    @sarah_lyn ah okay try mo ask yung association na nagbibigay ng certification exam dito sa pinas. Are u practicing IE din dito? Or you can opt to be assessd as technologist, may mgbabago ba sa total visa points mo if technologist?

    am calling all the attention of all IE's here,sna marinig nyo ko :) meron po ba kayong sinubmit na certification exam result?
    im an IE.. mine was assessed as prof engr, and equivalent to AU bachelor degree..
    the only difference that i can see, is my school is from section 1, and PUP might be section 2 or 3, so that is the reason why they say that your degree is equivalent to AU 3 yr degree...

    hindi ako nagpacertify.. at wala din akong sinubmit na document to show na walang board ang IE sa pinas..

    marami na ring IE dito na nagpa-assessed na at so far wala naman akong nabasa na hiningian ng board exam results..

    gawa ka na lang ng sulat with your signature... and refer them to PRC - http://www.prc.gov.ph/prb/default.aspx .. to show na walang IE dyan sa list..

    @sarah_lyn you better blame your agent about this mess sa CDR mo...as i recall, naka ilang beses din binalik sa amin ng agent namin yung CDR ko at very strict sila sa CDR...at ayaw rin naman nila ng pabalik balik...kaya sumakit rin ang ulo ko sa kaka revise ng CDR ko...

    just saying... :-)

    @sarah_lyn Usually kapag section 1, walang problema ka as they are usually comparable to a bachelors degree in Australia; worth noting are as follows:

    Section 3 institutions can be comparable to a bachelor's degree in Australia if:
    (1) Bachelor Degree in a professional discipline with (a) 4 or 5 years full-time education, (b) 120-200 credits and (c) Evidence of passing the Professional Regulation Commission’s Licensure Examinations in the relevant professional field.

    Section 2 institutions can be comparable to a bachelor's degree in Australia if:
    (1) Bachelor Degree with (a) 4 years full-time education, (b) 120-185 credits and (c) Average grade of 1.00 to 2.00, (A to B, or more than 85%)
    (2) Bachelor Degree in a professional discipline with (a) 4 years full-time education, (b) 120-185 credits and (c) Evidence of passing the Professional Regulation Commission’s Licensure Examinations in the relevant professional field.
    (3) Bachelor Degree with (a) 5 years full-time and (b) Around 200 credits.

    Take note that if your degree is comparable to the AU bachelor's, it means 15 pts ka when claiming for your educational background.

    @sarah_lyn total amount nkalagay sa contract? ang alam ko kase, sa mga tropa ko na nag agency, upon withdrawal meron lang percentage na di mo makukuha for the partial processing... tawagan mo lang muna yung head office nila and try to check if it's consistent with what's in their contract.
