@carla_glam if you are sending by post you can send to their p.o.box address.But if you want to send by courier send to that address - Level 5, 478 Albert St East Melbourne 3002 VIC, Aus - and they will receive it.I used courier for all my transactions with them and it was promptly received.nevertheless, via post is also efficient save the time lag.

Hi Boyolo. Anong courier ang ginamit mo pagpadala sa Vetassess? Nagtry ako tumawag sa DHlL, Fedx at iba pa kaso hindi daw sila nag dedeliver sa address na yun sa vetassess at lalo na PO box. Thanks.

Hi, quick question. Is it necessary to have at least 3 years experience before getting assessed? I'm interested in getting assessed, I have 2 years experience in the profession I will apply but I only have 2 years total work experience.

@star1 it is not necessary to 3 years work experience before you can be assessed. You will be assessed for your qualification with regard to your nominated skill.however, since you only have 2 years work experience, you wont be able to claim point for work experience.so if you would be able to obtain 60+ point go ahead and commence your assessment.

@carla_glam and @boyolo hello guys! since you both submitted na your application, meron lang ako question. i'm planning to submit my application to vetassess probably next week. how did you go about dun sa certified photograph? did you paste it in a bond paper then have the notary public signed it. or dun mismo sa likod ng picture kayo ngsulat at ngpacertify?
iniisip ko kc maliit lang ung passport size picture para magkasya ung words na "certified tru likeness of __________"

another question...if you put trainings and seminars attended in your CV, kelangan mo pa ba magsubmit ng certified true copies ng training certificates or pwede hwag na.

Hello Po, Ask lng po if ano ang pinaka shortest time span ng vetassess result? Sa website nila, it was mentioned 8-12 weeks but parang sa mga timeline ng iba, it takes around 4 months... Thanks

Hi ozzie! Ako phinotocopy ko tapos dinikit ko rin yung original photo sa ibabaw ng xeroxed photo. Yung bond paper ang pinanotaryo ko. Did you do the same thing?

By the way, separate nyo bang sinubmit yung Authority Letter to Charge in Credit Card saka yung VETASSESS docs? Magkaiba kasi yung postal address.

Questions:

1. Yung "certified true likeness" na stamp sino maglalagay? Yung notary public meron ba sila stamp naganun or ikaw maglalagay? Yung, ididikit na picture sa vetassess form, wala na ba certified yun since magsubmit ka naman ng certfied picture na nakadikit sa bond paper?

2. Sa Vetassess form, listing of duties and responsibilities, ilalagay mo ba ulit or pwede mo lang i refer sila sa resume mo?

3. Yung credit card, papadala lang yung authorisation so sila na bahala mag charge, walang kang gagawing payment before nila matanggap and documents?

hi,tnx a lot na may ganitong discussion 2ngkol sa process ng australia visa.my husband have nominated approval under 457 visa last july 20,2011,ang problima kasi namin hindi alam ng employer nya ang step by step process kasi po nang ma aprove nomination niya pinadalhan na sya ng plain ticket at sa kasamaang palad hindi cya pinaalis ng immgration,ang now ned daw nya mag TRA,on going process pa.may question are how long or period of time the vetassess to get the assestment.and the nomination approval po ba ay na expired.tnx a lot po and more power

@joemar - wow sayang.. medyo nagkamali ang employer.. you mean pumunta si mister sa airport ng walang visa? basta nomination papers lang?

i can answer some of your questions:
1. Vetassess - assessment processing time on average is 12weeks.
2. Employer nomination for visa 457 has expiration of 1 year

Anu na po ang stage ngaun ng processing? may nag-aasikaso po ba na agent/representative from the employer? or kayo lang din po ang nag-aaply lahat?

May mga 457 din dito sa forum.. hopefully they will provide guidance..

