Mga ka berks tanong naman ano ung Attachment type na "CV" sa ACS online application? Parang resume lang ba yun na pwede din ako mag upload kung mapa notaryo ko? Does it really matter or ok lang kahit Passport and Birth Certificate lang?

@Xiaomau82, meron pa palang resume? pero dba ang requirements Lang nman n nkalagay Sa online assessment ay birth certificate or passport, COE, transcript at school certificate? bka magulat kmi pag nag upload kmi next wik hingin Yung resume Hindi nkapag print c hubby. thanks!

@heyits7me_mags, when i submitted mine last march, wala po akong resume na sinubmit... I think this one is optional though im not sure if it'll have bearing sa assessment ni ACS.

@annover sis, parang nakakaamoy ako Ng discrimination Sa school ang ACS pero wala nman tayong magagawa dba @familiaC. Basta i-pray nyo n Lang na pag Hindi ntin makuha Yung desired points Sa work at educ. mabawi ntin Sa ibang points important mabuo natin Yung 60pts. Tsaka tingin ko timing din Yan kya Yung mga mag EOI Ng July 1 na 60pts. kahit 60 Lang Yan may chance na ma invite Kasi nsa 0 pa Ang laman Ng sisidlan, meaning magpupuno pa cla for next fiscal year. Kaya go, go, go na Sana maka timing din kmi. Mga sis at bro ipag pray din natin ang Oz dream ntin [-O<

@familiaC, That I am not sure, meron na kaya ditong ng pa-assess from a Section 3 school na nakakuha ng Bachelor's Degree assessment?

@heyits7me_mags, yes, wala naman tayong magagawa.. Pero God is good, kasi kahit section 3 ako eh positive assessment pa din.. pag di ako nakaabot ng 60 points this year, baka mag-antay nlng ako next year, at least makakakuha na ako ng points sa work experience ko 6yrs out of my 8 years kasi tinaggal ni ACS. At least by next year school age na yung pangganay ko, I am planning to move with my two kids kasi (without their father) so sana di din ito maging reason ni immi to deny me a grant if ever

@aanover @heyits7me_mags yes mga sis, we just pray for the best and God's guidance in our application. sana nga wag naman sila magbase sa school alone kundi dun din sa units/subjects nung course.

uung bullet number 3 sa "skills application tab" ang i tick mo. then sa "personal details tab" mo i attach ung birth cert at passport . wala akong ni attach na CV. wala din naka indicate na kelangan ang cv. mag attach ka uli dun sa "relevant qualification" ng ipassess mo na education or cert. then ung mga coe mo dun sa relevant experience.

@annover sis, gandah! nman dapat ganyan ang attitude Sa pag apply laging positive. Oo tama meron pa rin dapat ipagpasalamat Sa Diyos ksi favorable nman ang result ng skills assessment tsaka good for 2yrs. nman so pwede ka next yir magpa reassessment next yir kung umabot ka nman ng 60pts. pwede rin mag apply ng EOI dis yir depende Sa option mo. Kmi nga eh 2011 pa kmi dito Sa forum Kasi madaling madisappoint si hubby take 2 Lang IELTS ayaw na noong ituloy ang Oz dream nmin Hindi nya mkuha Yung desired IELTS OBS nmin. Oo nga @familiaC God is good who knows someday Sa Oz tayo magkita kits. Cheers po sa ating lahat.

I'm preparing my docs for ACS SA, just like to check with you guys, I'll be using this detailed job description for my certificate of employment, it is the same as the description for Developer Programmer, just some minor rewording.

• Responsible on analyzing, researching, consulting, and evaluating business requirements.
• testing, debugging, diagnosing, and providing fixes for application bugs in Microsoft ASP.NET C#, within quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification
• researching, consulting, analyzing and evaluating system program needs
• writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards
• writing, updating and maintaining legacy software applications

Should I go with this? Or is a more detailed job description preferable like the same level of detail that we usually put in our resume? Thank you in advance.

