Are we supposed to include middle name when registering for PTE test?

For example if you have 2 first names and a middle name

Should you include all 3 names in Given Name?
Would it cause issues with future visa applications if you don’t?

Yes. Dahil ang only accepted na identification ng exam taker ay Passport. Every detail should match to it.
Kung di ka pa nkakapag register, you can write your middle name on the space given after writing your first name.

Kung nakapagregister ka naman na, you can email pearson that you need to edit your personal information. That would not be a problem.

Waaahh sa wakas naka superior din! Grabe naka 4 takes ako bago ko naitawid! makakapahinga na din ang bulsa ko sa gastos! Salamat sa mga tips na nabasa ko dito, sobrang laking tulong. Sa mga mag take pa lang, sundin nyo lang mga sinasabi ng iba dito lalo na yung mga matataas nakuha. Kung nalaman ko lang sana ang thread na ito nung umpisa pa lang baka sana di ako naka 4 tries. Anyway kwento ko na din dito experience ko and some tips baka may maitulong sa mga mag take pa lang:

1st take: L77 R83 S84 W77 (Mar29)
2nd take: L87 R77 S75 W86 (May9)
3rd take: L77 R90 S88 W83 (May22)
4th take: L84 R83 S80 W89 (Jun)

First try, si E2 lang talaga guide ko, proven ng asawa ko si e2 and reviewed for about a week only (naka 90 siya sa lahat ng types)

Second try, E2 pa rin main guide ko, while reviewing, I discovered this thread, last 2 days I decided to follow Jimmyssem for DI and RL. Di naging effective para sa akin template nya kasi ang ginawa ko, during RA, sinusulat ko ang template nya kaso dahil sa pressure, may mga nakalimutan ako. In the end, nag suffer pati RA ko kasi di ko na na practice basahin kasi nagsusulat ako ng template for DI and RL

Third try, this time I changed my guide for DI and RL to Apeuni. Mas effective ito para sa akin kasi mas madali I memorize para sa akin.. Ok na sana kaso ang dami kong items sa RS na hindi maintindihan. Actually medyo confident ako sa listening kasi while preparing, halos nakukuha ko naman lahat ng practice questions from Jimmyssem and MoniPTE, kaso during the exam, for some reason ang daming items na puro garbled yung simula ng sentence kaya nag suffer listening ko..

For the fourth try, Halos di ko na nireview yung ibang exam types, puro RS and WFD from Jimmyssem and MoniPTE's youtube channels na lang ginawa ko plus 2 mock exams from apeuni para maalala ko yung flow ng exam.

Things to consider. ang layout ng room ay 5 per side, 15 per room kung madali kayo ma distract I suggest iwasan nyo ang numbers na masasandwich kayo in between other people, kaya IMO the numbers to get are:
1,5,6,10,11,15
16,20,21,25,26,30
31,35,36,40,41,45
46,50,51,55,60

Another thing to consider, kung kukuha kayo ng number, I suggest ang kunin nyo ay either numbers, 1, 16, 31, 46 or something close to it para kaunahan kayo sa room. pag nag start kayo, di pa masyado maingay. kasi may instance na ang nakuha ko ay 30, so last ako sa room, nagtetest pa lang ako ng audio ang dami ko nang naririnig na nagsasalita.

haha parang lotto lang ah :P anyway yung last tips ay based sa observation ko lang, bahala na lang kayo kung susundin nyo hehe!

Hi po! Silent reader lang ako dito para makakuha ng tips at lakas ng loob bilang first take po namin. Gusto ko din magshare ngayon dahil laking tulong talaga ng forum na to. Kahapon po yung exam namin June 7, 7pm. Kasabay ko yung husband ko mag take. Ako po yung need maka superior (79+) , siya yung competent (50+). Halos di kami nakatulog waiting for the results...

