@sheril ako nagbayad ng hmo ko e pero naginclude sila ng clause na if d ko na kaya magbayad ng hmo, sasaluhin nila until kaya ko na uli. Ewan, bahala na. Ayaw din pumayag ni employer maglagay ng repatriation talaga e kasi ibig sabihin dapat lahat din ng 457 nila dun may ganun din benefit.

Anong oras ang maaga? And how long yung process inabot total?

@sheril @aanover omg nagrerequire na sila ng POLO verification thingy sa mga direct hires kahit professional. Grabe hassle! Currently waiting for the director para makapag-appeal ako since wala naman sa website requirements nila to.

@Moxie ay, di ko alam. pero parang may nabasa ko na case to case basis yung POLO depende ata sa work mo, kahit professional ka. pero baka maging okay naman yung appeal mo

@Moxie nyay!! They require your employment contract authenticated by POLO here in AU? or consularization lang? sa ACT(Canberra) pa ang POLO dito sa AU.. not sure if the consulate office here in SYD accommodates employment contract verification.

@aanover @sheril bagong requirement na daw ng POEA simula May 1. All name hire profession types daw required na may POLO certification in support of their "direct hire ban."

Thank goodness tinanggap nila appeal ko. Sabi nung nasa counter swerte daw ako napagbigyan pa ko. Flight ko na kasi this Sunday madaling araw and I will miss it if sinunod yung POLO requirement.

Sa mga bagong professional name hires na nasa thread na to, take note na lang na POLO certification is required na.

HI @nathan26, i believe if your employer(an approved sponsor) is sponsoring you and you are outside Australia, 457 lang ang visa for you. Unless you would want to take the independent path which is either 189/190/489.

@DreamerA, a year ago, less than 9K yung binayaran ko, but during that time, it was required to pay philhealth premium (2.4K), recently daw this is no longer required.

Hello po! New member ako dito pero nagbabasa-basa na ako sa thread.

Nag lodge ung employer ko ng 457 and nakapagpa-medical na rin ako. Na submit ung medical results ko last May 19. Tanong ko lang po:

1) Ilang weeks bago na approve ung visa nyo after ma-submit ung medical?
2) Dependent ko ung asawa at anak ko, pero ako lang ang ni-request na magpa-medical. Ganoon po ba talaga? kasi may nababasa ako dito na kasabay, mayroon na hindi.

Medyo kinakabahan ako. Sana naman di ma-reject ung application namin kasi nag resign na ako sa work. Andito pala kami sa SG.
