hello everyone, the photos i posted show my current scores from mock tests using apeuni, along with my real exam score. unfortunately, i didn’t reach my desired score of 65 overall and in each band. i’m practicing every day now, but i just want some validation because there are times when i feel like giving up :(

after not getting my desired score, i enrolled in PTE Magic and took their essential course for 2 weeks. i’m currently using their templates for DI, RL, and SWT. for the writing essay section, i’m using the jimmyssem template since that’s the one i’ve really mastered. (so far naboost naman score ko sa speaking gamit tips and tricks nila during mock test compare sa dati)

during my first attempt, i used jimmyssem templates po for DI and RL but my trainers said it sounded like listing . they told me that the score relied on fluency and pronunciation to avoid sounding like a list. however, i don’t want to rely on jimmyssem anymore since my speaking score was only 56.

i’d like to ask if it’s possible to score 70+ in the real exam, like i’ve been getting in my mock tests with apeuni? my last real exam was in july, and since then, i’ve been practicing a lot, especially on the speaking and listening sections because those were my lowest scores. my reading and writing were barely passing as well.

i’m looking for any comments or suggestions and also some motivation po since the pte exam is expensive.![]!

    current scores from apeuni []

    real exam score [july 2024]

Not sure lang kung worth it. I got 71 overall sa una kong take and I need 79 on each. Mababa ako sa speaking and listening. Probably because of RS. Thanks!

And for me, okay yung materials and sessions nila. And mas naging confident ako sa tips and templates nila. Kasi structured and may sense yung templates.

1.Anong araw and time ba usually kokonti ang nag eexam sa ACE Makati? Mas better ba sa University of Baguio?

    First take:
    Date: December 2023
    Exam Hub: Misnet
    Score: 71 (Competent)
    What I did:
    -I underestimated the exam
-I was getting to many tips from youtube
-Followed Jimmyssem templates for DI, RL, Essay
-2 months preparation (1 month familiarization, 1 month semi serious preparation)
    -Subscribed 1 month APEUNI
-Just took 4 Mock Tests from APEUNI
-Did not practice much on repeat sentence because it frustrates me
-In speaking, I was too loud kasi yung kasabay ko malakas boses, so I thought kailangan malakas din. I was so wrong.
    -I prayed, too.

    Second take:
    Date: Feb 8 2025
    Exam Hub: Ace Makati
    Score: 89 (Superior)
    What I did:
    -I took the exam seriously
-3 months preparation (2 months speaking section practices, 1 month serious prep)
-Enrolled at PTE Magic for a more structured studying (Materials and tips are very effective)
    -Subscribe 3 months from Apeuni
-Focused on my weakness talaga by practicing on Speaking such as RS and RA (medium to hard from apeuni)
-Focused practicing on Reading, practiced medium to hard FIB RW
-For WFD, i considered my RS practice as WFD practice. So, not much practice na dito (just the Mock Tests)
-Did not practice much on less impactful sections such as RO, RL, HIW (just the Mock Tests)
-Templates used for DI/RL: Customized based on my understanding and easy memorization (APEUNI + PTE Magic)
-Observed higher pitch speaking voice kasi low pitch ako naturally.
-Also, for RA, para mukhang fluent, isang mahabang inhale and hold breath bago mag salita. Para tuluy tuloy ang pagbasa. Also tried to pronounce every word correctly
-Most important realization: Take atleast 10 mocktests consistently in a week before the exam. If your aiming for Superior score, atleast consistent na 79 and above yung itarget sa APEUNI.
-Para di saying pera, mag take ng Pearson Offical Mock Test na you are not familiar with to check your readiness before mag book. I got same score from Official Mock test sa actual (89)
-Prayed really hard for a comfortable exam environment, for easy set of questions, and a superior score. I Thank God for answering  my prayer and for St. Jude for praying with me and for me.
-ACE Makati experience: Booked 4:15pm session Saturday, 3 lang kami so not distracting. Thank God.

-Did not practice much on repeat sentence because it frustrates me

Thank God.

hello everyone, the photos i posted show my current scores from mock tests using apeuni, along with my real exam score. unfortunately, i didn’t reach my desired score of 65 overall and in each band. i’m practicing every day now, but i just want some validation because there are times when i feel like giving up :(

after not getting my desired score, i enrolled in PTE Magic and took their essential course for 2 weeks. i’m currently using their templates for DI, RL, and SWT. for the writing essay section, i’m using the jimmyssem template since that’s the one i’ve really mastered.

    (https://pinoyau.info/uploads/editor/as/poscbo6ppakg.png "")

    real exam score [july 2024]

Not sure lang kung worth it. I got 71 overall sa una kong take and I need 79 on each. Mababa ako sa speaking and listening. Probably because of RS. Thanks!

And for me, okay yung materials and sessions nila. And mas naging confident ako sa tips and templates nila. Kasi structured and may sense yung templates.

Ok will try PTE Magic. Nasayang din yung pag-enrol ko sa Niners two years back due to other priorities.

An exam will only be easy based on the amount of time you put into your preparation, the study materials you have in place and understanding the test patterns. For those who have limited time to study or have taken this exam more than twice, I will advice you to reach out to spiralxbinuclease on instagram. They are my go to whenever I have a professional exam scheduled.

Hi guys, newbie here and just started practicing and watching tips from different sources.

Quick question for those who achieved a superior mark—were you fluent with a wide vocabulary in English from the beginning, or did it take a lot of practice to get there?

Laging kinakapos ng 1 or 2pts. I haven't been dependent on chatgpt o kahit anong AI kasi sa curriculum naman sa pinas dati, okay ang textbook english. Importante yung coherence, kasi may nabasa akong write essay template nun although highfalutin words mostly ang ginamit, walang essence eh haha sorry.

For the rest of the test sections--familiarity (which you can get by regular practice) and focus doing test day are keys.

I think speaking is one of the areas I need to work on, especially RA and RS. Did you manage to get a perfect score or at least 79 pts in those sections in APEUni practice tests? Struggling a bit, so any advice would be really helpful 🙏

My last attempt for listening and writing, yes. Nakakatawa nga kasi yan lang 2 prinactice ko that time since yan yung mababa ko. Hindi ko na sila naperfect sabay sabay. 😆

Mas mahirap daw mock tests ng APEUni compared to actual test based sa mga previous comments dito. Sa essay, I suggest using compound sentences.

O ganon sila lahat? Hahaha.

Parang ganyan talage set up ng mga testing center. Pero may tip ako sayo, kumuha ka ng schedule na Mondays-Fridays baka maka tsamba ka ng schedule na wala masyadong nag papabook, kasi in my case when I took my third exam tatlo lang po kami nagtake ng exam kaya sobrang chill ng exam ko nung last kaya siguro nakakuha ako ng superior.

Yung dalawang exam ko kasi puro sabado yung schedule ko kasi nga may work ako mon-fri pero yun nga sobrang dami nagpapabook pag sabado. Kaya try mo weekdays baka matymingan mo ikaw lang mag isa sa testing room.
