For me po, Arch’l drafter, binawasan ng 1 year ung sa first year

Pag naglodge ba ng EOI tapos 4.8 ang counted ng vetassess, tapos nagwwork ka pa habang naghihintay ng visa, kailangan ba magpaassess uli para makuha mo ung target years of experience? Average kasi dati 1yr waiting sa visa...

As far as I've researched po, pwede daw po kayong magclaim more than that especially if you are still employed under the same employer you indicated in your assessment. You can update your EOIs daw po and/or create new ones.

To add, you may do this if you can prove to the immi the number of experience or points you are claiming in your EOI. Take note that once you receive the ITA, nalalock-in na daw po ang points ninyo so don't claim for so much na hindi naman kayang iprove. It may lead to refusal po. Hope this helps.

Hello. Just need an advice po. Bale inaayos ko na papers ko for VETASSESS assessment. Bale tama po ba yung mga research ko (ang nominated occupation ko is Statistician 224113)

    1) So VETASSESS will get my bachelor's degree PLUS 1 year of relevant experience as my qualifying criteria? So that means sa 3.1 years ko sa first employer ko, 2.1 years lang yung icoconsider?
    2) Ano po yung ilalagay sa EOI? Is it my TOTAL WORK EXPERIENCE or yung YEARS ASSESSED BY VETASSESS? Ang dami ko kasing nakikita sa ibang forums, may iba daw na may policy change pang naganap. Asking lang if may gumawa ba nito?
    3) I've been in my new employer for 3 months now. Pwede ko din ba siyang isama sa assessment? And is it true na, if ever umabot ako ng 11 months, pwede ko lang siya ipa-edit sa VETASSESS without reassessment? (Ang mangyayari -- 2.1 years past employer + 11 months current employer = 3 years = 5 points sa EOI)

Lowkey nainis ako na nagtatanggal pa si VETASSESS ng 1 year sa work experience. Sayang tuloy 5 points ko. From 80 to 75 nalang

Thank you po sa makakahelp! Sobrang inaral ko to ng 2 days hopefully tama naman lahat!

    1) Check VETASSES' criteria for your occupation kasi iba-iba per occupation. Usually if your qualification meets the educational requirement & your field of study is closely related to the nominated occupation then they deduct 1 year. The assumption is that after you graduate you aren't really skilled in that occupation and you need actual work experience to become skilled. Merong occupations wherein if the qualification meets the educational requirement but the field of the study isn't closely related to the nominated occupation then they deduct as much as 3 years. Whether or not your qualification meets the educational requirement also depends on the school where you graduated. Nakalagay naman yung criteria sa website.

    2) You should put your total years of experience. For the experience that is not counted towards your points you should tick the box that says you aren't claiming points for that experience. For example nagwork ka for Employer A from Jan 2019-June 2021 tapos VETASSES deducted the 1st year, sa EOI gagawa ka ng 2 entries for Employer A. First entry is Jan 2019-Jan 2020 & you will mark it na you won't claim points. Second entry is from Feb 2020-June 2021 & you will mark it na included sa pag claim ng points.

    3) Pwede mo isama sa assessment as long as you are able to submit documents for that employment. As long as you stay employed there, pag umabot ka na sa threshold the points in your EOI will automatically increase. That happened to me before. Wala kang kailangan gawin, as long as you are with the same employer.

Ang importante right now is to get a positive skills assessment because if you can't get that, mas mahirap i-resolve ang problem na yan. f you are offshore, yung 1 year na idededuct mababawi mo naman because DHA hasn't been inviting offshore applicants whose occupations aren't in the critical skills list for some time now. Most states are also just inviting onshore applicants who are living in their states or who are living interstate but have job offers in their states. If you get a positive skills assessment at least mapipila mo na yung EOI mo for the time when more offshore applicants will be invited.

@caspersushi24 Kung kasama sa original assessment yung employer & you continued to work for them, pag umabot ka sa threshold tataas yung points automatically sa EOI. Hindi kailangan magpa-reassess. You only need to have a re-assessment if you transfer to a new employer tapos gusto mo magclaim ng points from your new employment.

Hi po, for item no. 2, I have watched a video of a migration agency based in Au. They said that you may still claim points for the ones deducted by the assessing authority provided that it is a post-graduate work experience because, they will not count the ones you took while you're still studying. As per that agency, immi is asking for years of work experience independent of years deemed skilled. The assessment just proves that you are skilled, and you qualify for the nominated occupation BUT disclaimer po, para sure, seek advise from a MARA agent, and more research po.

If meron pong makapagverify din dito, better po. Thank you.