@lock_code2004gud day! tnx a lot for reply. yes nakakatawatawang nakakaawa mister ko ng umalis cya last aug.7 my bagyo noong time na iyon at baha at ang nakakaawa walang perang pamasahi pauwi.kasi sabi ng employer nya iyon na daw visa,kaya na hold alis nya ang pinangtataka ko bakit hnd alam poea ng mag pdos sya hindi alam kung anong documento hawak nya...sayang talaga,at medyo nasa stage na kami malapit na sumoko kasi financialy out na kami at baon na rin sa utang direct hired ang mister ko nomanited sya mismo employer nya at manager din ng company.actually hindi talaga namin alam gagawin nagsuggest kami na sa agency na lang kami magpatulong kaso ayaw ng employer nya kasi nadala daw sa mga agency kasi ang laki ng kinuha sa mga ofw,kaya wala kami idea kung kailan makakaalis mister ko nag apply cya online vetassess nakapagpasa na sya ng mga documents last nov.3,2012 pa until now wala pa.we don't know kung may inaasahan ba kami baka kasi naghihintay kami sa wala,pero sabi ng ibang may alam na 2ngkol sa 457 visa ito na lang daw TRA last stage.regard tnx again

hello guys syangapala nominated as metal fabricator under 457 visa mister ko,galing sya ng saudi as welder for 4 years,nasa saudi pa lang sya nang pina process iyong document nya sa australia tru email lang ang communacation nila ng employer nya at nag nominate sa kanya umuwi cya last may dto pinas din na approved nomination july 20,2012 not 2011 sory naka pag medical na rin cya,naka pag pdos na sya sept 2012 pa.tanong ko uli magbabayad ba sya uli or mag another pdos at medical kasi medyo matagal na hindi cya nakaalis at may maaasahan pa ba kami.tnx and regards

@joemar: hello po! 457 po ako. Ask ko lang Mam, ano po travel papers hawak ng hubby niyo? Yung 457 po ba hawak niya na? Yung 457 po kasi is usually not granted until may approval from the assessing body po (like VETASSESS sa case niya). The thing is, he and his employer have to prove to DIAC na may kaukulang skill ang asawa niyo at malalaman yan lang yan ng DIAC after ng positive assessment with vetassess. Isa po eto sa mga questions pag nag apply ng 457 visa.

Another thing na kailangan prove to DIAC ay kulang ng tao sa Australia na kayang gawin ang trabaho ng asawa niyo. Kaya kailangan nila mag hire ng outside Australia. Dito papasok ang employer nomination.

Mam, magulo kasi may PDOS siya at medical pero wala pa VETASSESS niya? Mam, andito pa po pala ako Pinas. Share ko lang yung step-by-step process na pinagdaanan ko. Baka makatulong na rin sa inyo kung saang step na asawa niyo:

1. Employer hires employee after interview etc (contract signing. sweldo, benefits)
2. IELTS exam
3. Skill and qualification assessment sa akin by Medical Board. Sa case po ng hubby niyo, VETASSESS ang assessing body niya. Submit lahat ng diploma, training cert, TOR, IELTS result. Then, hintay-hintay na ma aprub.
4. Upon approval from assessing body, saka lang usually siya nominate ng employer niya to DIAC for visa. May ibang cases din, nauuna employer nomination. Basta the employer has to lodge nomination para sa asawa niyo.
5. DIAC then approves the nomination. Pag aprub na, pwede na hubby mo mag lodge ng application niya sa DIAC.
6. May Case officer (CO) ang ma-assign sa hubby mo. He will contact him to ask for documents. Importante submit niya yung document galing VETASSESS. Sa akin, yung Board may letter talaga sila ginawa para ipakita ko sa DIAC. Eto yung magpapatunay na qualified ang hubby mo sa job. Online lang lahat so mabilis.
7. Medical exam - may list of approved physicians ang DIAC
8. Visa grant
9. POEA for OEC (with PDOS) - dalhin niya ang contract at visa passport.

* Documents na hiningi ng CO:
a. Evidence of qualification (diploma, certificates)
b. Evidence of assessment/registration (vetassess)
c. English proficiency (IELTS)
d. Health check - medical exam
e. criminal check - NBI at baka Saudi Police Clearance (kasi nag Saudi siya). In my case, nag Singapore ako, pero hindi hiningi eh. Siguro hintayin na lang kung hihingin ng CO
f. proof of health insurance - usually provided ng employer. Or provide mo muna at reimburse nila later
g. copy of passport

* As to processing times, iba-iba kasi eh. Kaya mahirap din sagutin. Hindi ako nag agency din po Mam. Direct-hire din ako tulad ng hubby niyo. Pero yung employer may tinalagang Recruitment officer assigned sakin. Baka pwede ask ng hubby niyo from the company or amo niya yung proceso. Actually responsibility po talaga nila yan to guide their employees. Lalo na pag 457 po. May contrata na asawa niyo kaya technically employed na siya.

