    @icebreaker1928 1PM kasi start ng seminar.. so before lunch dapat nandun na kayo. mejo madami din tao pero mostly naman mga for US. yung sakin nun.. less than 10 lang ata kami.. tapos magkasama na dun New Zealand. Isama nyo na din anak nyo bata for sure.

    sabi sa website ng australian embassy as of June 1 hindi na kailangan ang visa label, problema ko kasi one week lang ako sa pinas bago punta australia. gaano ba katagal visa labeling and pwede ba walk-in o need ng appointment?

    pwede walk-in, kelangan mo rin magpatatak sa cfo, hindi ata kaya ang 1 week mo kasi at least 1 week ang visa labeling...

    sa australian website pwede, pero ewan ko lang sa IO natin kung pwede na walang visa label...

    tinawagan ko VIA Centre about Visa label, they said no need for evidencing. Ask ko lang sa mga visa grantees, nagpa visa label pa po ba kayo?

    ano po ginawa nyo? pumunta lang kayo directly sa VIA Centre? ano pong documents ang pinasa nyo aside from passports?

    Reply to @mikaela01: passport, visa grant documents at pera... alam na nila gagawin dun... usually mga 1 wk tapos thru courier nila papadala yung passport mo na may tatak na... ako sabi ko pickup kasi lagi wala tao sa bahay... pumayag naman... tapos tetext ka nila kung pede mo na kunin...

    Galing po ako dun kahapon. Sayang time and pinang-taxi ko. :) No need for visa label, yun mga visa grantees from June 1. Kahit gusto niyo, hindi kayo lalagyan visa label. :) Titignan nila sa visa grant letter mo un visa grant date. Just present daw yun print out ng visa grant letter mo. Okay na yun.

May nabasa ako dito sa forum dati na nagpunta sila ng CFO ng walang visa label tapos sinabihan sila nung tao sa CFO na June 1, 2012 pa yung pwedeng wala nang visa label for CFO stamping. Tawag na rin kayo sa CFO para mas sure.
    sayang naman yung visa label.ganda pa naman tignan na may Au visa label yung passport mo. :)

    thanks @bryann and @k_mavs for this very important info. So basically upon visa grant, wala na obligations with Pinas or anything? Bsta ang next step lang is mag-ipon, benta mga stuff here, book flights to AU and pack our luggages? hehe

    yung visa stamp, di na nga kelangan for visa granted from June 1, 2012 onwards according to the Australian embassy.
    yung CFO, buti nabasa ko dito, may ganun pala.

    Reply to @hotshot: Pag may visa ka na and it's a PR visa you need to have your passport stamped with the CFO sticker. Magkakaproblem ka kasi sa immigration dito sa Pinas during your departure.
