@ykcul_kcul Baka yung BP slot mo is beyond 1 yr na, atleast sana maka start ka ng BP before yung eligibility mo mag expire meaning enrolled kana dapat before expire. Remember that BP period is only good for 1 year and I think AHPRA will only extend on special situations.

@velvetcake1214 AFAIK vaccinations as dTpa, MMR, HepaB and TB screening is a government/state requirement which the schools/unis implement. The primary reason is to protect you and your patients during clinical exposures.

@velvetcake1214 Yes po, better start/have your vaccinations now and be sure to get certifications for each. Depending on the state may mga specific forms din na pwede mong magamit to record them with certifications attached. This is for NSW.
Actually, for nurses this would have been required even when we were still students.

@annafonz Considering the age factor, the bp pathway would have been the fastest. However, AHPRA will be doing away with the BP sometime next year in favor of the outcomes-based-assessment (OBA) pathway towards registration for internationally qualified nurses. The exact details and timetable has not been published yet. Nursing Conversion program may be the next best thing for you since this will not be affected by the new pathway. However, you cannot claim additional points for the PR application because the basic requirement is 16 months of study for the Australian Study Requirement. You will need to enrol in another course to qualify which would put you back in the same situation you outlined in your query. You will finish at age 39 and will be around 40 when you apply for PR which would drastically lower your points for the age requirement.
If I may suggest, try gathering your docs now, apply to AHPRA and hope to get Letter of Referral in time for Jan intakes of BP. Of course, this is very dependent on how soon you can submit your application and receive the letter of referral. Medyo mahirap talaga ngayon dahil marami ang naghahabol na maka BP dahil sa for sure there will be uncertainties during the initial implementation of the new pathway.

Anyone na nakaexperience na nakabridging visa while waiting for student visa then nakareceive ng invititation at nakalodge ng PR? Pwede ba iwithdraw na lang student visa applocation?

@jvs_mmm If the question is simply "pwede ba i-withdraw", of course, that is your prerogative but it's another case if you intend to ask for a refund of the visa application fees. You can of course, request for a refund but it will be up to the DoHA to decide if the refund is merited or not.
It would be prudent to withdraw the student visa application because, if for example it was not withdrawn and you were granted the PR visa first, the subsequent grant of the student visa might supersede the PR grant.

@velvetcake1214 Eto po ata ang gamit na form ng ECU.
Most of the requirements are adult vaccines naman. I think ang relevant na nasa baby book ay yung para varicella para sa chicken pox. Otherwise you can have booster shots na. HepB will require booster shots if surface antibody count is less that 10 or 12 depending on the health department of a state.