@jepricito sulat mo yung actual na roles and responsibilities mo sa work at the same time
make sure na malapit at nakalinya siya dun sa details under sa anzco code na napili mo. wag mo kopyahin verbatim kung ano nakalagay sa description for that code.

Question, yun ANZSCO code ba ACS magdedetermine or ikaw pipili befor submitting? Yun job description kasi nun mga developer/programmer very similar eh. Not sure kung alin dun ako pwede.

@ios_dev ikaw ang magdedecide kung anong anzco code ang angkop at pinakamalapit sa work experience mo. isang anzco code lang ang pwede ipassess for each acs assessment. pero pwede mag pa assess sa another anzco code after matapos at finalized ang previous assessment.

@annover sis, 2 state Lang ang meron akong nakitang Analyst Programmer, yung sa Melbourne, Vic at Sydney state sponsorship kaso bka pag okey na ang IELTS nmin mag closed na rin yung sa VIC kya bka abutan nmin Sydney. Late n Kasi nag o-open ang Vic sponsorship. Pandagdag 5pts. Lang nman yung sa state sponsorship basta may 60pts. na at July or August pwede pa cguro i-apply Ng 189. Pero kung Hindi 190 pag lumagpas Ng July at August. Meron din sa Tasmania kso bihira nman dun, maliit na state lang at tawid dagat pa. Kung Hindi Victoria, sa Sydney kmi. Dami pa nating pagdadaanan, hehehe. Meron pang visa, medical, airfare at budget habang Hindi pa nkakahanap c hubby pagdating doon. Pray, pray muna.

@familiaC sis, sagutin kita based sa experience namin. Sec 3 si hubby and sad to say, AQF diploma lang ang bingay ng ACS. Wala pa akong nakita dito sa site na nabigyan ng Bachelor's Degree na under Sec 3 school. So bawi nalang sa IELTS ang drama namin ngayon

@ios_dev sir, dagdag kpo 2011 noon nagpa assess kmi first time ANZCO code nominated nmin 261111 business analyst pero si ACS CO nmin nag email mas fit raw yung JD ni hubby sa analyst programmer. Kaya um-okey na lang kmi sa suggestion ni CO. Thank u, @buchock our choices should be if were late for filing of EOI in July or August we should go state sponsorship could be NSW or Vic if we get right July, August or Sept. and we have 60pts. by that time we will choose 189. We'll see anything can happen.

@mikeloieuy hubby ko tester din pero software engineer nominated occupation nya. kaya yun pinili namen since broad naman job description ng software engineer eh and pwede pa visa 189. it depends padin yan sa jd mo eh kung pasok. tsaka try mo sa vic if visa 190 ang route nyo kc mas mdami opportunity dun for tester kesa SA. may istqb dn c hubby. lam ko recognized yan na certification. rule yung magbawas ng experience. umm yung school i think nagmamatter as well as ur course.if related sa nominated occupation mo

@mileloieuy: Hi! Software tester nominated occupation ko. I received my assessment 2 weeks ago.

1. Hindi recognize yung ISQTB. Though pede mo cia ipasa naman.
2. In my case, 4 years binawas nila. My ECE course is assessed as Bachelor major in Computing though. I was expecting nga sana na 2 years lang ibawas nila
3. My school is in Section 2. I guess eto rin ang dahila bakit 4 years ang binawas. Yung mga section 1 school
Lang yata ang may just 2 years deduction.

Kakasubmit ko lang ang application ko sa ACS this week. Tanong ko lang baka meron sa inyo same case sakin. Section 3 yung school ko, pero yung course ko ComSci talaga, 4 years yun at yung ANZCO code na pinapa-assess ko is 261312 - Developer Programmer so 100% inline talaga dun.

Ang tanong ko, ilang years kaya ibabawas kung Section 3 yung school mo considering inline lahat ung course at work experiences mo?
