    @Khaosan_Road, nakapag open ka na po ng Goal Saver account sa Commonwealth?
    madali lang ba sir?
    I opened goal saver prior to entering australia - dito nami na transfer yung savings namin from SG - basta may additional $200 per month you can get the bonus rate - currently around 4.4% ata sya PA (including the bonus rate)

    Not a bad deal na considering yung savings account namin sa SG is just earning 0.25% ata... :)
    @psychoboy, wala nman po ba penalty kung d mahulugan ng $200?
    Wala naman - mababa lang ang interest rate mo for the month though, .75% instead of yung 4.4%...

    @dakz - that I dunno Sir... Pure savings lang talaga namin ang goal saver; gagamitin iyan for the rainy days...

    But, I reckon 0.75% din cguro ang interest mo if you go beyond the one transaction per month.

    I just remember .. you might want to invest on those light and durable big luggage ... im sure magagamit nyo ng husto yung ... if we were to turn the time back we would kasi nasisira na yung mga nabili namin e .. e tipong almost every year nag ooverseas kami kaya ayun we need to buy another one

    patulong naman po. until now d ko pa rin sure kung paano magdadala ng money sa AU.
    parang si @Khorups ata ng funds transfer from overseas bank to AU bank pero di ko pa po sure yung process na ito. can you guys enlighten me please?
    may nabasa din ako na delikado magdala ng big amount of AU Cash so ayoko naman itake yung risk na yun.

    Tama po ba etong steps na ito?
    1. Open an account online while still here in the Philippines (NAB) - Free of charge po ba ito?
    2. Ipaconvert ang pera from Peso to AUD
    3. Itransfer ang pera in AUD sa NAB (pero paano po ittransfer sa NAB?)
    4. Then during our flight to AU, magdala lang po ng enough money and wag magdadala ng malaking amount?

    d naman kakapkapin ang wallet nyo e kung inde nyo ideclare .... opo wala pong manghahablot dito ...

    kung takot kayo manakawan kinubukasan after nyo dumating dito i deposito nyo yung kalahati sa bangko na gusto nyo .... sa akin lang mas maganda mag open dito kasi makakapili kayo ng bangko na maganda

    basta po declared wala naman problema dun...

    kapag may dala kayo tapos nde declared tapos nalaman nila, dun magkakaproblema... watch border security para may idea po kayo..
