Certificate of functional english for undergraduate dependent

If meron pong same case with mine, 189 visa applicant with an undergraduate dependent, do i still have to obtain CEMI from the university kahit hindi natapos ung degree nya? Any other options other that taking pte or ielts exam?

@Giyann baka naman pwede yung certicate from where he graduated high school? Or kahit undergrad I think the uni will accommodate the request, it does not hurt to try asking the school

As per DIBP website:
"Completed a degree, a higher degree, a diploma or a trade certificate that required at least two years of full-time study or training in an institution in or outside Australia and all instructions were in English."
Based on this completed dapat yung degree, and yung sa amin hinanapan kami ng transcript ko to prove that I completed my degree. Probably, yung option niyo is for him/her to take PTE/IELTS.

try to check from the uni perhaps they can provide CEMI. naka ilang years ba sya sa college? kasi sabi "....at least two years full time study..."

@batman Sabi po completed so dapat po natapos. Kung hindi degree, pwedeng diploma or trade certificate na at least 2 years.

Eto po email ng CO sa amin:
Evidence of functional English
To prove that you have functional English you must provide the following:
● copy of an award (being a degree, higher degree, diploma or trade certificate) that
required at least two (2) years of full-time study or training and all instruction (including
instruction received in other courses for which you were allowed credit) for that award
was conducted in English.

@Cassey @batman @guenb thanks for all the inputs. Co accepted my husbands cemi from primary, high school and college. I submitted college ba din kahit undergrad lang. Sinubmit ko din together ung diploma elem and highschool as well as college tor and certificate of employment nya from overseas to make strong. Thankfully no queries. Recieved the grant today after 10days of lodgement. Thank you so much

@Cassey Hi. As for the certificate na binibigay ng school na all instructions were in english, do it need to be CTCd? or kahit si registrar nalang mag stamp na certified true copy of the original?

May validity po ba yung CEMI from the date na inissue? Kasi more than a year na yung CEMI na kinuha namin para kay hubby. Do I need to get another one?