@caspersushi24 u mean imerged ung documents? No need bale ipapa-upload siya per document per company sa website ni VET

Yup, i-merge ba per company? COE, ITRs, Payslip, etc.

You will be asked po to submit documents per type say, for Statement of Service, you may upload your COE there. A different category is allocated for your payment evidence but, there is only one payment evidence category per employer so, ang ginawa ko po minerge ko po yung payslips, ITR, contributions ko po in one file named as Company_PaymentEvidence. Each file should be 4MB and below. In my case yung hindi po kaya, I did upload other payment evidence such as, employment linked insurance under "Others". You may compress the PDF but, in some cases, I cannot do so as it lowers down the quality of the document. May iba na di na po mabasa pag masyadong compressed yung pdf.

Tip ko po is create a VETASSESS account in advance, and explore that. You may discover some items you need to provide, and what approach best suits you.

Sana makatulong po. Kakalodge ko lang din po last week. Kinakabahan pa ako. hehe

Thank you po for this! Very informative!

May I ask po ano po yung ninominate niyong skill and gaano po katagal bago niyo nakuha yung outcome?

@caspersushi24 Kung kasama sa original assessment yung employer & you continued to work for them, pag umabot ka sa threshold tataas yung points automatically sa EOI. Hindi kailangan magpa-reassess. You only need to have a re-assessment if you transfer to a new employer tapos gusto mo magclaim ng points from your new employment.

    Okay bale so ganito po:

    Employer 1: 03/2018 to 04/2021 -- total of 3.1 years
Employer 2 (current): 05/2021 to present -- 3 months and counting

Kung parehas ko pong ipapaassess and nag positive yung outcome ang magiging result is:

Total of years assessed: 2.4 years (2.1 years + 3 months)

Kung ganyan po ang outcome and I've stayed in my current employer hanggang maka 11 months ako, which will then result to 2.1 + 11 months = 3, maguupdate po yan automatically sa EOI and no need for reassessment sa VETASSESS?

Hi po, for item no. 2, I have watched a video of a migration agency based in Au. They said that you may still claim points for the ones deducted by the assessing authority provided that it is a post-graduate work experience because, they will not count the ones you took while you're still studying. As per that agency, immi is asking for years of work experience independent of years deemed skilled. The assessment just proves that you are skilled, and you qualify for the nominated occupation BUT disclaimer po, para sure, seek advise from a MARA agent, and more research po.

If meron pong makapagverify din dito, better po. Thank you.

Pwede po makita yung video? May mga nagsasabi din po kasi nito. Sa isang forum may naglink nito (https://iscah.com/important-change-work-experience-points/) and reliable site daw yan or something. May sinabi siyang policy change about the work exp points pero ang weird is walang official announcement si DHA.

Hi po @RheaMARN1171933, ano pong masasabi niyo dito?

Hi po, I can't remember the exact video. Madami na po kasi silang videos. Search Australian Immigration Law Services on Youtube. Registered migration agents po yung nasa team niya so binge watching po ako. hehe.

Haha sige po try ko hanapin. Thank you!

hi po good evening. I am a new member here. Manghihingi lang po sana ako ng advice. Baka meron po dito similar sa case ko.

I'm currently working as an Account Manager in a telco company in the Phils. been in the position for 14 years. We manage consumer accounts, and up-sell telco products and services.

In ANZSCO, ang closest na job sa akin ay ICT account Manager. HOwever, in the VETASSESS page it says:

The ICT products sold are typically targeted at enterprise
(corporate) or public sectors and would normally be expected to
constitute business solutions rather than be off-the-shelf
products. The role requires in-depth, specialised knowledge in ICT
to assess the needs of client organisations, explain the goods and
services in detail, and engage in appropriate reporting and
business planning. The role of an Account Manager is primarily to
generate increased revenue from existing accounts, rather than
to acquire new accounts. ICT Sales Assistants, who sell computing
and telecommunications related goods and services in retail and
wholesale establishments, are elsewhere classified in ANZSCO at a
lower skill level than ICT Sales Professionals.

Almost same ang job description, the difference is I cater to consumer accounts and we upsell telecommunication products like mobile plans, broadband plans and not really computer products. Pag ganito po ba, do you think negative po magiging result ng assessment? Thank you very much in advance and stay safe po!

Hi guys! our vet assess got approved 2019, my husband's (the main applicant) assessment will expire on April 2022. When should I apply for renewal of full assessment? He didn't change work and position since 2019. Hope someone can answer my question po. Thank you. We're finally updating our documents since mukhang mag-open na sila.