I got 90 overall
L 88, R 90, S 90, W 84

Si husband got 78 overall
L 73, R 81, S 79, W 75

Di ako makapaniwala na maka 90 pa. 3 weeks lang po kami nag review kasi hinintay pa namin lumabas yung positive results ng skill assessment (na hindi din kami confident talaga) bago nag asikaso ng PTE. Sabi ng agent namin asikasuhin daw namin agad bago mag end ng June para makapasa kami agad ng EOI dahil baka daw may changes na mangyari after June. Originally, June 14 po kami pero nung medyo familiar na kami sa exam format, nireschedule namin ng June 7 para mas maaga makuha ang results.

1st week po, nanood muna kami ng videos ni Jimmysem para mafamiliarize sa exam format and type of questions. Nagbasa din po ako ng mga recent experiences dito and ginamit ko po yung guide para alam ko kung san kami dapat mag focus bilang limited lang time namin and overwhelming din yung amount of info na pwede aralin. 2nd week nag sign up na po kami sa APE Uni para mag practice. Share lang kami sa isang account and hiraman ng headset. Di po kami consistent everyday bilang full time working mom po ako (pregnant pa with morning sickness haha) and then si husband busy din sa training nya sa work. Bumabawi po kami sa weekends and pag mga gabi na kaya pa ng energy, nag rereview ako til 2am or 3am. Si husband po nagpapractice ng repeat sentence habang nagdadrive. Habang naliligo yung anak ko, nagrereview din ako. Halos puro mock tests na kami ng 3rd week.

Nag avail po ako ng Bronze Package sa pearson website for mock tests. Yung 1st mock test kinuha ko lang nung Tuesday, June 6 ng 2am. Bagsak lahat haha medyo kinabahan ako pero naisip ko baka kulang lang ng pahinga. True enough, June 7 ng morning tinake ko yung 2nd mock test - pasado ang Listening (87) , Reading (85) and Speaking (90) pero yung writing kulang ng 2 points (77) kasi nadistract ako sa anak ko during write from dictation. Pero because of this, medyo confident na ko. Nag relax na ko after the mock test. Umidlip pa ko bago kami magpunta sa Trident.

Ito po yung strategy na ginawa ko per question type:

RA - practice via APE Uni and kahit walang accent basta malinaw ang pagkabasa. Naalala ko may mga mali ako siguro 2-3 words pero direcho lang kahit nagkamali. May instance pa na parang gumaralgal boses ko pero direcho pa din ako sa pagbasa.

RS - practice via APE Uni. Initially dami namin lagi mali dito pero eventually nasanay din kami. Tsaka sa actual exam di po ganon kahaba mga natapat sa akin. May mga mali din ako na 2 items pero tinuloy tuloy ko lang din. Di po ako nag nonotes or write the initials lang kasi magsasuffer naman yung fluency ko. So internalize lang po ang strategy ko dito.

DI and RL - buhay na patotoo din kami ng jimmyssem templates! haha! hirap kami mag memorize nung una pero thru practice naalala ko din. Nung unang mga practice, nagtatry pa ako isulat yung template during RA pero eventually di ko na din kinailangan. Feeling ko nahila neto yung mga scores ko kahit may mali ako sa RS and RA.

ASQ - practice din via APE uni. Answers na po agad chinecheck ko para tipid sa oras, nabasa ko yung tip na yan dito.

SWT - "Albeit s1; but, s2; therefore, s3." Minamaximize ko yung oras at dinodouble check ko yung grammar and spelling kasi yun yung mga usual mali ko during practice. Make sure din na pasok sa 50-70 words.

WE - di na po kami gumamit ng template dito kasi di ko na po kaya imemorize. Memory full na. Haha! Pero finollow ko yung tip ni e2 language tungkol sa structure. Tapos nakita ko din dito yung template from APE uni and kumuha ako ng ilan tips like citing articles or mention ng scientists ganyan. Medyo confident kami dito kasi maganda yung scores namin during practice. Last 2 minutes dedicated to review spelling and grammar.

