Pinaka-updated ka din yung Date (e.g. April 18) na nakalagay sa MSA Status reply...

Kung magkakatotoo yung forecast ko na End of July result nung CDR ko... 14wks lang bale yung Actual TAT ko

@johnvangie agree hahaha. By August ako magretake ng ielts. I passed the exam pero no points rin. L=8, R=7.5, S=7.5, sa W=6.0! nyemas.

i dont really understand why a person who gets a good score in speaking will get a low mark in writing or vice versa. E ang logic lang naman is sa written, you use the same vocab when you speak, use the same skill in word construction, only that it is written. so why often the examinees get high mark in one and low in the other. dapat may consistency yung score ng Speaking and writing.

dapat nga mas mahigpit sa skill assessment but it turns out mas marami pa sa english exam nahihirapan pumasa. pambihira.

Tanong ko lang, do you need to have 3 years experience before you get assessed by EA? Seems like it is not indicated in MSA that you need 3 years exp. What I was thinking is to get assessed as early as now and as I reach my 3rd year at work that's the time na mag-lodge ng EOI..

Bro, depende sa kung anong klaseng "assessment". For most us, CDR and Relevant Skilled Employment ang assessments na pinapagawa natin sa EA.

Sa pagkakaintindi ko, kung CDR, walang requirement na X years of experience, since education and application of engineering fundamentals ang kailangan mo ma-demonstrate. You can even present a Career Episode na based sa projects na na-handle mo while studying, etc....

Regarding 'Relevant Skilled Employment' Assessment, ito yung sinasabi sa MSA Booklet:

2. Applicability of additional services
It should be noted that not all clients will require these
additional assessing services. Such services are
anticipated to be ONLY of interest to the following clients:

• those who hold a higher-level qualification than may be
strictly necessary to provide the nominated outcome;
and / or

• those who have at least 1 year Australian work
experience, and / or at least 3 years Overseas work
experience in their nominated occupation or a closelyrelated
occupation.
Either or both of these services may be applied

Based sa pagkakaintindi ko, dito mag-aapply yung 3 years na nabnggit mo... Makakapagpa-assess ka lang ng overseas work experience, if its at least 3 years worth.. Based lang yan sa pagkakaintindi ko bro...

Also, kung magpapa-credit ka ng points sa DIAC for Skilled Employment later on once you reach 3 years sa current job mo, you would have to go back again and apply with EA for above assessment.

@cacophony yup bro... for most Engineering professions, EA lang ang recognized by DIAC na magbigay ng "opinion" for Relevant Skilled Employment, I suggest when you apply for CDR assessment, isabay mo na yung Relevant Skilled Employment, which is by the time na maka-3 years ka sa company mo...

Again, based lang ito sa pagkakaintindi ko sa MSA, wait pa din tayo ng advice ng ibang members.

Ano pala Nominated Occupation mo?

@wizardofOz Thanks for the info brother. For now focus ko muna is IELTS then career episodes. And then saka na mga certification, hehehe. Mechanical engineering graduate ako... working as a design engineer of electro-mechanical equipment. Mejo naguguluhan ako kung ano talaga either mechanical or electrical engineer. It's a mix of two kasi pero concentrated more sa electrical ang work.

@johnvangie oo nga eh, ok na ok na ung result ng tatlo di ko maintindihan bakit bibigyan ako ng 6 lang sa writing wew. i will take the exam again, this time sagad buto na ang review hehe.

@karl_amogawin haha ako wala pa. gawin ko pa Career Episodes pero patapos naman na. Then saka ako magpasched ng exam bka later days ng Aug or early Sept then career sa review.

question naman po about the COE. Galing ako sa dati kong company at it was acquired by other company now. Ang COE na kaya nilang ibigay sa akin is yung generic format na walang jd. pano po ang gagawin dito?

@sarah_lyn ask lng, na check po ba ng agent ang CDR nyo before ipasa sa EA? Kasi may specific guidelines ang EA sa content ng CDR. Tska ano ang specific request ng EA na dapat baguhin? Tnx
