about internet nman..ok ang dodo, hassle lng s pagpapaconnect..dahil s CS s pinas..although narefund nman lhat ng binayad ko n almost 300AUD.. about TPG, may kakilala ko n npadalhan ng imfringement dahil s pagdownload ng movies s torrent.. so better inquire muna kayo s provider..mejo mahigpit kasi dito s piracy..specially s child pornography s internet..

Naexperience ko din yan sa TPG nung nagdownload ako ng movies sa public torrent sites (isohunt, piratebay), nagpadala sila ng email stating na nagdownload ako ng illegal content. I learned na dapat pala sa private sites magdownload.

I think hindi ata nagpapadala yung telstra ng notice, yung dati kong provider 3play networks hindi din. Ang downside lang may data cap, bayad ko 4 yrs ago sa 3play $100/month for 100gig data plan pero every year dinadagdagan nila yung cap ko ng additional 50gig. Later on nag TPG na ako hanggang ngayon.

Kung gusto nyong magpaconnect ng TPG, mag-allocate kayo ng 2 months. Notify nyo sila 1 month before, pag nakabit na, mag-allocate ulit kayo ng additional month kasi automatic sablay yun. Kahit magpa-move ng connection same procedure.
So TPG = average to good speed, unli data and poor connection service.

Naka voda po ako ngayon. Ok lang naman at maganda reception if I stay within city limits. Clear din if I make international calls for as long as I'm in the city. Pero pag lumalayo layo na ako ng konti from the city, (like kanina, I was down in Gold Coast), nag-drop calls na. In fact, talaga walang signal pag yung tren dumadaan sa tunnel. Daig pa ng Lebara na hindi nawawalan signal haha! Maganda na ulit signal nung nakarating na sa Gold Coast. I think medyo mahirap if there are emergencies and you are out there somewhere.

Ask ko lang po, ano yung mga electricity providers niyo? How does it work po? Alam ko you set up an account with them and you pay every 3 months. Pero pag umalis ka na sa apartment, can you continue on with the same provider in your next place?

@LokiJr: yup, available po. Pocket wifi gamit ko for now is optus. Only Telstra and Optus offer 4G but I don't know the speeds sorry (hehe, wala ako technical knowledge). Pero super-bilis 4G for me and can support up to 10 users. I'm even happy with 3G, so yung 4G, A-ok na sakin. More than enough, simple lang naman po aking needs. I can also carry it like 8 hours before the battery conks out.

I need to move to another apartment so I called TPG to request for service relocation. Okay na sana yung usapan biglang merong $129.99 relocation fee (dafuq!). That's even higher than the initial installation charge ($99 +$20 refundable deposit). Mabuti pang magpa-cancel na lang ako, I just have to pay $100 cancellation fee. Now I'm looking for another provider so I can just cancel this shitbag TPG altogether. Any suggestion for unlimited DSL which charges lower than or somewhere around $60?

@faye Nag-inquire din ako sa DODO - $59.80 din unli adsl pero 24 months ang contract. Medyo dodgy din ang installation/relocation fee nila which is between $59 to 299 "depending on the connection situation". I don't want to sign up for something na hindi sure.

I did the math and chose to stay with TPG despite the $129.99 relocation fee. IMO sila pa rin ang pinakamura in terms of unlimited ADSL connections in the market.

@hotshot Haha wala pa naman. Kapag nakalipat na gagamit na ako ng VPN tunnel pektus dahil maraming magagandang upcoming Blu-ray release sa torrent hehe.

In terms of speed/connection, wala naman ako naging problem sa optus. Simple lang kasi needs ko eh hehe. Pero mahal talaga pag prepaid. Plan is better in the long-run.

Mag-shift nga ako to telstra, have my own modem naman, I'll bring it over. Tumitingin ako ngayon ng telstra plans. Pero postpaid plan talaga para mas mura.

Madami nagsasabi ok daw dodo. Mura and unlimited. Pero dodo is not pocket wifi though. Adsl siya na may bundled line. I guess depende talaga ano needs mo Sis.

Maganda kasi ang signal ng telstra lalo't lalo na pag nasa regional area ka ng australia.. sila ksi ang pinakamalaking internet and mobile service provider ng Australia. Kaya kahit saang bundok kpa magcamping kng telstra gamit m my signal kpa rin.. Pro hndi aq telstra ha.. Optus aq, unli fb ksi sa optus.. Adik lg sa fb..:)

Guys, how GB per month do you usually consume - thing is sa atin kasi (and sa Singapore before) sanay tayo ng unlimited...

Such is not the case here as meron limit - am not sure how long will 50gb go pero sabi mabilis lang daw ito if parati naka youtube...

@psychoboy..fb lg ksi ang gamit ng internet sa fon q, so far ok namn xa.. Ung kuya q optus din and nood palagi ng video sa fon nya, ok namn dw ang loading ng videos.. Cguro kng mnsan depende din sa fon na gamit m??
