@anntotsky you can check my signature.. nagpa assess ako for both software engineer and software tester and parehong positive naman yung assessment ko.. kasi nakita ko na almost same yung JD nila kaya for me mas okay ang SE since mas madaming options for visa and mas madaming opening for SS.

@jamzy12 yun kasi yung rule na nila na magbabawas sila ng min na 2yrs s work experience to be eligible for migration pero dipende pa yan kung ano ma aassess nila sa education mo kasi dun sila mag base kung ilang years yung ibabawas nila sa work experience mo.

@Hunter_08 @jamzy12 a more logical explanation is that the number of years they deduct is what they use to satisfy the suitability criteria as per Australian standards. So meaning even if you’ve completed your qualification yung first 2 years (or whatever years applicable) mo Sa work, dun ka pa lang nag accumulate ng skilled experience. Once you’ve passed that time period, you have enough work experience to claim na skilled work experience yung meron ka.

Tanong po:

If na-assess po ba ng migration agent na AQF Diploma(level5), ma-eenhance ba ng vendor certification yun IT Course(Bachelors) ko?

CCNP yun meron ako, kung tataas sa level6 or level7 sa AQF rank? sa ACS application.

not also familiar with the ICT Major/Minor terms they use hehe

kasi i can only get 10 pts sa IT na bachelors course ko na natapos. (not known school).

@agila thanks sa pagsagot, not the points pero yung nabasa ko dito, Cisco and Microsoft certs are assessed by ACS also, gusto ko lang maintindihan saang part ng Assessment nagmamatter yun Vendor Certification, sa Educational background or sa Work Experience deduction?

@jdash sorry but your Education wont add up with the certifications. Either yung school mo or ung CCNP mo yung gagamitin nila for assessment but not BOTH. If CCNP mo then AQF Diploma yun minus 5 year or 6 years depende sa assessment nila same thing happend to me.

Hi, may question lang ako about sa pag file ng Review or ng Appeal.

I applied for assessment this June 2018, then I received a feedback last Aug na kailangan ko mag provide ng additional document. So I provided even the latest COE from my current company, dated Aug 2018 din. After a few days ko mag provide ng documents, nareceive ko na yung assessment letter ko.

I started my career ng July 2006, then nagbawas si ACS ng 4 years (bec of my course) so yung qualified experience lang is July 2010 onwards.

Yung assessment sa akin, bale July 2010 to June 2018, which is yung date ng 1st submission ko sa ACS. Nanghinayang ako kasi lumalabas na 7yrs and 11mos experience ito. 1 month short of the 8yrs experience na mas mataas na ang magiging score sana. Hindi nila naconsider yung latest COE na sinubmit ko, which is Aug 2018. Magiging 8yrs 1month sana ang experience ko kung naconsider yun.

Kailangan ko pa magfile ng review, or may laban ako kung Appeal ang isasubmit ko? Kung review kasi, same document lang din naman ang ibibigay ko, which is yung latest COE from my current company. Kung appeal naman, may pag asa kaya na manalo ang case and marefund ko ang $395 na additional fee?

@*charm* if same company ka naman ng june 2018 upto present no need for review or appeal. you can claim 8yrs for work exp basta kapag nag lodge ka na ng visa provide the latest COE.. pero kapag nagpalit ka ng employer ibang usapan na yun, you need to re-apply para ma consider yung new company mo.

mukang bata ka pa naman based sa pinanghihinayangan mong -2 years ng ACS, so time will come at makakapag apply ka din.

Ah pwede pala yung ganun. Kasabay pag lodge isubmit yung copy ng current COE. Nanghinayang kasi ako sa pwedeng additional 5pts kung ma-claim ko yung 8yrs. Thank you!

According sa guidelines nila :

Teaching Experience
ICT Teaching must be in a recognised qualification at the level of an AQF Diploma or higher and at an institution recognised by the ACS assessment process.

Mga subjects na naituro ko includes: Computer fundamentals and programming, Digital Electronics, Principles of Communication, and Data communications.

I consider kaya nila to?

you can include it in the assessment. sila naman ang mag-aassess nyan kung icoconsider nila o hindi.

Mga sir, tanong ko lang sana, eto kasi ang current status ko, magttry na ko mag pa access sa ACS, graduate po ko ng CoE (5years) from a Section 2 school. Graduated April 2010.

Work Experience:

Company A
IT Tech Sr. Analyst (Sept 2017-Present) 1 year, 1 month

Company A
IT Tech. Analyst (April 2011-Aug 2017) 6yrs, 4 months

Company B
IT Support Engr (Jan 2011-Mar 2011) 2 months

Company C
IT Support (June 2010 - Dec 2010) 6 months

Is my job aligned po sa aking course ng college? Hope they can assess me as Bachelor's degree. Hope someone can share their expertise. Good luck po sating lahat!

ang tanong ay kung aligned ang job roles and responsibilities mo sa AU job code (anzsco) na ipapa-assess mo.

@carlomorato According po sa guidelines ni ACS..

A Bachelor degree must have:
• 33% ICT content for a 3 year course
• 25% ICT content for a 4 year course
• 20% ICT content for a 5 year course
The ICT content must progress through all years of the program with the final year being at an advanced level.

Additionally, eto pa po sabi ng guidelines:

ANZSCO ICT Content
In all educational qualifications, 65% of the ICT content must be closely related to the nominated occupation (ANZSCO) to meet the suitability criteria.

In short, sa 20% na ICT content ng curriculum ninyo, 65% po dun dapat related sa inyong napiling ANZSCO code na ipapa assess nyo kagaya ng sabi ni @patotoy.

@anntotsky Wala po specified na document size sa guidelines. As long as scanned document does not exceed 200 DPI and file size and does not exceed 3MB.
