Kaya niyo yan ser! Or, mag 190 kayo (+5) at partner skills (+5), para may plan B kayo in case hindi niyo makuha yung 20 sa IELTS. Pero kaya yan. Sana kayanin din namin

naisip ko rin yun 190.. pero +5 points won't really help if 10 pts lang sa IELTS. That would be 15pts total lang.. kapos parin ako nang 5 points.

Another option is try a different ANZSCO code (261312 Developer Programmer) baka maiba ang outcome(?). Which I doubt.

Or mag hintay nang 1 year para makakuha nang 5 years exp. That would give me 10 points instead of 5 points. Kasi 4 years exp lang natira sa akin ngayon. *sigh*

@ios_dev - gsto ka pa review acs mag add ako ng 1.5 yrs sa work exp, di ko napa assess wla kse ko hawak na coe nung 1st acs assessment. Pra maka claim 10 points.

I see, ako try ko na lang maka line of 8 sa IELTS, kung hindi, hintay ako next year para dun sa kulang na 1 year exp.

 If your degree is assessed with insufficient ICT content, you will require 6 years relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history, plus a suitable Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) application to meet the suitability criteria.

It says above that they REQUIRE 6 years relevant work experience, does it mean that if I have myself assessed and I don't have 6 years relevant work experience, negative na yung assessment ko?

Yes, that is correct. They will subtract 6 years from your experience as they have subtracted 5 years from mine. I have 9 years exp which only left me with 4 years to claim.

ICT major ako but my degree was assessed as Associate Degree lang.

Graduate ako ng BS ComSci sa Mapua Makati which is under section 2 based dun sa list ng schools natin. Tapos Ive been working for the same company since 2008, from junior to senior software developer. Now ang question ko, may bearing ba kapag nagpaassess kung galing ka sa isang company lang? Or di nila tinitignan yun? And pano yung COE non? Idetailed pa ba lahat ng duties and responsibilities ko kasi nag iiba ako ng level?

Welcome sir @jong! Sa pagkakaalam ko wala namang bearing ang bilang ng employers. Kung ikukumpira sa karamihan mas madali pa nga ang sitwasyon ninyo kasi isang employer lang ang kailangan mong kausapin sa paghingi ng mga documents.

Re sa COE, may format na kailangan sundin. Makikita mo yung guidelines dito sa link:

Peeps, my nakuha ako parang letter sa skillselect. Is this a good sign? 2 yrs lng validity ng ACS dati di ba?

Changes to Skills Assessment Validity Period
This email is to advise you that from 1 July 2014, if a skills assessment is required, it will only be valid for a period of 3 years from the date of issue, unless a shorter validity period is specified on the assessment.

A skills assessment must be valid at the time of lodgement for the following visas:
The Direct Entry stream of the Employer Nominated Scheme (subclass 186) visa;
The Direct Entry stream of the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (subclass 187) visa; and The Graduate Work stream of the Temporary Graduate (subclass 485) visa.
A skills assessment must be valid at the time of invitation to apply through SkillSelect for the following visas:

Skilled – Independent (subclass 189) visa;
Skilled –Nominated (subclass 190) visa; and Skilled Regional (Provisional) (subclass 489) visa.
These changes do not affect the Temporary Work (Skilled) (subclass 457) visa.

Yes, 2 years lng validity ng skills assessment dati. its a good news specially to those na waiting na maging available ung occupation nila sa SMP for state nomination.

@jong - yung ACS assessment hindi based sa padamihan ng employer. Kaya sila humihingi ng proof (CTC docs) to check the validity ng kini-claim mo:

1. For work experience,
> If the position and duties & responsibilities are related to the nominated occupation.
> No. of years of work experience related to the nominated occupation.
> if your COE doesn't have detailed duties & responsibilities, just provide a statutory declaration from your superior/manager.
2. For education, they will check your course & curriculum if it is ICT related. Some school under section 3 got AQF Bachelor Degree but some are not.

Hahaha, very funny, that CO of ACS and the whole ACS. Nadamay tuloy ang buong assessing body. Bumalik sa stage 3 ang skill assessment application namin. They are asking us to choose between these ANZCO 263212 and 262113 which were not listed in any SOL and CSOL. Tingin ko they have mistaken 263212 with 263312- Telecommunication Network Engineer. Then the assessing body is Engineers Australia...naloko na parang naiisip ko if this is the ANZCO they are referring sa Engineers Australia kami i-suggest magpa assess. Anyare ACS? Hindi raw appropriate sa ANZCO 261311- Analyst Programmer yung work exp details ni hubby how come naman kaya eh doon lang naman kami nag based sa dating skills assessment sa amin na sila rin ang nag suggest noon. Ah pag ganito pwede pala talaga ang tailored working reference kasi mismong sila moving din ang disposisyon pagdating sa pagpili ng ANZCO to present to the applicant.

We'll wait for their reply kasi we will be sending our previous skills assessment outcome dated May 2011 since then nman there are no other application done in our end. Stated there that my husband work exp. was assessed under ANZCO 261311-Analyst Programmer. At yung mga ANZCO Code na presented nila for us to choose were not listed in SOL or CSOL...gulo!

Sa Digitel 12yrs.-supervising analyst. Sa accenture more than 2yrs. associate manager. Hindi nman ako mataray talaga at ihihingi ko ng tawad ito sa Diyos. Nagugulat lang ako sa mga action ng ACS. Tsaka forgive me mga ka forum kung yung ibang comment ko negative kasi yun naman talaga ang nabasa ko kaya nga pwede nman akong i-correct

Yung more than 2yrs. exp. ni hubby sa accenture 2mos. doon yung related as analyst. Then after 2mos. presently sa project nila solution architect sya pero wala nman kaming sinubmit sa ACS na detailed working reference kasi si accenture generic ang working reference na binigay so wala n kami inaasahang assessment sa accenture with ACS parang doon n lang sa Digitel umaasa. Tapos parang Telco Network Engr. pa yta gusto i-assessed tapos mali pa yung ANZCO.

Also, medyo naguguluhan ako ano ano talaga pinagkaiba ng mga Nominated jobs like analyst programmer, developer programmer etc...
