Thank you Lord we received the results of ACS just now, submitted July 1, they gave AQF Bachelor Degree to my husband and almost 11 years experience as developer. Today is his speaking test. Take charge Lord....

hello sa inyo.. Got my assessment today sa ACS and it was suitable .. Gusto kong magsalamat sa mga taong tumulong sa kin dito naway pag paalain kayo ng puong maykapal .. Sana lahat tayo magkaron ng visa heheh..last week ko lang sinubmit ang stat dec na pirma ng boss ko dito at nagulat ako na ang bilis ng result

Bachelors Degree ang assessed and 10 years ang ginawad sa kin .. nakapaganda ng lunes ko .. God Bless sa ting lahat.. IELTS naman

@sflor88 hubby started working 1998 but the acs acknowledged work experience ng 2002 to present so almost 12 years pala yung experience na nagrant

opo medyo mabilis pero kasi ito parang re-assessment na

I mean nag expire kasi yung acs this year din and naglbas sila ng rule las Jan na bawal na mag revalidate so dumaan ulit ako sa assessment process pero feeling ko kung first time ito medyo may katagalan din but thank God kahit after 2 years. they still recognized yung JD ko.. yung letter result ko eh valid for 2 years.sabi sa immi ngayon na valid ang assessment for 3 years na kaso d ako inabutan yun kasi June ako nagpasa ng acs ko natagalan lang kasi ayaw nila ng self stat dec so nagpapirma ako dito sa ex boss(stat dec) ko and ayun sa awa ng dyos successful naman

@sflor88 employed ako dito sa company namin 2003 pero sabi sa ACS after June 2006..ang alam ko hindi na kasi sabi sa acs for the past 10 years so say ngayong taon ka nag pa assess 2004 until 2014

Dyan ako nadale eh. Kasi di ako nun nag babasa. tanong tanong lang sa mga friends na with visa grant . Sabi kasi nila, kahit 8years experience lang ipasa ko kasi yung lang naman daw max ng para sa points. Although, i started working sa IT field since 1999. Since yung COE ko eh nasa pinas pa..tinamad na ko asikasuhin at sinubmit ko lang kung ano meron ako na equivalent sa 8yrs of IT experience. Sabi ko nga..di ako nag babasa di ba..hehehe...then biglang na invite ako sa RPL route daw kasi nga yung natapos ko eh di related sa profession ko...so additional AUD 50 from the prev fee that I paid. then after ilang days, I got a suitable assessment. Pero the assessment stated "The following employment after October 2011 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level ..." anak ng pating! RPL route pala they deduct 6yrs sa experience mo. at yung mga ICT naman where in same profession ng natapos mo, they deduct 2yrs.

So, and ending, fly to Pinas, process my documents and apply for Review. Ayun, Pay na naman ng AUD 395

....napaka laking charge to experience....huhuhuhu

After the review, tama na yung assessment ko. employment aftet Jun 2005 na ..hehehe..

So now, I tried to read na rin and understand the process..hehehehe.. Pina assess ko na din Bachelor ko. kasi nga non-ict, so sa VETASSESS sya. Para lahat eh claimable points.

2005 daw @sflor88 Yung review nya nag submit sya bagong COE. Gastos nga po @mharcute kakatipid nyo npagastos, hehehe. Australia npo kayo now?

Update po, I lodged my assessment for Developer Programmer on 15 July (last week) and I got a suitable result 22 July (yesterday). Yey! Praise God.

As expected, 2 years of experience was not counted to satisfy the criteria. End up with 6 years and 8 months experience.

1 experience was deemed not suitable due to lack of supporting documents. I submitted a statutory declaration from a colleague, the original COE i got from the company and my first and last payslips. Good thing I only stayed in that company for 6 months.

question lang, gaano ka detailed ang detailed. haha. Baka pwedeng may magpost ng sample ng employment reference dito... ang hirap mag back read 200+ pages na hihi.. Anyway, my detailed employment reference na ako, but i don't know if it's detailed enough for ACS or baka considered as generic siya. I hope someone can help

@J_Oz, macoconsider lang naman na generic kung walang nakalagay na job duties/responsibilities, tulad ng madalas na ini-issue ng mga companies like Accenture etc.

How detailed? Ilagay yung mismong activities na nakaattach sa role mo.

To give you an example:
Translates the business requirement into technical design specific to ABC system

I hope this is enough to give you an idea.

@altuser41 ah ok. Yong akin may job descriptions/responsibilities naman pero hindi ganun kadetailed na nakaspecify pa ang project kasi alam ko hindi pwede yun. Thanks. Naliwanagan na ako. Im still waiting for my school docs nagrequest kasi ako ng duplicate kasi unfortunately nasira ung mga dati. Hehe
