hello guys, ask lang po.. nagtatry nko magapply from 489 to 887... nilalagay ko ung visa grant number nmen... tas ayaw magproceed kc incorrect format daw.. anu b dpat ilagay don? thank you po

Hello di ko po sure kung may nagtanong na haha but my question is one of the requirements is working full time (35 hours a week) in a regional area, does that mean Annual leave and sick leave are considered to be part of that one year, or do I have to start from scratch each time in terms of counting the hours if nagskip ng work? I work full time but maybe paranoid lang ako na hndi nila iccount yun haha

follow up lang din po, kailangan po ba talaga ng IELTS even if wala sa list of requirements sa website?

@tolitskii may button for help yang field, kung yung visa number na tinutukoy e yung number na naka indicate sa old style visa na kinakabit sa passport then hindi yan yung visa grant number. Iba ang visa grant number sa visa number na dinidikit sa passport.

Ano pong score requirement ng IELTS? Akala ko wala na kasi walang naka specify sa list nila and yung work requirement basta po full time okay lang holidays? Thanks!

Hindi po ba na sa dependent applicant lang nag aapply yung IELTS? Ako po yung primary applicant

Evidence of Functional English for each dependent applicant who is 18 years or older at the time this application is lodged. Evidence of Functional English can be provided up until the time the application is decided.
If you will not be providing evidence a dependent applicant has Functional English, you should advise that you will pay the second instalment of the visa application charge. This charge will be requested when required by the processing office.

@geninego at least competent. regarding sa holidays di ko sure kasi nung nag submit ako ng 887 e lampas na ako ng 2 years. Isa ang ielts sa documents na ipapa attach, pero kung may ielts ka na sa visa 489 mo pwede mong iattach yang same ielts na yan.

@GlennM oo nga, ileave as blank ko na lang siguro.. kasi parang nararamdaman ko nga na iba ung hinihingi. hehe wala nman ako visa label s passport. kaso pag blank, lumalabas nman “ You do not hold a valid prerequisite visa to enable use of this service“

nagtry pa lang kc ako magapply pero di ko isubmit although wala pa 2 yrs. excited lang! lol

Hi to all. May i ask kung visa 489 magrant sakin madali po ba maghanap ng work? And lahat po ba ng may hawak ng visa 489 isa nagiging PR din after 2 yeras? Im just expecting the worst na kung hndi ko makuha desired score sa 189 at 190 pede na as last option talaga ang 489. Please give me ideas and inputs sa mga nagka visa 489. Thanks po sa inyo

@JHONIEL disadvantage ka sa mga job postings na ang requirement e PR or Citizen. Pero case to case din may kilala ako 189/190 na more than 6 months na wala pa din work. For me, it took me at least 2-3 months bago nag ka work while my wife wala pa 1 month may work na mas malaki pa sweldo LOL (lumandi ata sa interview, dapat siguro nilandian ko din) Wala pa naman ako nabasa dito na nareject application nila. Nakikita ko lang naman reason na mareject ang application are if you're not able to fulfill yung requirement sa pag apply ng PR or may ginawa kang unlawful.

@JHONIEL Hi! Yung paghahanap ng work naka depende din sa occupation. If in demand talaga ang job mas madaling makahanap ng work. Kami din visa 489 but thank God my husband got a job in just one week, he is a Chef in a small hotel and madami na din ako nabasa na madaling makahanap ng work pag Chef.

I will give a tip sa jobseekers. Importante din local experience kasi may mga employers na gusto yung meron na nito. So for a start if medyo challenging sa line of work mo, maybe try also other areas muna na merong malaking demand like retail and hospitality. One advise, if medyo marunong magluto pwede mag apply kahit mga breakfast cook, naka pag cook test husband ko sa isang cafe, more on microwave lang daw ginawa nya need lang nila mabilis kumilos, so swak yun sa mga marunong sa kusina.

@JHONIEL This year lang kami na grant. After 2 years mag apply kami visa 887. Yes 4 yrs lang ang 489 so if qualified na to apply 887 mag apply na agad.

@JHONIEL Visa 887 is a PR visa, afaik wala expiration ang permanent resident visa.

Travel facility of all PR visa is only 5 years..your PR visa wont expire. If you need to travel outside Australia after the validity of your travel facility, you need to apply for a Resident Return Visa which will extend your travel facility for another 5 years.

No medicare for 489..Currently, most states will not sponsor 190 for offshore applicants anymore, instead of 190, 489 na binibigay. This is the result of 190 sponsored applicants na lumilipat sa ibang state kahit di pa natapos ang 2 years residency na required as state sponsored. Naging stricter na ang mga states kasi ginagawa lang silang way to enter australia at di honor yong pinirmahan na titira at least 2 years sa sponsoring state. If you have chance for 189 then go for it, if not 190 or 489 is alright..ang importante makapasok ka. Magagawan na yan ng paraan later. Talks about reduction in immigration intake is popping up in the parliament. Tighter citizenship requirements will again proposed in the next parliament sitting.. Points test passing mark just increased to 65. .these measures they're implementing will make it tougher to migrate in the near future.

Medyo mahal ang hospital dito and not covered pa with 489 visa so its out of pocket ang gasto..she can have her baby sa PH...anyway you have to apply for your child a subsequent entrant visa kasi di sya automatic citizen..

You can just save for it..sabay pa din kayo pero kung gusto nyo ng lesser expenses, uwi lang sya to give birth.
