Thank you po. I'm keeping my fingers crossed na sana express grant, parang yung isang member na grant letter agad 2 days after submitting her application. He he. I made sure to provide all the required documentations and I did my medicals na rin naman prior to lodgement.

@appledeuce I didn't know it was okay to undergo medical before passing the application :O I've been told that I should wait for the medical advise from the embassy. Anyway , did you do the application by yourself lang?

    Hi guys,

Sa mga nakapagfile na ng visa application, anong acknowledgment ang nareceive nyo from PIASI that the Aus Embassy has received your docs? By email ba or by SMS?

    Sorry naman define excited/anxious.

@asdfghjklqwerty I did get an SMS from PIASI then an email from Aus Embassy acknowledging receipt of application docs yesterday around 5pm hehe. Thanks!

"Also,  we  are unable to expedite processing of visa applications unless it
is  for emergencies such as medical emergencies, urgent business travels or
death/funerals in the family which will require evidence"

I just had my medicals today and I'm kind of worried. Ni-declare ko kasi exposure to TB patients kasi Nurse ako and totoo naman talaga na na-expose although shempre standard protective measures were used and practiced.

Tanong lang ako if anyone were in the same situation and if naging cause ba ito ng delay sa visa nyo?

    "Dear xyz,

Your visa application has been received at the Visa Office of the Australian Embassy Manila on 14 February 2014.

We have noted that you have valid  medical test results already hence,no new examination will be ordered for this process"

Sa mga nagpamedical na before lodging their application, pag sinabi pong ganyan ibig bang sabihin definitely hindi na mare refer sa MOC yung medical results?

My golly banana, waiting is not good for the heart. :/

@asdfghjklqwerty In my case, I declared that I have asthma pero hindi naman active. Ayun, tumagal ang visa result ko kasi they referred my medicals to Global Health/ MOC. :)

@appledeuce Hi and thank you for your informative response.

I took IELTS din before through IDP and okay naman din ang experience. Mababa lang ang required score back then which is 5.5 pero ngayon, hndi ko na alam. Sayang kasi eh. Anyway, what are the chances na madecline ang student visa application kung okay nmn na ung application sa school/university/institution na papasukan, meaning paid na ung tuition fees? And what are the reasons kung bakit nadedecline? I'm afraid kasi na baka idecline ung visa ko kasi certificate course for Photo Imaging lang ang itetake ko. :-/

@asdfghjklqwerty You can ask for extension to your school if ever na matagal ang visa result mo. They will consider it for sure. Dadating din yan. Have patience and faith. :)

Thank you so much. Ask ko lang if how long bago mo nalaman na referred yung medical results mo?

Anyway, what are the chances na madecline ang student visa application kung okay nmn na ung application sa school/university/institution na papasukan, meaning paid na ung tuition fees? And what are the reasons kung bakit nadedecline? I'm afraid kasi na baka idecline ung visa ko kasi certificate course for Photo Imaging lang ang itetake ko. :-/
Yup, depende sa course and education provider mo ang min. required IELTS score, if any.

I suggest that you read the GTE criteria to guide you in creating your statement of purpose. :)
    http://www.immi.gov.au/students/_pdf/2011-genuine-temporary-entrant.pdf

For non-SVP student visa, you will be required to show adequate proof of funds from valid sources. Failure to do so is one of the usual reasons for refusal. Pero ang pinaka hurdle talaga is satisfying the GTE criteria, which is so subjective imo. I'm sure IDP should be able to help you with this, given their experience.

If you have plans of getting a PR visa eventually, you may want to look at taking a course that's on or leads to an occupation in the SOL/CSOL. :) di ko sure kung merong photo imaging-related.

    Good luck po. :)

@amedina Ohmy..
Good luck

    John 14:14

Loving Lord! The Scripture says that You are aware of all our needs, even before we ask You. So I come to You and place this request at Your loving hands. You know how desperate I am for getting the Visa. My soul has become weary and anxious over this delay in getting the visa .O Lord! Speak in the hearts of the concerned officials, grant me favour in their eyes and help me to get my visa on time so that my purpose is fulfilled. Perfect everything for me my Master. I wait at Your feet and trust in You to make this possible. I know that You will do it for You will never let Your children down. I thank You for listening to my plea! To You alone be all honour and glory. In the sweet name of Jesus I pray.Amen.

@Siopao23 hi. I'm also thinking of requesting for the results of my medical checkup from NHSI. Nasubmit na nila sa DIBP yung resultsband ang nakalagay sa immiaccount ko, kung may additional exams needed, the case officer will let me know. I don't think I have anything bad naman pero parang natatakot din akong malaman yung results for some reason.

@Siopao23 Thank you for the suggestion. I am yet to seek advise from counsellor tomorrow. My worry is that the panel doctor told me na sometimes kahit daw cleared naman at okay yung x-ray results, the fact na may recent exposure, baka daw maging issue parin. :((

Nga po pala, sa mga nakareceive ng grant/refusal letter, kasama po ba yung documents that you provided dun sa contents ng package na natanggap nyo (e.g. bank statements, academic transcripts etc) Tried googling pero wala akong nakitang sagot for this. Thanks.
