so for secondary applicants, applicable pa rin po ang mga statement sa itaas...
at tama po, if you need ielts and skills assessment for claiming partner's skill 5 points.
kung hindi naman magclaim, you can choose any of the choices above..
the easiest would be "certification of english as medium of instruction" from college/uni.

Hi @lock_code2004, another quick question po, during the time you lodge your application, have u filled up & submitted ung form 40SP & 47SP? Medjo confuse po kc ako dito sa form na toh, if need pa i-submit. thank you!

wala kaming ibang form na ginamit.. kung ano lang online application yun lang po..
i guess ung mga forms na yan is for paper application...
pero kung online, nandun na po lahat..

only paper form we used was form 80, which your CO may or may not request from you..
when CO requested form 80, we printed the form 80, sinulat lang namin ang mga sagot (again using blue ballpen), then we signed.. scan and attached to our online application form..
medyo mahaba at detailed ito, kaya mas okay na i-prepare nyo rin incase kailangan..

In our case, we both took IELTS.. wala kasi mag-aasikaso sa pinas ng mga certificate (for my partner)...

for most people here, they presented their diploma and the certificate of english from their school.. kung wala pa kayo nito at kailangan nyo na maglodge.. pwede nyo naman yan ihabol after ma lodge ang visa..

meron dito dati, hindi nag-ielts yung partner, tapos wla din cert of english, ni require sila ng CO na magbayad nung second payment, pero nung nakuha nila nung cert of english, sinubmit lang nila sa CO, and it was accepted...

@lock_code2004, thank you sooooo much! sooobrang laking tulong po..Naku bka mahirapan nga ko kumuka ng cert of english la ko mapapakiusapan sa Pinas puro busy..So it means po ba na ok lng kahit di mag ielts & mag submit ng cert of english but you have to pay certain amount? or requirements po ba tlga or depende sa CO? Pag nag eilts po ba ko, mawa-waive po ba ung additional payment for partner?

@carla_glam - yes, pag hindi nasatisfy ang english requirement ng secondary applicant, magbabayad po talga ng 2nd payment... at medyo malaki po ang 2nd payment.. i think around 4000aud..

so laking tipid talaga ng cert of english from school...
or ielts score of 4.5 (medyo madali lang naman po itong ma-achieve)

Oo nga po na shock ako kanina nung nakita ko ung 2nd payment..super mahal, kc parang mag-eenrol sa ka ng english class then you'll have a tutor pag dating ng australia..hehehe..Achievable nman po ung 4.5 na score, nakakahinayang lng ung $300 di kc namen expected toh..pero mas mahal po pla ung 2nd payment. Cge bka mag ielts nalang po Thanks again!

tama... kung may friend/kamag-anak na pwede pakiusapan or bayaran ng less than $300 (ielts).. less effort syo.. hehe

oh well kung wala talaga.. ielts is the next best option... test schedule lang ang habol mo.. baka punuan na..

@carla_glam wala ba talaga pwede magpunta sa school mo to get the certificate? eto pa din ang pinaka walang effort para sa side mo kailngan mo lang kumuha nito sa school at presto, waived na ang secondary english requirements mo. sayang din kasi ang ielts kung hindi ka naman kukuha ng additional partner points.. ang magiging gastos mo lang dito ay yung pamasahe papunta sa school at kung magkano sisingilin ng school mo para sa certificate

of course depende po sa inapplyan nyo.... wala pong kinalaman kung de-facto or not...

i applied for 175 (independent) so PR po ang visa grant..
this is equivalent to 189 (under skillselect)

yes.. that is always the case, kung anu ang primary ganun din ang secondary (PR, Temp or even Student visa)

you might be reading too much.. haha
that is the case for prospective marriage or partner na australian/pr ang other partner.. (example: AU boy wants to bring a Pinay GF/partner)

they will give 1-2 yrs temporary visa dun sa isang partner.. and then kung ma-prove na on-going pa rin ang relationship after the temporary period, then that's the only time na bibigyan ng PR ung other partner..

@carla_glam - remember under SkillSelect, you are applying as a "Skilled Migrant" and NOT as Partner Visa..

you can use a Partner Visa kung example na grant na ang Skilled PR visa ng BF/partnert, pero hindi ka kasama sa application.... pagdating nya sa AU, that's the time na you will apply for a Partner visa and those things/conditions na nabasa mo and i explained above will apply..

In your current case, since kasama ka sa application nya (skilled migrant), then PR visa yun, you will also get a PR visa..

