Pede po ba sabayin apply ko 489 tyaka at the same tike 190?

when I applied my NT application I made sure I only have 1 EOI, I cancelled other state na apply ko. kasi sa NT need mo I prove sa NT government yung commitment mo sa NT, kong Makita kasi nila na may apply ka sa iba tpos may apply ka sa NT, questionable na ang commitment letter mo. this is just my theory though.

@mslakay hi, not sure about your specific reason bakit ka NSW preferred state mo but waiting for a year is too much time wasted I think.

You are fortunate coz your occupation is available sa other states, marami dito kahit saan basta ma-invite at ma-approve. Immigration rules change a lot these days so up to you kung willing ka pa magantay ng years sa NSW. It also depends sa ultimate goal mo. gusto mo ba to be in Australia sooner than later regardless ng location or you want NSW talaga kahit 5yrs ka pa mag-antay?

Naisip ko lang if yung 1 yr na inantay mo nagtry ka sa ibang state so kahit panu naka=stay ka na ng 1 yr sa state na yun. Remember, you can move to NSW once na matapos mo ung 2 yr requirement sa 190 ng sponsoring state or after mo makuha PR mo kpg 489 naman.

I'm Australian in paper but pinoy in form....Living in the most liveable city in the world...Melbourne! Oi, oi, oi!!!

@Au_Vic that time po kse kame hndi padin kame decided since we are working herein sg. Ngyn goal namen is makapunta na po sa khit sang state.Super nanghinayang po tlaga kame sa 1yr. Kaya ngyn double time po kame sa pag gagawa ng eoi for each state.

@mslakay Another perspective din, in case makakuha kayo ng visa via 489 family sponsored, hindi rin naman kayo makakapagtrabaho agad sa Sydney kasi requirement for that visa to live and work in a designated area for 2 years. Sa tingin ko aside from the points, baka wala rin naman gaanong advantage yung 489 FS versus yung 190 or 489 na state sponsored. 2 cents ko lang naman.

@maguero dina po namen inaasahan mag work sa sydney. Okay lang po samen sa designated area. Ang iniciip ko lang po anu kaya ms mabilis ma invite family sponsored or ung state sponsorship.

@mslakay as far as I know EOI alone is not sufficient sa TAS and SA. You need to submit application also to their website apart from submitting EOI.

AFAIK only NSW are giving invites through EOI.

Are you doing it by yourself? why don't you try consulting professionals who can really advise you the best route kasi your case might be different sa iba and you are following their path but to no avail, like now been a year na nag aantay kau.

    Usually initial consultations are free.

    PTE Writing Tips

For writing essay I used E2 language format and applying what I learned from Ielts. Sa intro, sa 1st sentence ni restate ko lang yung question using my own words. Then sa 2nd sentence if one sided lang yung question, I give summary of the reasons ( 2 reasons only). Example, if ang essay is about importance of computers (one sided), eto 2nd sentence ko. Computers are valuable resources as they (1st reason) aid in learning and are (2nd reason) used to communicate with others. Then sa 3rd sentence sasabihin ko para pampahaba-- In this essay, I shall discuss my point of view by giving points and examples about the topic.

Mga 2 sentences na magsupport sa 1st reason, like if yung 1st reason ko is aid in learning, expand ko ang topic by answering how computers aid in learning, etc. Usually yung reason mo convert mo by asking how, what, when, or who. Tapos sa 3rd sentence, I state examples.

4Th paragraph 1st sentence conclusion, then 2nd sentence recommendation.

If 2 sided naman yung intro pwede mo gamitin yung nasa template like kina Heprex na samples. Then yung 2nd par yung kabilang side, then yung 3rd paragraph yung other side. Tapos same last paragraph.

If nahihirapan ka mag construct ng idea try to research as much as possible. Google mo yung mga common or recent topics on pte writing tapos may mga sample questions dun,, then research mo ano possible answers para sa actual exam may idea kana ano isasagot. Tapos dpat familiarize mo mga connectors (like moreover, therefore, for instance, etc) kasi mas mataas ang grade kapag medyo complex ang sentence na ginagamit mo kesa simple sentences lang.

For summarize written text strategy ko is to first get ano main topic. Then analyze what important points were given, may nangyari ba? If you can answer who/what, when, how and why about the topic pwede mo na pagdugtungin yung ideas mo thru connectors and form a sentence. If you will have multiple paragraphs, summarize mo muna per paragraph then summarize mo ulit lahat in one sentence

Another tip also in writing as much as possible do not repeat the same words. If you dont have much stored knowledge about synonyms okay lang. Practice and Research is the key. Kaya malaki ang help sa akin yung pag research sa mga common or recent topics kasi while practicing pwede akong mghanap ng synonyms then mas madali ko syang ma recall sa actual exam kasi nagawa ko na sya before. Tapos if meron kayong word na ma encounter na parang hirap kayo mag elaborate, google nyo din anong synonym or phrases na pwedeng same meaning ng word. Share ko yung nilista kong mga synonyms na possible na magagamit sa mga essay kasi minsan these are the topics commonly asked.

You mentioned about supplementary list in SA, kapag nandun sa list na yun ung occupation mo, either of the 4 options dapat applicable sau.

    a. high points (currently 90 points but generally 80 points upon start of new financial year)
    b. chain migration (you have a relative in SA who is a perm resident)
    c. job offer/working in SA
    d. studied in SA

If iexplore mo SA which one ang applicable sau?

@mslakay wag ka mawalan ng pagasa, I remember I waited more than a year para ma invite for my visa and that was way back 2015 (2014 ako nag submit ng EOI), at since sa dami ng nag susubmit siguro mas tumagal na lalo timeline ngayon. Turns out tama si Erpats hehe.

    My Visa 489 Timeline

@abigeltrih depends on the state. Check each state for their own requirements kasi paiba iba sila. Some need years of exp etc

@MLBS thanks! In 190/489, is it required to have an offer of employment to be able to gain points? or as long as my qualification is included in the skilled occupation list for a particular state, I can gain points?

    anong kelangang ipreapre bago magEOI?

@abigeltrih again, it depends sa state. Yung iba like nsw no need sa employment offer e, while yung iba kailangan.

For eoi, you need to have a positive skills assessment and english test results.

Question lang po, after 2 years po ba na under 489 visa ka, pued ka na mag apply for PR? Does it mean, you have to take another english exam to lodge for subclass 887 po ba ? Thanks po sa sasagot.
