    Hello po sa lahat. I have been reading this blog and been following through all your success stories here. I’ve to say congratulations po and nakakaimpress po ang determination nyo lahat.
    I am in need of some decent advice po regarding my situation. Hndi ko talaga maresolve dilemma ko ‘til this day. Enrolled nurse po ako sa SG. Initially Nursing assistant po ako then ive got promoted after more or less 2 years of service. Meron rin po ako experience sa pinas as RNheals nurse sa tertiary hospital but 2013 pa po un. Ive heard dapat recent 5 years daw po experience,so i really have to make a move na. Which path should I take po kaya? Should i try lodging my visa for bridging(DIY) or consult an agent po? Another option would be to take conversion course po,would that be a better option? If yes, need po ba ng Show money?:) Im in dire need po of help. I wpuld greatly appreciate even the tiniest of advice ❤️❤️❤️

    @Haneehan Hi, kung makakapagapply ka this year sa AHPRA baka pwede pang umabot yung experience mo ng 2013 for a BP. If you want to be registered here in Au as soon as you can, you might wanna consider BP but if you are not in a rush, then you can do Conversion course.
    You also might want to take into consideration your would be points for migration. If you need extra points, you’d have to at least study here for 2yrs. Pwedeng 1yr Conversion then another course for a year. Remember though that it always comes with risks. The longer the course, the riskier it is because change in immigration and even with AHPRA can occur anytime. There are selected Uni where you won’t need show money, I’m not 100% sure though if it’s just those selected schools or if it’s not needed for Higher Education Courses. There are educational consultancies offering free service like IDP and AECC. You might wanna check on those.

    @yssabanana

    A Certificate of Registration Status (CORS) or Certificate of Good Standing (COGS) is valid for three months from date of issue. If the CORS/COGS you submitted with your application expires (either while your application is being assessed or before you present in person for registration) you may be requested to provide a statutory declaration, signed before an approved witness, to affirm your registration/standing with the relevant health profession regulatory authority.

    @mondj3120 For Australian Educational Qualification walang points na makukuha for BP, sa Bachelor’s naman you’ll only get points if you studied and completed it for 2yrs.

    @mondj3120 When you finish BP, it signifies that your BSN gained in the Philippines is now equivalent to the BSN in Australia, thus you can now be registered with AHPRA.

    Getting a BSN degree is Au will give you the same 15 points in education, but you can also claim additional 5 points if it satisfies the Australian Study Requirement

    In that matter a BSN from an Australian university would have an edge over plain BP.

    Salamat po sa inyo :) kasi sa case ko po, I had my experience dito sa Philippines for 2yrs but considered as volunteer experience since I was not paid while working. So they recommended me to have the conversion program instead. Since requirement sa BP ng paid experience. Unfortunately, there are no available slots for this year's intakes. Sabi nang agent, most probably next year pa ako. :(

    May i ask po, after the conversion program ilang months po most probably yung process ng permanent residency? And ang visa po for conversion program ilang years po? Salamat po

    @mondj3120 Have your papers assessed by AHPRA, nakalagay sa website nila na your experience may be remunerated or not, so pwede yung voluntary work experience. You maybe eligible for BP as long as it’s an RN position/role, you have proofs for that experience and it’s within the last 5yrs prior to application.

    Before you decide though, you have to consider your would be points for migration. Tignan mo kung ano yung makakatulong sa PR application mo. Medyo may katagalan ngayon ang PR application. Depende yung waiting time sa points mo. May mga 65points na applicants na last year pa nagapply but until now wala pa ring invitation to apply for PR. By the time na magaaply ka, read forums and see kung mas mabilis ba ang State Nomination or 189, para alam mo kung alin sa dalawa yung iaapply mo.

    Conversion course depende sa Uni, may mga Uni na nagoofer ng 1yr, meron ding 2years. Usually, nagaadd lang ng extrang 2mos ang immigration sa course duration.

    piece of advice kung nasa 39 years old ka na at may stable job as a nurse sa middle east o kung saan pa man ... napakalaking sugal na pumunta ng australia at mag aral pa ang haba ng proseso at napakahirap ubos finances

    @babie It will depend on your points at kung ano yung situation with the immigration. At the moment, matagal ang waiting time. They’ve cut down the number of invites. With the residency, you can’t lodge it straight away, you’ll have to be invited first before you can submit an application.

    @mondj3120 No, it wouldn’t matter. After mong matapos sa course isa lang naman ang kakapuntahan niyan for registration as a Nurse. Walang points kung Uni man siya o college as long as pareho silang Conversion course or Bachelor’s Course. Magkakatalo lang kung yung isa eh 1yr lang tapos yung isa is 2yrs.
