@girmarie Email the school if they will honor serology test done in Ph. If you can do it in Ph, then do it there so it’s less of a hassle for you. I don’t think covered siya ng insurance, you’ll have to confirm it with your provider.

@Cassey Hi mam good afternoon? I read that you've been answering most of the questions regaring working in Australia.

I would just like to ask if you have any ideas regarding the possibility of taking up a bridging program in new zealand and having registered there and afterwards apply it in australia for converting to australian nursing license? This is because a friend of mine suggested this kind of pathway since bridging program and cost of living are much cheaper as compared in australia.

    Hoping for your kind response.

    Thank you

@tympanic123 Hi, that is one of the options that you have. I’ve heard na mas mura nga BP sa New Zealand. If hindi pa magroroll over yung changes sa AHPRA, it should be okay until then. Try to do it as soon as you can.

@tympanic123 hi! If you’re planning to take CAP here in NZ, you can apply thru their nursing council website. http://www.nursingcouncil.org.nz/ :)

If plan mo mag move to australia, papaconvert mo licence mo. :)

@tympanic123 Yes, it’s under the Trans Tasman mutual recognition Act. Once you’re an NZ nurse, you have to register in Au through AHPRA. Then to apply as a PR here, you’ll have to go through ANMAC Assessment as well.

Nag reply na RO ko. Asking for further documents.

    1) nagkamali ako sa middle name ko sa ICHC. Pero nag email ako sa kanila and asking to reconsider change in middle name since ung passport ko nmn is tama and the consent form is same nmn ng full name ko.

    2) Statement of sevice. They need me to resubmit na naka state dapat fulltime at ung number of works hours per week. Problem is i ask my HR and they wouldnt changed the format at ang head nurse ayaw mag bigay nun at sa hr lng daw. Galing diba. Pano kaya toh.

Haist. Stress.

Help any advise from you who experienced this.

Medyo mahirap to dahil kung mali ang pangalan sa ginawang record check hindi na reliable ang criminal history check. You might be forced to have a new check.

You can supplement COE with references from nurse supervisors/chief nurse/head nurse kung ayaw maglagay ang HR ng ibang details.

No idea on this one, sorry.

@cucci thanks for the reply. With ICHC its ok na. They will change my results with the correct middle name.

Ill try my best to ask for the statement of sevise kasi sa amin. Junior nurse, senior nurse, shift supervisor, duty matron, unit manager then director of nursing na. So try ko sa shift supervisor mag request. Haha. Kasi duty matron pataas eh local na.

@sgl663 I was from UAE. there are two places where you can have your docs ctc'd, however it doesn't come cheap. From the Philippine embassy which is about 100aed/page, and from the consul or AU embassy which is 179aed/page back in 2016 yun. Nung 2015 free lang sya e. Ginamit ko lang yun once kasi I really needed a document to be ctc'd asap. I suggest though na ipadala mo nalang sa Pinas lahat ng docs mo and have them certified. Mura pa din kahit ipa DHL back and forth. Cost me around 3000Php for all my documents including my wifes. Dito sa AU, libre lang mga services na ganyan so if vivisit ka or you know someone who will, pwede mo din ipagawa dito.

@Akijo depende siguro sa RO mo. Ako kasi ung COE na inissue sa akin is naka specify kng ung exclusive dates of employment. Hnd naka state ung fulltime and number of working hours per week. So early this morning I called my RO. She advised me that I can get the document from my Senior Nurse. I told her kasi no one will issue me other documents aside from the COE from admin, or unless i resigned. Also, she told me to just indicate “full-time”. No need for the number of hours per week.

I suggest that call your RO. They will advise you based on your situation.
