@fgs Hi, in the article, is it referring to the 2015-16 financial year? Why would they allot 2525 if they will not invite. Anyone who has been invited last July 6?
I've been invited last July 6. I don't think all the 2525 slots for Accountants are already occupied, kasi they will limit the invites per round para maspread throughout the programme year, just like before. Hindi lang siguro updated yung site :)

In the Occupation Ceiling tab though, it is stated:

Due to high levels of demand, the below three occupation groups will be subject to pro rata arrangements to ensure availability of invitations across the programme year:

    ICT Business and System Analysts
    Software and Applications Programmers
    Accountants.

Thanks @vamdcpa for the clarification, yeah I guess di pa nila inalis sa site yung old text. Same confusion discussed in expat forum - refer to this url: http://www.expatforum.com/expats/australia-expat-forum-expats-living-australia/795257-about-occupation-ceiling-confusion.html

All accountants here who are planning to apply for migration this year. Konting bilis, kasi binawasan yung slots allocated to accountants. From 5400+ last year, 2500+ na lang ang maiinvite this year.

@Anci read the requirements sa border.gov.au..489 relative sponsor, iba iba kasi requirement nila...as far as i know, may pipirmahan lang yan na undertakings requiring them to support you for min of two years..take note maliit lang invites for 489 relative sponsor visa, Around 10 lang yata per month at dapat nasa SOL ang skill mo and your relative should be living in a designated area

sa mga seniors sa thread na ito, i have this query. My wife started to work as accounts receivable officer since December 2014. Do you think she can claim migration points on this field when we will apply for pr hopefully sometime next year? TIA for any wisdom shared here. Ciao

@danyan2001us ndi ako senior, pero from what I know, you can claim points for work experience for at least 3 years (min of 5 pts) which is considered as 'relevant' to your nominated skill as assessed by the assessing body. Hehehe

@danyan2001us yes i believe so.. But you can still find other means to claim points like acing the PTE exams for 20 pts.. That's what I did. :) You just need to get a minimum of 79 points for each band.. You may want to visit the PTE thread for more details .. Haha

can you help me or anybody else to look kung related ba ang accounts receivable sa accountant na skilled occupation? kasi when she started her work (accounts receivable officer) last Dec 2014, her company was willing to sponsor her on a 457 visa kaya lang medyo may problema kasi she needs to have at least one or two people under her position then sa set up nila ngayon sa company nila, siya yong pinaka junior so sabi ng agent namin na medyo mahirap sa 457. Hence, I am eager to research more on this one kasi nga we will be lodging sometime next year our EOI and hopefully mas malaki than 60 points ang makukuha niya. She can't get points from me kasi HR manager ako sa atin and it is not related to accounting.

@danyan2001us siguro related pero hindi ko sure kasi external audit ang nominated ko e..

    Anyone here please... :)

For PTE Acads.. Just download the Mcmillan reviewer on the thread. I just used that in reviewing and had able to ace the exams. If you have some extra money, you can purchase the paid mock-exams to have a taste of the actual exams (i did not buy kasi kuripot ako.. Hahah).

Hello po. I'm a fresh graduate and I will be taking the CPA Board exam on October 2015. Assuming that I pass po, is there any way for me to migrate into Australia as a skilled migrant. My mom and little sis are permanent residents of Australia po. Do I need to have relevant work experience here first? Thank you.

Hi guys, I'm new here. I recently received an unsuitable skills assessment from ICAA (for external auditor) because as per the assessment, I did not complete one of the 9 mandatory subjects which is Finance. I'm from San Beda and our equivalent subject for this was "Money, Credit, Banking and Finance". ? I lodged an appeal, and a bit nervous on their response. Has anyone experienced the same? I'd appreciate your advise. Thanks!

    Occupation: External Auditor

    April 2015 - IELTS academic
    June 23, 2015 - ICAA assessment
July 15, 2015 - Received result from ICAA 'not suitable' due to finance (8/9)

March 18, 2016 - Received invitation from NSW
May 3, 2016 - Obtained NSW approval and DIBP invitation
    May 11, 2016 - Lodged visa application

Pwede na po ba gamitin to as qualification assessment for migration? Yung pina assess kasi dati para sa CPA Australia program. Or kailangan i complete muna core knowledge area?

    Assessment Outcome:

Your Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from XXX University meets CPA Australia’s degree requirement. The content of your qualifications has also been assessed against the core knowledge requirements for the foundation level. In order to meet our foundation level you are required to complete further studies in the following core knowledge areas:

    - Finance

Ano po magiging result kng ito papa assess? Thanks
Ganito din assessment ko from ICAA, although ang equivalent subject sa school namin ay "Money, Credit, Banking and Finance". Ano ang ginawa mo to resolve this issue? Any advise? Thanks!
