hi po. sino na po nakapanood dito ng tutorial videos ni navjot brar, indian lady? e2 po link ... mukhang ok kaso I am not sure if ganun ba talaga ang scoring sa PTE. According to her, hindi particular ang PTE sa mga high level vocabulary unlike IELTS. Simple and basic English words are fine as long as okay ang pronunciation at fluency. Also, sabi nya, if wala ka masyado napick up dun sa lecture, ok lang na ulit ulitin ung sinabi mo pero dapat iparaphrase. In that way, sa content is mababa ang score pero sa pronunciation at fluency e may possibility na mataas ang score.Tama po ba siya? Salamat po. ;-)

@jkl_032715 Content is less important than oral fluency and pronunciation. Based sa scoring, content is only 1/3 of the score and 2/3 goes to oral fluency and pronunciation for speaking questions. For example, re-tell lecture and describe image.

salamat po @vincechaos . when it comes po sa writing, same rule din ba. okay lang ang simple words as long as correct ang grammar?.. any suggestion po anong site ang pinakauseful sa pagrereview? Question po, can I use IELTS' templates for PTE. I took IELTS twice na kasi so kahit papaano may mga templates na ko alam. Salamat po. ;-)

@jkl_032715 Search in youtube for the e2language (speaking, listening, writing and reading) mock tests or tutorials. Marami tips ang binibigay s mga un.
Ang PTE essay writing is different from IELTS essay. The PTE essay is an argumentative essay only while IELTS essay type depends on the question/topic. :-bd

@vincechaos salamat. nag enroll ka ba sa e2 languange? Is it advisable na mag enroll or enough na ung nasa youtube? medyo mahal din kasi fee nila.

Sino po sainyo dito ang naka-experience na mababa ang enabling score sa ORAL FLUENCY at pano ginawa nyo para tumaas ito.

@coachella9 Yung sakin, tinesting ko yung mic sa ibat ibang position. Binasa ko ng malakas yung mga instruction habang nagrerecord tas pinapakinggan ko. Tinry ko din kung nacacapture ba ng mic yung boses ng mga katabi ko tsaka yung paghinga ko.

Parang pare parehas lang yung output regardless kung san ko sya iposition hehehe. Pero I settled na iposition sya sa lips level.

@mistervirata Salamat po. I try ko rin po yan, para mas kuha ang boses. Kasi medyo soft spoken po ako so lagyan ko ng effort talaga lakasan ng kaunti, saka di rin ako sanay ng pasigaw. Nawawala yung pagiging natural ng speaking tone.

@coachella9 Actually normal lang yung level ng boses ko nun, hindi naman ako sumigaw. And I think hindi nakakatulong pag sumisigaw. Basta maximize mo yung opportunity na itest yung mic before you start the test.

@coachella9 yung position ng mic ko sa gitna ng lips at nose. pero tama din si @mistervirata test mic ka muna. tips ko sa speaking hingang malalim 2 secs before ng recording, para makontrol mo breathing at pacing ng pagsasalita mo. no need din pasigaw kahit normal tone ok lang basta clear at tuloy tuloy lang. remember, computer is the one scoring us. goodluck and GOD bless.

@coachella9 hindi ko lang sure if pwede lakasan yung mic during mic test, wala na kasi akong binago sakin.

@albertus1982 @coachella9 Sa pagkakaalam ko, you can only adjust the volume of the speaker/headphone but not the mic. Let's wait sa input ng iba.

I agree with @mistervirata. wala pang adjust sa volume ng mic. headphone lang meron pang adjust ng volume.

@jkl_032715 yes nakapag ielts na ko at bigo din ako doon dahil sa consistent na 6.5 sa writing. Well di ko pa masasabi if madali PTE compared to IeLTS kc mag eexam plng din ako ahhahahah! Pero so far sa mga mock test na ginawa ko, I need i need to improve the way I speak, though di ako nagsstutter pero kc mahina ang boses ko when it comes to talking at I feel na naka affect un sa score ng mocktest ko. Huhuhuhu

Naisip ko na naman dahil sa boses kong napakahina ba ito. Soft spoken kc ako.need ko na yta sumigaw hahahhah! Kaso baka masapak ako ng katabi ko pag mag exam na. Harujusko. :-O

@eynah_gee Baka may problem sa gamit m na headphones and mic sa Mock test. Sa actual ay ok nmn yung mga gamit nila sa pearsonvue. Based on experience, gamit ko lang nung nagmock test ako ay earphones at laptop mic tapos mababa rin grades ko.

@vincechaos kinakabahan ako tuloy baka mmya pag dating ng exam jusko ma bingo ako sa speaking na yan. Suggestions pls. Na frustrate ako ng bongga ahhahahha

@eynah_gee nung nagmock test ako bumili talaga ako ng headset yung parang sa call center para exam mode talaga at mage-gauge ko ng tama ang score ko para mapaghandaan ang real exam. Kung feel mo confident ka naman sa speaking mo, baka may problema lang sa register nung boses mo sa recording kc laptop mic gamit mo. Goodluck and God bless sa exam mo

@albertus1982 Ang gamit ko kc ung bagong headset ko with mic ung sa iPhone. Actually bumili ako ng headset na parang sa callcenter kaso di ko alam pano gamitin sa laptop kc sa magkabilanh side ung parang plug ng mic tsaka ng headset eh di naman ako techie so i decided na bumili ng new iPhone headset with mic. Iniisip ko tuloy naapektuhan ba dahil sa mejo mabilis aq magsalita or kc soft spoken ako. Malapit na ko mag exam kaya napapa isip aq if magpapa resched ba ko or what. Haaaay nakakapanlumo

@albertus1982 hahahhaha! Upon research ngaun ko lang nalaman na meron plng audio splitter for headset. Heheheh! Bibili na ko mmya at gagamitin q for practice at para na din sa next mock exam ko.

@eynah_gee yes gamitin mo yang headset mo sa next mock mo. magtry ka muna magrecord using that headset bago ka magmock ulit. read aloud ko 27-30 secs. wag masyado mabagal, nakakaapekto yan sa OF.

@eynah_gee hi. salamat...6.5 din ako sa writing pero nagparemark ako, gang ngaun ala pa din ung result. natry mo ba magparemark?...naku soft spoken din ako, baka yan din maging problema ko. minsan pag nagsasalita ako e hindi maintindihan ng kasama ko kasi mahina pero minsan nman para naman daw ako sumisigaw...sana makuha natin ung target score natin para go go go aussie dreams na tau...good luck sa tin...;-)

@jkl_032715 di ko pa na try magparemark kc feeling ko waste of time tas bka madismaya lang aq.
Nagyon pinapractice ko magsalita ng malakas pero di sumisigaw at di mabilis. Feeling ko baka naka affect ung mabilis ko pananalita sa speaking section. Lol

Gaano po katagal bago malaman ang scores sa pte exam? May mga kakilala ako sa singapore na sabi within 24hours lng daw. Di ko alam kung same pag nagtake sa Pinas?

@squinx22 yup, halos same lang. normally 24-48 hours. pero max na ang 5 days.
