ECE rin ako and i've been doing IT for the last ~10-11 years (nung nagpa assess ako) and binawasan nila ako ng 4 years sa experience ko - when i called them and asked for reconsideration, they told me na "I have to deduct 4 years from your experience because your course it not that much related to your nominated skill - software engineer"
not sure if i should have chosen Computer network and systems engineer instead, pero kase ang mga roles and responsibilities ko medyo nakageared towards software engineer.

Mejo mabilis processing ng ACS ngyn, you can submit na anyway those who graduated with ICT major or minor, max or 4 years namn ang pwede ideduct, so you have 4.5 years na at the moment, hopefully only 2 years will be deducted so by June u can claim 3 years of work. If you are working in the same company, no need to get it reassessed.

Nakakatakot po pala magpaassess sa acs pag ECE graduate ka. Lalo for me 3 years pa lang ako nagwowork as programmer. Baka bawasan nila ng sobra tas walang matira.Gosh,,,ECE folks???

Yes. Section 2 po ang PUP. Wala na po akong ibang pinasa. Siguro nakatulong din yung certification ko kaya ako nakakuha ng Bachelor Degree or pwede rin yung contents ng COE ko from my previous companies.

wala ako certification eh. diploma, TOR, at COEs lang ipapasa ko. sana bachelor degree ibigay saken at sana konti lang deductions sa exp.

observation ko sa thread na ito na kapag section 2 na 5 yr course, binibigyan nila ng bachelor degree. 2 years deduction sa work exp if ICT related. if non ICT related 4 year deduction.

Hi Guys,

I was able to gather all my COEs from previous company. Ready na to apply for ACS assessment. Quick question lang, Lord willing kung ma suitable ako sa application ko for ACS... pag nag lodge po ba ako ng visa 189, pwede ko isama yung future wife ko? ikakasal kasi kame sa may 10, 2015 and I'm planning to lodge the EOI if ever by June para complete na wedding papers namen.. Eligible ba sya as my dependent? kasi kung hindi, baka hindi ko na ituloy yung ACS.. and mag stay nalang kame sa dubai. Salamat po in advance!

mga sir/madam...sa mga may vendor certification particularly cisco.. isasama pa po ba ang exam results or grades na binibigay ng pearsonvue after mag exam?? or enough na po yung certification letter and certificate ang i submit? thanks in advance !!

of the submission of the skills assessment

Ang ginawa ko para safe, yung date sa Reference Letter ang nilagay ko. If you want to include the most recent dates to claim more experience, update your reference letter.

I'm going to claim another 2 months without going through ACS since I'm working on the same company and i need 2 more months para ka 8 years exp ako..(7yrs and 10mths ang accepted by ACS)

Ok lang po ba na ang i.submit ko as reference sa 2 months na yon ay Statutory Declaration instead of Certificate of Employment? D kasi nagbibigay ang company ko if ongoing pa ang contract, kahit anong request ko..

@jones888 i think kung na-assess na yong current work/same company mo e ok lang kahit stat declaration. Or you can back it up with your payslips covering those months na di nakasama sa ACS. For Example till Dec 2014 lang na-assess and you are still working for the same company with the same role/responsibilities, Yong January and Feb 2015 siguro ok na isama as long as you can provide proofs such as Payslip and yong stat declaration, baka naman pwede pirmahan yon ng boss mo.

Hello everyone! Some questions po before submitting my ACS Skills Assessment:

1. BS Computer Science 1999 graduate but got my TOR and Diploma 2004 na, SO number is also 2004 due to Incomplete subjects na natagalan i-complete. May impact po ba ito?

2. In my TOR, meron akong 1 sem from other school (different course - MassCom), mostly minor subjects lang naman, may kaso po ba ito?

3. Lastly, it is okay if hindi ako magbayad ng ACS Skills Assessment ko, a friend of mine in AU is willing to pay for it.
