    @warquezho I just noticed that most of us here had or still having trouble with the speaking section. What I realised after I got my score is, content is not much given emphasis for describe image and re-tell lecture. Tingin ko, mas crucial ang continuous flow of words in getting a higher score. What I suggest is gumawa ng speech template which you can just fill in with the related data from the graph you are describing. Giving conclusions and recommendations can help you to be more fluent, too. Dito naman I suggest na make a standard set of conclusions.....AND MEMORISE IT! Kapag nagkagipitan na and wala na talaga masabi, use your memorised conclusion/recommendation no matter how much unrelated it is to the actual topic. This might sound stupid, but I believe it worked for me.

    Other than that, lahat ng materials that I used came from this forum - those that were shared on previous pages. I have an offline test as well...i'll post the dropbox link once I had the chance to upload it. :)

    This is true.. napansin ko that the content is not much given emphasis.. afterall, for me 40secs is not enought to describe the image/retell the whole lecture.. Sa case ko, there was 1 question with 2 image.. dko pa natatapos yung isang image natapos na ang 40secs.. so far the results is okay naman.

    Thanks for the words of wisdom. Re-tell lecture is also one of the task I need to practice. Medyo hirap kasi ako mag notes, mas ok ba na makinig nalang tapos konting notes? Feel ko kasi mas madami ako nasulat sa ganun. Sa describe image ba puro graphs, chart ito or meron din mga ibang images?

    hello guys, sa mga need iimprove yung describe image skills, i found 2 useful links sa youtube which explains a very simple way of reading a pie chart and a line graph. hope this helps. wag mawalan ng pag-asa. keep on reviewing at makakagraduate din tayo soon with God's help.

    Done with mock test A and it boosted my confidence to get 20 points. hehe. Sana ganito na lang din score ko sa actual or sana mas mataas pa. haha. So far sinunod ko lang mga tips na binigay dito and they're effective. More practice pa ko sa reading.

    I had to try the mock test kasi di ako nakakareview dahil sa work. 20 days to go na lang ako and I'm thinking to resched. pero dahil sa result ng mock test, I'll just review harder na lang during my free time. Sana same level or easier sa actual. hehe

    9.8.2015 - Uploaded SPC and NBI and pictures
    10.6.2015 - Uploaded Form 80
    10.7.2015 - Medical results finalized. All cleared. Thank you Lord!

    10.22.2015 - Golden Email received. Thank you Lord for the VISA grant
    4.11.2016 - Big MOVE to Melbourne
    4.18.2016 - Hubby got a job (Thank you Lord!)
    8.25.2016 - Started looking for a job (If God's will He will provide in the right time)

    hi guys! i've been reading this thread na for 2 days nasa page 40 pa lang ako hehe.Thanks sa mga nagshare ng information and tips dito. Nagregister na ako last night for the November 6 exam. Nagtake ako ng IELTS last June pero sumabit sa Reading and Writing kaya ang option ko lang for now is 489 Visa Relative sponsored. Try ko itong PTE Acad baka sakali makuha ko ang desired score ko.

    February 25, 2015 - ACS Positive Result (ANZSCO 261311)
    June 13, 2015 - Took IELTS Exam (S 7.5,R 6, L 7, W 6)
    August 2, 2015 - Submitted EOI Visa 489 Family Sponsored
    November 6, 2015 - Took PTE-A Exam (L=79,R=73,S=69,W=84
    November 7, 2015 - Submitted EOI Visa 189 (60 pts.)
    February 3, 2016 - Received 189 ITA
    February 20, 2016 - Lodged Visa 189
    March 2, 2016 - CO GSM Adelaide
    March 5, 2015 - Medicals at Nationwide Makati
    March 8, 2016 - Medicals cleared
    April 6, 2016 - Visa Grant

    @bait0211 thanks! Unexpected tlga ung nakakuha si hubby ng mataas. We are aiming for 10 at masya na kme. Sbi ko kay hubby pag naka 10 sya masya nko..pag 20 mas masya pero no pressure sbi ko. Thankful tlga kme kay Lord for guiding us and giving wisdom

    Taas na ng score hi hubby mo sa mock pa lang, no doubt na maka 20 points talaga siya hehe. Congratulations!

    Batch ano hubby mo pumasok sa college? Baka ka batch ko siya hehehe.
