    Hello! Advisable ba ang mag stay muna sa hotel/motel or transient if ever wala pang nakukuhang bahay/room pagdating sa Au? Anong ayos na hotel?
    Maganda ang hotel (assuming maayos naman ito) but the only BIG PROBLEM I can see here is the cost implication; super mahal ng mga hotels dito... A basic one in Melbourne with shared bathroom (and it was VERY small) cost us $70 per day.

    Pag pr naba, madali na ba or agad2 pwede mo sama mother mo for tourist visa na 1 year stay?

    Nabasa ko somewhere here na walang bayad ang visa label pag sa Oz ka kumuha, tama ba? Saan nga po puede kumuha ng visa label sa melbourne?
    @jengrata, Yes free lg mgpavisa label sa OZ, just find the nearest DIAC centre on your place, send your passport together a letter stating that you want a visa label. At after 5 days they will send back ur passport my visa label na.. Ang mail lg babayaran mo, use registered post pra ma track mo kng nareciv ng Diac or wla.. Yan ang ginawa namin sa passport ng mum, dad and 3 siblings ko..

    maybe try Airbnb... d ko pa to na eexplore pero check ko rin to soon kc yung tutuluyan ko eh he's moving out so homless din ako pagdating ko hehe.

    Was this done before November 24, 2012? Because based on the DIAC site after the said date we need to pay $70 for a visa label (there are a few exempted visa classes though).

    Yup hindi sya free... Beginning Dec 2012 (around this date), they implemented a fee of $70 for this.

    @peach17..kaya nagcharge na ang oz sa visa label to encourage everyone to use their electronic system which is the VEVO..

    06-01-11: Arrived Australia (457 visa dependent on my dad)
    28-05-12: Lodged RSMS 857 visa (seperate from my dad already)
    28-06-12: Done Medical check
    30-10-12: Submit AFP check
    07-11-12: Went home on a bridging visa B for holiday and wedding..:)
    12-01-13: CO allocated and nomination approved
    18-01-13: CO asked documents of my husband to be included on my application as migrating dependent..Thank u LORD!
    15-02-13: Husband completed all requirements (police check, medical, english requirements and joint statement)
    15-02-13: CO issued pre-grant letter instructing hubby to apply tourist visa to enter Australia in order our 857 visa to be granted.
    27-02-13: Hubby applied Subclass 676 tourist visa.
    06-03-13: Hubby's tourist visa approved.
    16-03-13: Hubby arrived Australia.
    18-03-13: Our RSMS 857 visa granted.. (nothing to ask more)

    @peach17..matagal na ang VEVO..hndi lg ginagamit ng mga visa holder.. kaya cla sumingil na sa visa label pra hndi na tayo mgpa visa label at VEVO na lg ang gamitin..
