    @kristine_1377 based on my practice recordings, my average is about 27 secs. I believe gnon din po sa actual.. What I remember nung 1st take ko is click next na agad.. Pero etong 2nd ko, hinihintay kong completed.

    @kristine_1377 hindi ko po hinawakan... Normal voice lang po ako.. Baka you might consider po other subtest ng speaking.. Baka yun po ang naka apekto.. Like yung sa describe image at re-tell po..

    @Julian which sample question are you referring to? is that the offline one or the online? if offline, there is a corresponding answer key provided, meanwhile if online, you'll get the answer to the questions once you finish the test.

    @CPAofOz I mean online, I try to submit it but it was just located in RESULT as completed task. Do I have to finish all the online question before I get the answer key?

    Nag-exam ako kahapon sa Bright Center.
    Na-email na kanina around 1pm yung result.

    I needed 65 in para maka-claim ng 10 points. Thank God at nakuha ko score na kailangan ko.

    Listening - 68
    Reading - 68
    Writing - 68
    Speaking - 72

    Kabado ako kasi yung reading ko di ko natapos, meron pa yatang 2 or 3 pages na hindi tapos kasi naubusan ako ng oras.
    Yung Speaking ko naman medyo tagilid din kasi meron mga graph/picture na di ko na-interpret/explain maigi.

    Ako lang yung nag-exam kahapon. Kala ko nga hindi tuloy yung exam kasi 12pm yung schedule ko, 11am ako dumating pero sarado yung office nila. Dumating yung test-admin ng almost 12pm na. Mabait yung test-admin at hindi strict na katulad sa mga IELTS exam center. Nakikipagkwentuhan pa nga sya before & after my exam.

    I thank this forum kasi dito lang di ako kumuha ng mga resources, study guide at mga tips.
    Overalll I can say na mas madali itong PTE Academics compare sa IELTS.

    @danyan2001us: sabihin mo sa wife mo familiarize herself dun sa format ng PTE at yung pakakaka-order ng exam. I did practice the whole saturday/early sunday before my exam. good luck po. :)

    Congratulations sa mga bagong na bless ng PTE! i'm creating a blog to compile all the tips that I gathered from all forums and website para hindi na mahirap magscroll.. sulputan sulputan nalang pag may time.. hehe.. exam ko na sa thursday.. grabe muntik ko na maalala.. puro basa ako ngayong ng mga graphs/tables/diagram for decribe image preparation. so far yun lang ang afford ng time ko. hopefully, no pressure ang PTE na on Wednesday. Haha

    @eischied_21 it's an erasable notepad and marker ang gamit sa exams.. You are not allowed to bring anything, including handkerchief!

    @eischied_21 I recommend to test first the marker if it works properly well. Kasi yung marker during my first exam nag blo-blot siya sa una tapos minsan hindi agad susulat sa una.. Although yung 2nd exam ko, okay na yung marker. :)

    helo po.. ask ko lang po ako kung ano po yung i honor ng DIBP sa scoring ng english test for PTE-A...yung communicative skills scores po ba?? or yung enabling skills scores po??.... medyo naguluhan lang po kasi ako sa result ng exam ko lalo na po dun sa enabling skills written discourse = 10... hehehehe... pero naka 68 pa rin ako sa writing!!!?? milagrong matindi to!! :) honestly.. hindi ko natapos yung 2 essays sa exam both of them ay meron lang akong 140-160 words...

    Wrting=68

    Enabling Skills

    Grammar=65
    Oral Fluency=81

    Ano ba yun normal count of words sa essay 250 to 300 or 200 to 300? Then need na tapusin yun timer bago mag next?

    @baknir, only the communicative skills is counted. PTE Academic included the enable skills to give us a breakdown of our scores. The 1st 3 is for speaking and the other 3 is for writing. Anyways, congrats! You already gained a 7.0 grade equivalent in IELTS. For the record, did you take any IELTS test? what was the result?

    @Julian, write essay test requires us to have 200 - 300 words.

    Points test (60pts):
    (a) Age - 25-32 yrs old - 30pts - OK!
    (b) English language ability - Proficient English (Plan A: 7.0 in each band of IELTS; Plan B: 65 in each component of PTE Academic) - 10pts
    (c) Skilled Employment - 3-5 yrs in skilled employment outside Australia - 5pts - OK!
    (d) Qualifications - Bachelor degree from a degree of a recognised standard - 15pts - OK!

    Requirements of Assessing Authority (CPAA - General Skills Assessment):
    (a) Bachelor degree - OK!
    (b) 7 Competency Areas - OK!
    (c) Proficient English

    Plan B: Student Visa - Masters by Coursework strike-out
