@LokiJr, k_mavs, lock_code2004, @hotshot, @icebreaker1928 guys pahelp naman po. plan po namin mag pa access sa acs. 7yrs experience po ang hubby ko sa IT. 2yrs IT associate pro napromote as POSprogrammer, 1yr programmer, 3yrs senior software eng at 1yr systems analyst sa current job nya. ang pagkakaalam ko po ay group B ang school nya which is AMA. so 6yrs exp po ang requirements. gusto po namin ipaassess as Analyst Programmer. ang tanong ko lng po eh medyo alangan ako dun sa experience nya na IT associate kung icocount ng ACS yun?? if ever mashoshort kami? paki guide naman po kmi kung panu? if ever po ba ang ACS ang pwedeng magsabi kung saan kami suitable talaga? kung analyst programmer or kung ano pang nasa occupation list? pasencya na. sana po ay may sumagot. maraming salamat.

Reply to @stynx: depende po yan sa nakalagay kasi sa mga detailed COE's nya. kahit ano pa ang "title/position" nya sa company, basta consistent naman ang detailed job description/duties nya with the description of his nominated occupation (which is Analyst Programmer), tingin ko ika-count naman ng ACS yun. so ayusin nyo na lang ang statements sa COE's nya para gawing consistent compared to the ANZSCO definition of Analyst Programmer.

Parang ganyan ang pinag-referan ko nung gnawa ko yung COE ko eh. Pero depende pa rin sa assessment nila.

Say for example, ako nagtrabaho ng 1 yr as Web Programmer/Designer. Ndi nila yun ni-credit kse di ata aligned sa Analyst Programmer. Meron atang ibang skill para sa mga web programmers e. Kaya ayun. Buti na-credit yung ibang employment ko.

@hotshot, @katlin924 thanks sa info at link. ayusin ko maige yung coe pra request ko sa HR ng hubby ko at may mapakita akong draft sa kanila.
tanung ko na din pala. medyo confuse kc ako sa iaattach sa acs. ok lng ba na scanned ko ung original (coloured) at yun na mismo ang ipapasa or need pa ng ctc?

Reply to @stynx: based sa guidelines ng ACS...mukang kelangan ipa-CTC e. ito ang sabi sa ACS:

Applicants are required to make copies of original documents and upload the certified copies in PDF file format into the online application form.
Preparing Documents to Upload into the Online Application Form:
1. Gather and organise all required documents to be assessed
2. Create copies of all original documents - Example: Degree Certificate or Work Reference
3. Have all copies certified by an authorised person
4. Scan & Save certified copies in a PDF file format
5. Upload PDF files of certified copies via the Online Application Form

and

Required PDF Documentation:
1. Certified copy of Birth Certificate or Passport
2. Certified copy of Academic Qualification documentation
 Title of Award
 Name of Awarding Institution
 The Year & Month Completed
 Grades Achieved
3. Certified copy of Academic Transcripts
4. Certified copies of Detailed Employment References
5. Complete ACS Project Report Form (RPL) if applying for Recognition of Prior Learning

may tanong nga pala ako (ulit hehehe). pwede bang dyan ko sa Pinas pa certify as true copy yung COE ko sa SG? balak ko kasi umuwi then kukunin ko yung mga iba ko pang COE then sabay sabay ko na pa CTC, pwede ba isama ko na din yung COE ko dito sa SG or dapat ba dito din sa SG ang mag CTC nito?

pwede naman na sa pinas ipactc. yung mga ibang kababayan ntin sa pinas cla nag ctc. pro meron din nmang dyn na sa sg. depende kung saan mo gusto. sana magkabatch tyo @Al5yd

Hi to everyone! Tanong ko lang po kung sino sa inyo ang may Thesis as 1 of their subjects nung college days nila. Need pa po ba ng ACS ang Thesis or Research Abstract kung magpapa-assess? Thanks po sa info.

Hi, I am currently sa SAP Finance and Controlling Consultant. I don't know kung alin yung suitable for me between the two choices ( 261311 Analyst Programmer or 261313 Software Engineer ). I hope may maka pag shed ng light here. Thanks and more power!

