Hingi po sana ako ng advice.

Under ako sa agency from 06/14 - 01/16 and was assigned to their client XXX. Tapos 02/16 to present kinuha ako ng client para gawing direct contract.

Ito po ang mali ko sa employment declaration sa ACS. Na declare ko na from 06/14 - present employed na ako sa client XXX. Nawala sa isip ko na under pala ako ng agency from 06/14 - 01/16. Ang duties and responsibilities are the same. Ang kaibahan lang ay yung agency ang nag papasahod sa akin from 06/14 - 01/16.

Pwede pa ba mag appeal or kailangan mag apply ng panibago? Last 05/07/2017 ko lang nakuha yung letter from ACS.

Hi ask ko lang my uncle is trying to apply for this visa. Tpos sya ng computer engineer and support analyst sya in dubai at the moment. Nagkakaproblem sya sa pagkuha ng reference letter nya since yung unang amo nya lumipat ng saudi. Tas sa current work nya hindi rin sya makahingi since baka akalain nila aalis na sya. Hingi lang sana ako ng advice.

Tas how much po kaya ang kailangan iprepare? Nsa early stages pa lang sya. Nagpa assess pa lang sya sa isang agency sa dubai.

Ask po sana ako ng help, mag submit palang kami ng docs sa ACS. Magkaka issue kaya kung father ng husband ko ang mag CTC ng docs?

@waderwander No, if your father-in-law has the legal rights to do CTC, then I assume it's not an issue.

Also to ask, does ACS deduct relevant years only within the 10-yr span o regardless? Say since 2005 up to present ang relevant work mo pero kunwari 2 yrs ang i-deduct nila --starting 2007 sila mag deduct or sa starting 2005?

@waderwander there are several factors (school's section, course, units of IT subjects etc.). Afaik, 2yrs minimum yung deduction (for AQF Bachelors and closely related to IT with major in computing).

Let's say 2007-2017 work yung inasses, if 2yrs deduction - then 2009 until 2017 yung skilled employment mo. Meaning from 2009 ka lang pwede magclaim ng points.

@aranayad make statutory declaration, see ACS guidelines on how to do it. Make sure your uncle doesn't perform desktop support or else he will get negative skills assessment.

@SAP_Melaka A ok, usually ba lahat ng relevant work years ina-assess nila and not only yung within the last 10 yrs?

I would like to ask some information and i will try to be brief as much as I could.

Here's my quick background:
1. I graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology - Manila
Section 1 category
2. I am graduate of B.S. Industrial Engineering
3. I am working for 85 months with combined experiences in Systems Analysis
4. I am 32 years old and will turn 33 by June next year.

What is the best approach so far?
Go for Engineers Australia - relate experiences to IE by submitting CDR
Go for ACS - list down actual job experiences and submit RPL

How will RPL affect my school category as well as my education qualifications or work qualifications?

When do you consider age point? By the time you lodge your EOI, or by the time you submit a Skills Assessment?

It would be a big help to have these information.

@sizzlingralph AFAIK age point is considered when you lodge your VISA already.
Not sure about sa RPL effect. Pero sakin, my course was B.S. ECE and nagpaassess ako sa ACS for 263111(COmputer Network and Systems Engineer), nabawasan ako ng 4 years sa assessment ko.

Hello,

I am new here. Gusto ko lang magconsult about sa current situation ko.

I received the following ACS assessment.

The following employment after May 2012 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261313 (Software Engineer) of the ANZSCO Code.

Dates: 05/10 - 10/12 (2yrs 5mths)
Dates: 10/12 - 10/15 (3yrs 0mths)
Dates: 10/15 - 01/16 (0yrs 3mths)
Dates: 01/16 - 09/16 (0yrs 8mths)

Then, I lodged my EOI last January 18 after I got my PTE results. Pero, sa employment history ko ung start ng claiming ng points ko May 1, 2012 nalagay ko.

Na-overlook ko ung part na "after May 2012". I assumed included ung May 2012 sa claiming ng points.

Then, come May 6, 2017, nag-auto-update ung points ko for 5 years experience so the Date of Effect became May 6, 2017.

Ngayon nagbabasa basa ako sa forum and mostly ang feedback ng mga tao about questions like this is to claim points starting the following month (which for my case should be June 1, 2017).

Ngayon, inupdate ko na siya to start claiming points for June 1, 2017 kasi ayoko magkaproblem sa visa application.

However, the Date of Effect remained at May 6, 2017. I worry that they may think I intentionally did this to get ahead of the rankings but this is certainly an honest mistake.

Hope you can advise me on this. Thank you in advance!

guys, 2 tanong lng po....
1) if meron naba nka experience sa inyo na hindi mka re-upload ng passport/birth sa personal details section ng ACS?
2) nag reply ako sa email ng CO, at dun ko na lng na attach ang mga docs, ok lng ba yun? na sa email ko lng ina-tach?

kc nka upload na ako pag July 1, pero nag email sa'kin ang CO, sabi need daw mag upload ako ng missing doc na passport/birth...so pag re-upload ko sa doc, nag error cya...."You can only upload one file" daw.....so hindi ko na upload ang doc....

@kh@L3L. It's fine. It happened to me also. The CO's instruction was to reply to her email and attach the docs.

hello mga kapatid, BS Computer Science grad ako but work ko is Storage and Backup Engineer for 7years. Pwede ba ako mg pa assess sa ACS with "Computer Network & Systems Engineer" occupation? Thanks in advance po.

@soddie , just got it now after I replied to your question bawas 5 years total exp ko kasi AQF diploma lang ako pero more than enough na ito. Hope you have your result by today or tomorrow

ask ko lng po, meron ba tau tracker kung san natin makikita yung progress ng ACS assessment natin? or talagang need natin check lng dun sa ACS website.
