Hello mga Sir/Ma'am,
I'm currently a Mall Engineer( manages operations ang maintenance of the facilities/equipment of the building) here in Pinas. Im a licensed Mechanical Engineer. Hingi lang po ako advice. Though 1 year palang ang experience ko, i dream of working in OZ. Do you think it is wise to pursue facilities engineering if i want to work in australia? Im also taking my girlfriend ( soon to be my wife) who is a CPA with me. Should I shift to a different industry like oil and gas or construction? Please help po. This is my dilemma right now. Is facilities engineering best suited to make a good career sa australia or even penetrating it?

Me here! Until now wala pa rin ang ITA and then yung nominated occupation (233513) ko ay not eligible for 190 under the new visa changes in April 2017. Nag-apply din ako sa VIC, pero denied, dahil daw sa chances is limited on getting a job.

Sa group natin (2335), tanging 233512 (Mechanical Engr) lang eligible for 190. Ang 233511 (Industrial Engr) at 233513 (Production and Plant Engr.) lang ang kasama sa 16 Caveats Occupations which is limited only to 189, 485 and 489 (Family Nominated) only.

If I were you, if your nominated occupation is 233512, go for 190, as many as you could, to have several chances of getting an invitation.

Yes, ME ang nominated occupation ko. Tama po ba ng eligible ang ME for both 189 and 190, with reference to MLTSSL and STSOL. Pleas correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!
Try ko din sa VIC, revise ko pa resumé ko to suit AUS stds. I hope to lang a job in VIC also.

@jacjacjac - Yes if 233512 ka, you are eligible for 189 and 190. If your occupation is in MLTSSL, you are eligible for 189, 485 at 489 (Family Sponsored). If your occupation is in STSOL, you are eligible for 190, 489 (State Sponsored), 457, 186, 407.

There are occupations that are included in both MSTSSL and STSOL which means these are eligible for all visa schemes. Those 16 caveats occupations are in MLTSSL only, wala sa STSOL. Try mo i check yung 233512 ay andun sa MLTSSL at STSOL.

Hi guys, I belong in 233512 class po. I'm starting my career episodes na rin (halfway there) and planning to pass to EA before the end of July. Tanong ko lang po is, may case po ba na masasama ako sa 70+ cutoff points? Currently have 65 lang po kasi. Thanks po!

@cacophony depende kasi yan sa competition. As of the last invitations made, the usual EOI cut-off score for group 2335 is 65 points. Perhaps you can take a look for this link: http://www.iscah.com/pro-rata-estimated-invitation-times-from-july-2017/ .

For us in the group 2335, most of the competitors EOI scores are 65 points. So most likely 60 pointers have limited chances to get an ITA. The last 65 points invitation round was last April 12, 2017 with an EOI cut-off date of November 19, 2016.

The reference analysis (could be accurate or perhaps basis of prediction), if you just submitted an EOI with 65 points last April/May 2017, most probably you can get an invitation in January 2018. For 2017-18 program, if the initial invitation round (July 5, 2017) EOI cut-off score is 65 points, the first ones to get an ITA are those EOI date is near after November 19, 2017.

This is somewhat accurate if there are no significant changes on the MLTSSL and the competion of the number of applicants. There might be changes to happen since DIBP has not released the official list yet for 2017-18 program.

@cacophony correction: the first applicants to get an invitation for the initial round of 2017-18 program are those EOI date near after November 19, 2016. Not 2017.

Question lang mga Sir. Regarding sa Statutory Declaration/Affidavit para sa Skilled Employment Assessment ng EA, kailangan pa ba ng Authorized Witness like attorney?

Guys... Anung band need ko makuha sa ielts kung 30y.o n ako at may 8yrs n akong experience sa skilled occupation kung san ako nag aapply?

@9abrilma depende po sa occupation mo at sa total points na kailangan sa occupation mo para mainvite which is normally 60 kung walang pro-rata

@9abrilma - kung halimbawang nakuha mo ay 6.0 (all skills) points sa IELTS at hinde ka pa nakapaglodge sa EA, ok na yung for submission of EA's assessment. Yun nga lang pag dating mo sa EOI, lalo pag stiff ang competition, hinde mo xa magagamit.

Take ka ulit ng another exam for additional EOI points.

@nehalem hi po, totally newbie question. ano po yung statutory declaration/ affidavit? how do you get this and lahat po ba ng nagaaply required ito? any input po ay appreciated

@Ric0618 pls refer to MSA page 29, isa sa option if you can't get employment reference with job description from your employer. However, kung makakakuha ka naman ng COE with necessary details galing sa company mo then it would be much better.

Hello, guys! Nako-confuse lang ako, may 60pts na ako kaya lang marami akong nababasa na upon submission ng eoi, lower ang chance makareceive agad ng ITA kasi nasa minimum and first submitted, first invited ang system. Tama po ba? o may factor din kung ano ang profession? Ang naiisip ko po kasi ay baka per skill ay nag-aallot sila ng iiinvite o regardless of the profession, basta uunahin lahat ng may higher scores?