Reply to @coachella9: SAP BI Consultant po ako and Analyst Programmer yung nominated occupation ko. but, depende po talaga siguro kung san mas fit yung job details nyo. kung pareho naman applicable sa ginagawa nyo, just choose one of them. pareho naman po nasa CSOL yung Analyst Programmer at Software Engineer at parehong sched 1.

SAP XI/PI ako, ang pinili ko Software Engineer. Pero if yung description ng role mo ay mas fit sa Analyst Programmer, then go for it. :-)

Reply to @cnel_26: ano po ba ang assessment na kukunin nyo? skills or RPL? kung skills, di na po kelangan kasi di naman po ako nagpasa nung nagpa-assess ako dati. pero kung RPL, baka pwede nyo ilagay yung thesis na ginawa nyo sa RPL nyo (but i'm not too familiar with RPL though).

Still gathering requirements. Nagrequest pa lang po ako ng tailored COE sa Manager namen. Buti pumayag naman xa kaya lang need ko pa i-follow-up this week.

Hi Guys, Pa help naman. I have submitted my documents for IT ACS assessment last Sat. 4th Aug. 2012. They emailed me today the following.


Thank you for your email.

We require a detailed reference letter from Company A, Company B, Company C, Company D, Company E and Company F. If you are unable to provide a detailed reference letter we require an official statutory declaration from a colleague in a higher position that can state the required information.

Q1. Most of my official reference letters has this as my detailed duties. Dapat ba e detail ko pa ito?

"His Primary duties are to design, develop, test, maintain and document program code in accordance with user requirements, and system and technical specifications of Microsoft SharePoint technology."

Q2: Pag gawin ko pang more detailed yung duties ko, babalik ako doon sa mga previous companies ko, feeling ko tatagal pa yung turn around time. pwede kaya gagawa nalang ako ng statutory declaration from a colleague? Any advice kung paano?

Reply to @hernanipollaruste: tingin ko po kelangan nila ng mas mas detailed na COE. yung sa reference letter ko kasi dati talagang sobrang detailed ng duties. tapos naka-list down din yung lahat ng projects na na-involve ako at kung ano ginawa ko sa project na yun. cguro per company, mga 3 to 4 pages each. i'm just not sure kung gaano ka-detailed yung acceptable sa ACS pero ginawa ko na lang na ganun para sure. mas maganda siguro kayo na mag-draft ng mga employer references para i-sign na lang nila?

Reply to @hernanipollaruste: aba may ganitong sample na pala ang ACS ngayon (dati kasi wala). hehehe opo dapat po parang yung sa sample...medyo madaming description. sa akin mga 7 or 8 detailed job/duties e. one liner lang po ba talaga yung nakalagay sa detailed employer references nyo?

Hay, mukhang back to zero ako nito...hingi ulit doon sa mga previous employers....this time baka 7 to 8 job duties na....

Hi Mga Sirs - Baka meron na nakapag experience nito..yung dati ko po na company sa pinas Accenture yung name...huminigi ako ng COE with detailed duties/job descriptions..kaso yung binigay nila sa akin yung walang detailed duties/job descriptions...binigyan pa nila ako ng official disclaimer letter na "worldwide business practice nila daw na nde namimigay ng detailed duties sa COE"....pinadala ko yung COE and disclaimer for IT ACS assessment..kaso ayaw tanggapin ng ACS agent yung disclaimer..ano kaya other alternative ko sa mga ganitong scenarios?

Pde ka gumawa ng statutory declaration to support your COE. If you know someone na higher position like a manager from ACN, you can ask them to sign that stat dec. May format prescribed ang ACS for that.

Reply to @hernanipollaruste: same case as mine (came from ACN as well)...at talagang di sila nagbibigay ng detailed COE. hanapin mo na lang previous manager mo para mag-sign sa affidavit. ikaw na mag-draft ng ilalagay na job details sa affidavit para signature na lang nya kelangan.
