@mykaelangelo05 kapag approved na ang nomination at wala ng hininging required documents mabilis na. ung sa akin nagrant after 5 days na maapproved ung nomination. im not sure lang kapag dumaan sa agency.

congrats po sa lahat ng na Grant for the Visa

anyway, i would like to suggest and seek an advice regarding my Scenario.

I am in a mist of my 457 Visa application. however, I still need to have an Skills Interview assessment and Practical Assessement to be assess by William Anglis on April 05,07 2016 at Lyceum. Btw, i am applying for a Chef Position in Sydney.

In line with this, i just had my IELTS exam yesterday (02APR16). everything went well naman and i hope makakuha ng okay na score.

We are group of Chefs that would be working under 457 Visa. It has a program to be followed. They will provide our accommodation for a month only in SYD, after that we should find an accommodation.

I asked the employer, sabi niya, wala sa program kasi na family status ung process kasi may accommodation kami once pag dating.

She suggested na after ko mag settle down for a while sa SYD, chaka ako mag lodge nang visa for them. hindi ba ako mas mapapamahal?

or, pwde rin ba na isabay ko lang sila sa lodge ng visa, pero after that hindi ko muna sila isasabay sa pag alis ko. gano katagal bago mag expire ang visa for dependent?

target mobilization ng employer for the Chefs is September 2016 since nasa 8 Chefs kami na under 457 Visa.

@johnadrielle_santos Hello! for you to be able to include your family members as dependent on your 457 visa - once approved ka na. They term this as "Subsequent Entrant". You need to secure a letter from your employer stating that they are extending their sponsorship to your dependents. Only until you have this letter can you apply for subsequent entrant 457 visa.

Yes this will cost you more as you will be paying a base fee for the main applicant. so more or less same fee nung 457 visa mo.

In my case, after I have received my grant, I automatically applied for my dependents visa. It took me just a month to receive their grant and the visa they got had the same expiry period as mine.

@johnadrielle_santos hello! yung case ko naman sabay kami nagprocess ni partner ng visa, dependent ko siya. about sa cost, sagot lahat ng employer ko eh.

@aanover thanks kc ung case ko hindi ko alam kung kailan nilodge application ko pero sinabihan lang ko pasado ko sa vetassess ng march 2 ngfollow up ko sa agency ko sa makati ang sabi wait lang dw ako for medical sana meron ng update papers ko.

@mykaelangelo05 457 visa ka ba? Kasi I dont think required ang skills assessment for 457 visa applicant. yung 457 visa, usually takes 3 months to get finalized. If yung agency mo binigyan ka nya nung Transaction Number mo, you can create an immi account(https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/login) tapos import mo yung application mo to view the status! GoodLuck

@mykaelangelo05 2-3 months ang standard processing nila for high-risk country like ours (source: au immigration website). Almost 2 months na yung sa akin, wala pa rin approval kahit nomination.

And I think may paghihigpit din sila sa ilang specific roles kaya ung iba umaabot pa ng more than 3 months

@Moxie ano ba occupation mo? sabi samin ni employer agent dati, wag isabay yung pag pasa ng nomination sa pag lodge ng visa namin, mas okay ata pag ganun. kaya 7working days lang naapprove na yung nomination samen ng partner ko.

@aanover oo kasi welder po kc inapplyan ko sabi ng ksama na nkapasa inaantay pa dw ung approval ng nomination saka di ako mkahingi ng transaction number kahit nga ung result ng vetassess ska n dw ako bibigyan kapag nasa australia n dw

@Moxie sken din mas matagl pa kesa sayo, nka 3 months na ata ako ksi yung akin was lodged by my employer jan 1st week pa po. pro last week nagupdate smen ung immi at nghihingi lng ng iba pang docs. bka my kulang or my need kpa ipasa na need nila.. si @sheril ksi complete requirements agad, kaya napadali, tska my trend lately na naghihigpit sila sa mga work for IT industry na 457 visa eh kaya mabagal sa ngaun

@newboy pero effective din ata yung di kayo sabay nag lodge ng employer mo. mas okay na mauna yung nomination nila bago ka maglodge ng visa mo. saka mas mabilis kung sa Australia agad pinaprocess, di dito sa pinas haha

@sheril Online Product Manager ako so Marketing Specialist ni-nominate nila sa akin. Nag search ako sa net e naghihigpit sila sa role na to and nanghihingi ng maraming proof na genuine position sa employer.

Si Migration Agent nagpasa yata ng nomination and visa app ko, and sa Australia sila nag lakad. Nauna ang nomination, pero wala pa din.

@newboy according sa MA ko complete na daw docs ko and decision-ready, pero talagang DIBP take their time reaching a decision. Cross kasi ng IT and Marketing role ko so baka din bagong concept sa immigration dept un kaya todo pag usisa.

Sana ma approve na tayo. Resigned na ko sa work ko since March 1 e. Medyo nauubos na ang household budget since locally unemployed ako.

Wala pang balita yung akin. Nag invoke na ng Freedom of Information rights si employer para at least malaman ano yung case notes. Naiinip na din sila e.

@Moxie salamat! same company ksi ako, bale yung employer ko sa pinas sila din employer ko sa Au kaya HR nmen sa AU ang nagprocess ng lahat, wla nmn nabanggit HR nmen kung my agent pro parang wla ksi ako na pinaglodge ng visa eh, tpos hingi nlng dw ako ng tulong pag kailangan. maapprove din yan Pray lng!

@Moxie regarding ielts, sa 457 ndi nmn siya need as long as my certficate ka na nag school ka for 5 years na ang medium of instruction ay english. mgppmedical pa lng ako siguro sa saturday
