Hi guys. Gusto ko lang makasigurado haha. Yubg friend ko kasi nag paassess sya sa ACS last oct 2014 ata. Ok naman yung result tapos 2 years ang deducted sa kanya. Ang kaso e march 2012 onwards ang pwede nya iclaim. So this march 2015 3 years na ang maclaim nya which is minimum to get 5 pts ba? Basta un. Ang tanong ko e ok na ba na magpasa sya ng EOI or sa april na para sure. Tapos no need na magpa reassess dba? Need nya lang provide yung updated coe and other proof na he's still with the current company na nipaassess nya..

pwede na sia magpasa ung eoi namn nagcocompute kung ilang points based sa input mong dates ng employment. so kung wala pa siang 3 years, indi sia bigyan ng points sa work exp. as for ACS result, anu ba nkalagay, after mar 2012? which means, april 1 onwards un.or after feb 2012?

Thanks @appledeuce @barcode sa inputs! Mostly nabasa ko rin no need for reassessment as long as same employer at job description. I guess applicable lang yung reassessment for those who was assessed as not suitable?

Yup, I think you're right (about the reassessment only being for those assessed as not suitable). It doesn't make sense nga naman to apply for reassessment if you stayed with the same company and did the same job functions from the time that you first applied for skills assessment to date.

starting april lang po yan. so 1st April onwards lang ang considered skilled level:)

ok lang nmn, pwede nmn magsubmit ng eoi. automatic namn ung scoring nun. ma-u-update un pagdating ng 1st April.

Nag create kasi ako ng EOI more than a year ago, pero never ko pa na submit at draft status lang ever since. Now ready nako for state nomination, kailangan ko pa ba gumawa ng bagong EOI? or pwde ko na I-edit nalang at submit yun?

helo po.. baka may naka experience na sa inyo ng ganito... na resib ko na po assessment letter..may wrong spelling lang sa name ng dati ko employer..nag email na ako kay CO kaso wala pa reply... ang isang pang problema na notice ko lang yung wrong spelling after 30 days.. nyahahaha!!! shungangers lang ... baka hindi na ako pansinin ni CO at napakatagal na release e ngayon ko lang napuna... sumobra kasi ng "s" dun sa spelling...haiissttt... nakalagay kasi sa guidelines nila na hindi kailangan mag file ng review or appeal pag wrong spelling cases.. pero dapat inform ang CO via email para makakuha ng corrected assessment letter... tama po ba?? TIA

sa mga ka school ko sa Batangas State University. ang BS COE saten ay equivalent sa AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing. 2 years lang deduction saken sa work experience.

no need for reassessment or review, since spelling lang namn ang kelangan baguhin, jsut try to contact the CO so they can issue you a new letter with the correct spelling.

Hi! I am planning magpa-assess under system and network engineer. I graduated Computer Engineering in 2006 and took Post Graduate Certificate in IT in 2009. Kaya lang yung first experience ko is Service Desk. Yung current job ko is pasok sya but less than 4 years palang ako sa current job ko. Do you think macredit yung work ko as Service Desk? (Note service desk ng IT department and not call center agent).

Look closely under the roles and responsibilities defined in your ANZSCO code, dapat closely related yun na makikita ng ACS sa Employment Reference mo.

Thank you po. Another question, if the former company does not want to give COE with the detailed job description kasi gusto lang nila kung ano template meron sila. Can my former supervisor give me job description and just attached that paper on my COE? Or yung job description needs to be a statutory declaration?

"If you are unable to obtain an employment reference on a company letterhead from your employer, a third party official Statutory Declaration written by work colleague may be considered. "

Is there anyone here experienced that their HR does not want to provide detail job description but the manager is willing to give the job description, sign with the company letter head. Will this possible? Two letter from one company. One letter from the former manager enumerating detail job description and one letter from HR that contains all the rest of information required by ACS.

@eric290 I've been there! Kung yung company mo ay hindi nagbibigay ng CoE, you have to request your manager to give you a Statutory Declaration or Affidavit which basically states yung mga info na required ng ACS for the employment reference. Additionally, hingi ka rin ng letter dun sa company mo na nagsstate na hindi sila nag bibigay ng detailed CoE due to some reason. Hingin mo rin ung general CoE na binibigay ng company dahil papasa mo rin yun sa ACS.

just to confirm, your manage is willing to provide the detailed letter printed with the company letterhead diba? then its fine. unless indi sia with the company letterhead, then your manager needs to give u a statutory declaration or affidavit stating your tasks.

Question guys:
I have 6.5 years of experience but ACS deducted 4 years from it. Nag fillup ako ng EOI as draft and nilagay ko yung 6.5 yrs of exp ko. So nabigyan ako ng 70pts total. Pero since nabawasan nga ng ACS ng 4 yrs, then 2.5 yrs lang credited exp ko. 60pts pa din naman.
1. Kailangan ko ba ilagay ang 6.5yr na exp ko or dapat 2.5yrs lang?
2. My nominated occup is still suspended in NSW. Is it a good idea to submit the EOI or wait ko na mag open muna?

@AspireAU21 ang alam ko ilalagay mo yong 6.5 years mo na experience don. Pero 2.5 lang yong ilagay mo na claiming for points or kung ano man.

basta dapat 2.5 years lang ang iclaim mo, which is walang puntos ata.

@J_Oz Thanks sa reply! Sige haha hintay tayo although sa isang thread sa filling up ng EOI, may nagpost 2yrs ago na nagpass sya ng EOI kahit wala pa open na occupation. HIndi ko lang alam kung na-approve sya hehe ang reason nila dun is para daw ma-queue na agad yung application.

@J_Oz Ni-try ko magemail sa NSW about my situation. Ito ang reply nila:
"If you do not meet NSW selection eligibility criteria, such as not having an occupation on the NSW Skilled Occupation List, your EOI will not be able to be considered for selection for the current Feb-June 2015 selection intake. However, it will remain in SkillSelect and can be considered for future intakes if your occupation is put back onto the list."

What do you think? submit EOI na or wait for the occup to open? 2 yrs valid naman po ang EOI dba? thanks

@AspireAU21 ilang points ka currently? hindi pasok sa SOL yong nominated occupation mo no? yeah sa tingin ko ok lang na isubmit siya.

Sa mga nag visa 190 dyan, ano ang sa tingin nyo?

^ If I were you, I'd go ahead and submit EOI to have your EOI date of effect as early as possible.