Ung scenario naman po namen now, is since nkapag apply na kame ng skillselect at de facto nilgay namen dun sa status..nag dadalawang isip po tlga ako if itutuloy namen ung kasal sa january, para mas smooth ung process di na kailngan mag provide ng mga proof of our de factor relationship (though we can provide all the docs required naman). Or wait nlang kaya nmen ma grant ung visa then saka kame magpakasal pra di na nmen palitan ung status? I remember ung link na binigay nyo sa kabilang thread if may change sa current situation. Pag ba may change, need mag wait bago ma expire ung skillselect? or it doesnt apply sa State Sponsorship? Kc i-remember for skill select pag may changes ka, mapupunta sa last queue ung application mu? Waaaaah, been reading tooo much n po at nag mi-mix up ung mga nababasa koh, it made me soo confused Pacensya na po dami ko tanong THanks po ulit sa walang sawang pag sagot ng mga queries ko God bless u!

@carla_glam - you are most welcome.. saka mo na ako ilibre pag nasa WA kana.. haha..

eto ang personal opinion at mga suggestions ko...

1. Status does not matter much sa SS, they only check yung Skill Assessment/IELTS ng primary applicant, they don't ask for proof of status(defacto or married), and of course ung mga questions dun like why did you choose to apply sa WA etc and yung financial conditions..

2. nope, you don't need to change your status sa EOI.. pag na approved ang SS nyo, automatic visa invitation nya yan.. so continue with your visa application (pay the fee and attach all your documents)...

then, if you decided to continue with your wedding, as i said don't change your EOI status.. hintayin nyo ang CO, and then submit the form about changes in circumstances... attach the form and then your marriage certificate...

kasi wala pang nakakagawa nyan..

so far, de-facto relationship pa lang ang merong success story dito sa forum..
so im assuming na parang pareho lang ang de-facto at engaged...

@lock_code2004 in my eoi, engaged kasi ung pinili ko na status and we are planning to get married before the diac invitation arrives. kasi pghinintay ko pa mglodge after marriage (around march '13) sayang din ung time and need pa kasi nmin ng SS sponsorship which is 14weeks TAT.
pag hopefully na invite na aq ng diac to apply for visa, ano ba dapat ilagai ko na status? engaged pa rin or married na? :-/ pg married na d ba yan ma discrepancy sa declaration ng eoi mo? :-/

of course, as long as you can show your marriage certificate as proof.. wala naman po kaso yun..
in my opinion, maiintindihan nila na engaged kayo, then nagpakasal during the whole eoi-ss-visa application process..

wag nyo na lang muna palitan ang surname ni misis sa mga documents nya (ex. passport)..
para pareho pa rin ang documents nya sa EOI at sa visa application..

Hi @daks, pareho nga po ung case naten..de facto nilagay nmen during our EOI submission, then by January magpapakasal na po kame, so upon lodgement ng application, we will update our CO regarding our current status, we will submit ung Form 1022 (Notification of changes in circumstances) http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/index/including-family-members/ para ma avoid any discrepancy sa application.

hi @ozlover, i dont think you can add any dependent after the visa has been granted.
so the only option is to apply for another visa, either magpakasal kayo, or partner/de-facto visa..

Hi po, pa-help po please. I'm in the process of gathering proofs for defacto evidence at nalito ako sa pagprovide ng personal statement ng partners at mga testimonials ng mga taong mag-aattest sa relationship namin.

May mga letter na kami pero wala pa sign kasi hindi namin alam kung pwede yung nasa plain paper lang, or sabi ng iba kelangan daw statutory declaration. Never pa ako nakagawa nito, at andito ako sa SG. Saan po ba nakakakuha ng form nun...Salamat po sa mga makakatulong.

@optic - you can just use any normal paper.. the persons who provided statements for us just signed it, then we attahed their passport/IDs.. that's it.. we actually never sent it to notary/lawyer.. this is just based on my experience... i guess this one is fine, because we got our visa..

The formal stat dec format is only if you are AU , it will be affidavit in most countries..
so if you want, you can create an affidavit, you can use normal paper, isama mo ang magsign sa harap ng lawyer.. and then have it legalized by the lawyer/notary..

Now, each lawyer/notary office has their own format, so ang isa sa mga suggestion dito sa SG daw, eh magdala ka ng usb na meron copy ng statement, ibigay sa lawyer/notary office para sila magcopy paste ng mga statements.. or humingi ka ng format nila..

Tip* - make sure na blue pen ang pang sign nila, para pag scan mo (colored) at submit mo as proof/attachment sa application online, eh makita na original ang signature..
