@eherm hello, if medyo sanay hubby mo na mag take ng mga online exam, self review sa mga youtube is okay na then yung mock exam ng pearson para masanay sa pagkakasunod sunod ng exam. Pero okay din review center kasi matututunan talaga nya yung proper way ng pag sagot.. medyo mabilis facing ng exam sa PTE, mahalaga wag papa apekto sa mga katabi at maririnig mo talaga katabi mo sa speaking at pati pagta type ng iba sa computer. focus lang at matapos bawat parts.

@JDpaz kapatid, highly recommended ang pakikinig ng BBC Radio daily para masanay po kayo sa accent, may mga podcasts po na available dun, meron din repeat sentence practices ang Macmillan at Kenny, try nyo din po videos ng E2 language at PTE Gold sa You Tube. Good luck and God bless.

goodevening po sa inyong lahat, ask ko lang po dun sa mga nakapag practice ng read aloud sa sample questions sa pte na included sa gold kit, sadya bang matunog ung letter "s"? kasi kapag nagrerecord ako sa phone ko, di naman matunog ung letter "s", unlike pagka dun ako sa read aloud sa pte sample questions mismo nagrerecord. makakaapekto po kaya un? trny ko na ilayo ung mic sa bibig ko, walang epekto, tlgang matunog lng ung "s" sobrang lakas ko din kasi magsalita. salamat po!

@JDpaz hello. same problem. goldfish memory din ako! haha. practice ka sa youtube. dami dun. tip: try to understand and remember by phrase. not single words. ma-overwhelm ka kasi. tapos personally, nakatulong din sakin if i close my eyes. I've read somewhere na kahit na hindi mo masabi ang complete sentence so long as ma-mention mo yung keywords, may points ka pa din.

@zballesteros what do u mean matunog? baka maxado malapit ang mic? kaya parang long hissing sound ang S? hmm, depende siguro sa word na may S. like yung mga plural. For example "dozens of ships and airplanes" - i think you should be pronouncing it clearly pero try mo na wag mo habaan maxado un S sa huli..

Medyo sad sa reading and writing results pero Masaya naman ako sa Speaking results ko. I still have time to practice naman kaya koto. Thank you sa mga tips dito guys. Silent reader lang ako before.

@nicstee hi thank you for your reply. i tried ilayo ung mic pero gnun p din ung sound, dq sure if may problem ako with my "s" pero sa inyo ba na nakapagpractice hndi naman gnun? Ang concern ko kasi pg nagrerecord naman ako thru laptop recorder ok naman pero pgka dun na sa mismong read aloud sa practice pg plinayback ko msyadong mtunog ung "s".

@zballesteros send ka sample recording mo if you don't mind. ano ba difference ng ginagamit mo na recording? at saka san yung read aloud practice na tinutukoy mo?

@nicstee hi there, thank you ulit sa reply. trny ko gumamit ng earphone with mic instead of headset during my mock test today, ok naman ang result di rin msyadong matunog ung "s" kapag nakaearphone, hopefully sa real exam, compatible din ung magamit kong headset sa boses ko.

I've been lurking sa thread na 'to for the last two months searching for tips and learning from other peep's experiences. yesterday, i took my first pte and got the result today morning:

Practice tests ko:
Mock test A - (LRSW-81/71/68/82)
Mock test B - (LRSW-79/81/66/81)
I'm posting not to brag, but to share my experience too..at magpasalamat na din sa lahat ng nagshare ng mga naging karanasan nila sa PTE dito sa thread na nakatulong sa mga katulad ko. average lang english ko at sinawing palad din ako sa ielts. band 7 lang kailangan ko (non-prorata occupation 233311) pero 6 lang ako sa writing & 6.5 sa speaking. sa PTE, I followed Heprex's tips https://goo.gl/kfgT5A . sa describe image, first option ko is yung format ni e2language sa youtube then pag wala akong conclusion, i used Heprex's. dami ko din naging utal, but still naka 90 sa speaking. importante, move on ka lang & try na wag magpaapekto pag narattle ka sa pagdeliver ng mga sinasabi mo.

ayun lang. maraming salamat ulit sa lahat.
