa ACS online application? Parang resume lang ba yun na pwede din ako mag upload kung mapa notaryo ko? Does it really matter or ok lang kahit Passport and Birth Certificate lang?
