Sharing our case for the e-appeal application.

I am the main applicant while my wife, currently working in Singapore, as the secondary applicant/dependent to our application. We have not yet lodged our visa application as we planned of front loading all required documents. Hence we do not have yet any visa application confirmation as supporting letter to my wife's SG COC application.

We filed an appeal with only the following documents as evidence:
1. ITA (With the main applicant's name only)
2. ROM Marriage Certificate (because we got married in SG) + PSA Certificate of Marriage in one file.

We indicated the following statement on our application:

"I, (Wife's name), Filipino of legal age, currently residing at (Singapore Address) would like to request for Singapore Police Clearance in support of my application together with my husband, (Husband's name), for a permanent residence visa in the country of Australia which requires the submission of police clearance certificate for all countries stayed by 12 months or more.

You may refer to the following pertinent information in support of my application for the document:

Employer Address:

In support to my request for the police clearance, I have included the invitation to apply sent by the Australia Government Department of Home Affairs to my husband who is the primary applicant while I am the secondary applicant. Additionally, our certificate of marriage is included as well for reference."

She applied last October 14 (Sunday) and got the approval October 16 (Tuesday).

@Hendro alam ko pag PR/ SG Citizen no need na ng E-appeal, direct application na ng Certificate of Clearance. Pero pag any work pass hawak kelangan mag E-Appeal, and wait ka na ma-APPROVE yun E-Appeal before you can apply for the COC.

Sa mga na rereject ng E-Appeal gandahan nio lang yung pag eexplain sa letter nio why you need ng COC, make it a formal letter of request then attached nio yung EOI or ITA and yung COPY na Required ang COC sa bansang pupuntahan nio.

@mcril22 we already get our sg COC, SG citizen lang ang hndi na need mgappeal..

mga kapatid - yung sa eappeal ang nilagay nyo din ba reason for getting coc e - Others? tapos indicate na for application/visa requirement for Australia? checking lang sana ako. tnx

@corrappyka_CE thanks ulit sa tips sa pag apply ng COC - all ok na kami scheduled for fingerprint nalang. Maganda talaga na malinaw ang application para sa gayon, wala na din tanong that will cause possible rejection. Salamat ulit ng marami sa tulong

@ms_ane Same case din po ba kayo? Or ung sa ITA name nyo din po ba nakalagay?

@corrappyka_CE oo ako yung main applicant and name ko ang nasa ITA kaya ni pattern ko yung sa iyo na appeal statement for my husband para malinaw then attached docs pati yung marriage cert

@ms_ane ah i see. you're welcome po! At least other members can follow the same to avoid rejection considering natry nyo na din po using the same statement and succeeded on getting an approval.

Sa mga di na nagwowork sa SG. Tanong ko lang about sa E-Appeal na form:

1) Log in by FIN (Can I use my "old" FIN when I was working in SG? I'm assuming unique ang FIN number at di nirerecycle. Just want to be sure.)

2) Pwede bang SG address ng friend ko yung ilagay ko sa Postal Address para sila na magreceive and then deliver sakin nung CoC once approved?

3) Handphone Number (Can I use my SG proxy's number?)

hello po, ung SG COC po ba at NBI clearance ng pinas both under Overseas Police Clearance -National? pwede po ba mgupload ng dlwang beses under that catergory or should i merge in one file?

I am working here in SG for more than 10 years..do we still need to get nbi clearance in the future pag mag aapply na ng visa?

@anntotsky I think you better prepare it nlng, if im not mistaken meron prin nhingan ng nbi kht lagpas 10 years n sila hndi nktira sa pinas..

Just to add our experience, more than 10 years na rin ako sa SG, pero I still provided NBI clearance.

@ms_ane hello po and thanks sa response. bale yung question ko is, How can I obtain a police clearance from Singapore, considering na hindi na po akonag wowork doon and hindi na din valid yung SPASS ID ko.?

nag try kasi akong mag request online kaso kelangan nang login eh. it's asking for that FIN # sa pass ko dati.