Still, malaking bagay na po na may naghihintay na trabaho sa kanya dun. Blessing po yan, kailangan lang maisaayos papeles niya.

@joemar - ayan may guide na po kayo, based on experience na po ni @Nadine..

a) hintayin nyo na lang po ang result ng Vetassess, kung nagsubmit kayo ng Nov 2012, mga between Jan/Feb 2013 na po sguro ang result nyan..
b) and then saka pa lang maprocess ang visa (processing time is between 2-3months), so mukhang ma-susubmit nyo before mag expire (July 2013)

ang question na lang:
1) Medical Exam - baka po ulitin nyo ang medical kung hindi sa DIAC accredited clinic nagpamedical si mister at baka expired na din ito.. 1 year din po ang validity ng medical exam.

2) English requirements - may mga exempted po dito under 457 (unless requirement ng mga licensed practice, like yung kay @Nadine, since medical professional sya, kailangan po nila un)..

eto po ang statement dun sa 457 link from DIAC na provided ko sa previous post:
"You do not need to show that you meet this requirement if any of the following apply to you:
• you have completed at least five years of continuous full time study in a secondary and/or higher education institution where instruction was conducted in English."

so sa tingin ko, baka kailangan na i-prepare ni mister ang document na ito, kuha po kayo sa High School/Technical School kung san sya nag-aral ng "Certificate of English as Medium of Instruction"

3) Police Clearance - Iprepare nyo na po ang Police Clearance kung saan nag stay si mister ng 12 months or more.. Example tumira sya sa Saudi ng more than 12 months, kailangan po nya ang Saudi Police Clearance (base sa mga kwento dito, medyo matagal din daw po eto, unless meron na si mister nito ngayon).. sa Pinas naman eh NBI clearance (pero saka na po ang NBI pag nasubmit na ang Visa application, dahil may expiration din po ito)..

4) Family - more importantly, baka pwedeng isama na ang buong family sa Visa application, kasi wala namang dagdag bayad pag ksama ang family. (employer po ba ang magbabayad nito?).. para ksama ang pamilya sila sa AU.. (required docs ng mga dependents: passport, birth certificates at marriage cert)

Yong wife ko is planning to have an assessment also for vetasses as soon as possible. Yong may mga positive result sa inyo ilan points nakuha nyo sa education? Let say bachelor degree tapos related ang work experience mo sa nominated occupation. Thanks

@Strader - ang points sa education will depend whether your bachelor degree is equivalent/comparable to an Australian degree/diploma...

example: graduates of Section 1 schools...(UP, UST, La Salle etc.)... the bachelor degree is assessed as equivalent to AU degree, so then they can claim for 15pts for educational qualification..

while they said that even if your schools are in section 2/3, they still look at other factors such as, the course content, your grades, relevant license registration (PRC) etc.. pag okay sa other factors, they still consider it as equivalent to AU degree..

kung hindi naman, it will considered as AU diploma, which is 10 pts in the EOI educational qualification..

wala pa po akong nabalitaan na ganyan.. so most likely equivalent to AU Bachelor degree:15pts sya kung from school section 1..

are you talking about the Vetassess Online Application form (na completed nyo na)?
if yes, you need to only print one copy.. then include that to your documents, then send thru courier..

- the result will be mailed back to you... which you will then send to SS and DIAC..

we just completed my sister's vetassess application... as in nung isang araw lang..
puyat kmi kasi, nasa US ako, tapos sya nasa UAE.. inaayos namin lahat ng docs..
and i double check ung mga details..

Nope!..my wife got a positive assessment as Internal Auditor from Vetassess khit di CIA, but she's a CPA and she work as IA for many years.