RW FIB, MC, RP - practice din via APE uni. pero di na ko masyado naka focus dito. Context lang talaga. May mga nagtip na di na need basahin yung buo pero minsan kung kaya naman ng oras binabasa ko pa din para sure lang ako na tama pagkakaintindi ko. Although important din talaga to manage your time kasi hirap din pag nagmamadali na sa bandang huli.

SST - nakuha ko din yung template dito: "The speaker was mainly discussing..." tapos double check lang din yung grammar and spelling and kung pasok sa limit. nagtatype na ko directly sa textarea kesa mag notes.

WFD - nagtatype din ako dito vs notes. and di ko nabubuo yung first few words tapos inaayos ko nalang pagkatapos ng audio. double check din spelling and grammar. Ginawa ko din yung tip ni jimmysem na isulat yung ibang words kung kunwari hindi sure kung past tense ba or plural.

The rest ng listening nakinig lang talaga ako mabuti and remembered the context.

Maingay po talaga during reading section pero focus lang talaga. Maganda naman yung headset nila so kahit papano nafifilter yung bg noise. Sa totoo lang mas maingay at distracting pa din yung anak ko kesa sa bg noise dun sa PTE room haha. Medyo nabother din ako sa mask pero mukhang di naman nakasagabal sa speaking ko. Proven din namin na mababa nga magscore si APE Uni compared sa actual test so wag po kayo madiscourage kung mababa makuha nyo na score during practice. 78 lang highest kong overall score sa APE uni.

I agree din na important ang complete sleep and rest before the exam. Si husband medyo nag cramming pa nung actual day and sabi nya namental block daw sya and nahirapan tandaan yung mga templates namin. Pero salamat sa Dios pasado pa din naman.

Yes po clear po dapat, usually ang sound ng may "ed" parang may "t" sa dulo . Tapos yung plural or may "s" sa dulo, according to jimmysem, usually "z" ang sound. One more tip po pala sa Read Aloud, nakatulong sa akin yung hand gestures. Nakuha ko din kay Jimmysem. Minsan kasi gigil or nagmamadali ako magbasa, kapag gumagamit ako ng hand gestures, mas maganda yung pacing and mas conscious ako so less error.

How does this compare to real PTE test? Do I have a good chance on real PTE test to get superior?

I was surprised with the speaking results - I don't know why I scored low there, I mostly followed templates but I took a hit on DI and RL.

I followed Jimmysem and Milestone Study templates for DI and RL.

After po magsubmit ng skills assessment application.
While waiting for the result (12 weeks kasi for ACS), nagbook na ako ng PTE exam and nagstart magreview.

Ako while waiting po for the skills assessment I am currently reviewing na for PTE. Hindi pa ako nag bo-book ng exam pero ang target ko is mid week or last week of July.

I just tried this - using the same DI. With Jimmysem's template I got 53, with the APEUni template I got 89! Definitely biased lol

Same thing happened to me on one of my mock tests from PTE. I'd say just go back to practicing, take as many APEUni mock tests as you can, then do another PTE mock test after a while. Don't know if it's a glitch, if I really performed poorly, or maybe tech problems, but the next PTE mock test I scored high again. Lol, moody sya.

Inuna ko PTE kasi it is the fastest to obtain. In 1 week pag masigasig review mo, you can ace it. I got it on my 2nd try kasi hindi 1 week preparation ko before nyeehehehe.

Goodluck! (I tried PTE to be checked from the list ASAP kasi mas mabusisi ang skills assessment.)

I used the template of apeuni for DI and RL, its not working anymore. I have full marks for RA and RS on the skills profile. NAKAKAINIS.

Might sound biased pero I used to be a former student turned instructor sa Niner (IELTS lang tho pero dito na ako sa Oz nagturo ng PTE). If feel mo di mo kaya self review then go for it. Pina attend ako ng PTE review nila before kasi supposedly magtuturo ako (so I can learn the structure and teach it on our branch para uniform ang style ng different branches) - it's well structured and maganda ang feedback coaching ng niners. Yan ang pinaka sulit dyan.

Finally got the results 6 hours after the test.. Worth it! Ok makakatulog na haha
