Philippine Bachelor degree equivalent to an Australian Bachelor- ICT ?

Hi guys,

I went to the University of South Eastern Philippines Davao and completed a 4 year Bachelor degree of Computer Technology.

Does anyone know if this is directly equivalent to an Australian Bachelor degree? I and my wife are preparing for our application for PR either thru 189 or 190.

Also, does my wife needs to prove that she has a functional English? She has taken an ielts way back december 2014 in Philippines.

Any insights will be greatly appreciated!

    See if your school falls on section 1, Courses from schools that fall under section 1 is automatically equivalent to an Australian Bachelor degree.

    My school ranked #2. It means it is not equivalent to aussie bachelor. And I can only get 10 points for my education qualification for points test?

    I have additional concern, my wife needs to take an ielts as my dependent in visa 189 or 190? based on www.border.gov.au she needs to provide an evidence that she is functional English.? Tama po ba ako?

    Currently, nasa aussie po kami with my wife and daughter. do we still need to get an nbi philippines or police clearance dito sa aussie na po?

    Yes and you can search for the meaning of the school and section. I would like to advise to use the search on top , i think these are common questions that has been addressed on the past.

    @leelazaro as you have mentioned po your wife took IELTS. The result is valid for 3years. She only needs a minimum of 6 in each category.
