Magastos pala RPL 2 assessing body mahal pa nman sa Vetassess 2011 nagplano ako magpa assess dyan AUD600 samantalang sa ACS noon nasa AUD400 lang.

aimKikay, Hindi pba applicable say Yung bagong guidelines Ng ACS alam mo na Yung may "met date" at kung mag a-apply ka Ng NSW meron kasing guidelines dun na parang nid mo ng reassessment.

Thanks @heyits7me_mags 8 weeks kasi nagtake last year, nagsend ako ulit ng email asking if they have any considerations. In case na need ng reassesment mamomove na naman pag apply ko.
Sana maging OK ang ACT pag nagopen sila ng August. Kakainis talaga..pero sana sana pyumayag sila na pwede pa.

Ang bilis ng acs ngayon ah? Yung friend ko nagsubmit sa acs nung june 16... May positive result na nung july 9 for sys ad

Pwede na! thanks @heyits7me_mags . Pero yun nga another 20k for assesment.
Kaloka talaga hassle pa kumuha ng updated COE from HR. Tapos papa notarize pa. Super hassle sila at gastos. Dapat pala nung nag open ang SA nag apply na ako eh. Kagigil hahahaha

@iamKikay - magpapa assess ka ulet sa acs? If nung jan 2014 lng, diba covered na yan nung new policy ng acs assessment? Ung may nakalagay na 'after july 2005' is considered skilled.

According to VETASSESS site "You can apply for Points Test advice if you have received a Skills Assessment from a different assessing authority and have been referred to us by your skills assessing authority and/or DIBP for Points Test Advice".

It is not a standard requirement to get points test advice from VETASSESS, usually kapag hindi lang nag advise ung specific skills assessing body sa occupation mo about your Educational qualification and gusto mo makasigurado kung ilang points ang pwede mo iclaim for your education (usually dilemma ng mga schools under Sec 2 or 3).

@ios_dev, actually may ganyang kaso dito sa pinoyau na TOR at Diploma lang ang submitted pero naapprove yung points claimed sa Education.

Kaso kung mapapansin ninyo 2012 pa yan. Ngayon siguro baka hindi na uubra lalo pa't may instruction from Vetassess as quoted by @Xiaomau82. In the end, personal decision pa rin yan.

I too need this info..
My BSCS was assessed as aqf diploma only.
I have MBA degree, but was not assessed by ACS due to non ict.

So in EOI - Wat should i claim?
10 points for diploma or
15 points for masteral

10pts. for AQF Diploma @sflor since Yung MBA mo was not assessed due to non ICT. Mahirap mag over claim grounds for visa refusal.

may question po ako, na-assessed na po ako ng acs at may result na last february. di ko na naasikaso from that day. may bago na po akong employer this august. may procedure po ba sila to update my current assessment or back to zero uli ako?

ok lng no need for re-assessment unless kulang ung number of years mo ng work experience at gusto mo isama yung current work mo sa iclaim na points. Kung hindi nmn sa EOI, select mo lng ung "no" dun sa work experience question na kung related ba sia sa nominated occupation para sa current work mo.

Hi guys, Question naman po regarding Cisco certifications. I found out expired na pala yung certification ko and it would take months for me to renew it since I'll be taking all exams again. Is it ok to still include it in my application for assessment with ACS kahit expired na? Thanks in advance

Dapat cguro @vhancey ipa update mo muna Kasi I heard here na i-access Ng ACS yan. Good thing meron ka certification na ganyan Kasi equivalent yan sa educational qualification.

@heyits7me_mags thanks sa reply..just wondering ano kaya magiging assessment if I have 9yrs of work experience with BS Math maj in ComSci..actually I got suitable assessment nung 2009 pa as sys mgr nec..pero gusto ko sana pareassess for 263111 para pasok sa SOL.. pwede po kaya maconsider yung previous assessment pero with different nominated occupation para di ko na kailangan irenew yung cert ko kasi 6 na exams din yun..medyo matatagalan and magastos din kasi..any thoughts? tnx again

@vhiancey, ano pong section Ng school nyo. Pwede pong Makita Yung list Sa taas po right corner pero Hindi na daw updated Yan pero makakatuling. Pag section 1 po 2yrs. ang deduction Ng ACS Sa work experience. Pag section 2 nman 4yrs. Pag section 3 nman Yung school 4-6yrs. Try nyo tingnan Yung AQF google nyo kung anong Australian level Yung course nyo. Minsan po Kasi pag 4yrs. course dito sa Pinas. Diploma lang equivalent sa Australia. Yun nmang 5yrs. equivalent sa Bachelors Degree o 4yr. course sa Australia. Pwede nman po basta i-tailor nyo yung job description o i-match nyo yung job description sa 263111. Check nyo kung malapit sa 263111 yung job description. Try nyo po eto psta rel="Xiaomau82">

Ang bachelor's degree po e equivalent po sa AQF Diploma. Yung grades po e kinoconsider lang kung under CEP Sec 2 ung school. Well, lahat po e depende pa din sa case officer. May mga considerate na case officer na kahit under Sec 3 ung school e tinatanggap pa din na AQF Bachelor’s degree.

@xiaomau82 saan mo nakuha yun info mo? Not that I doubt what you're saying. I'm just curious because, ACS hasn't been very transparent regarding how they assess degrees. Nor have I seen any official info re school secs.

This information is non specific of the skills Assessing body. You will need to refer to the Australia Country Education Profile (CEP). CEP is a list of Universities in a specific country (e.g. Philippines) https://aei.gov.au/Services-And-Resources/Services/Country-Education-Profiles/about-cep/Pages/default.aspx

So i have prepared for you a basic guideline, see below:

Section 1 – Leading and autonomous institutions
Section 2 – Deregulated and re-accredited institutions
Section 3 – Other institutions

Universities under CEP Section 2 with a

1. Bachelor’s degree qualification from the Philippines
4 years full-time
120-185 credits
Average grade of 1.00 to 2.00, (A to B, or more than 85%)

Is equivalent to AQF Bachelor Degree

2. Bachelor Degree qualification from the Philippines
4 years full-time
120-185 credits
Average grade of 2.00 to 3.00 (below B, or below 85%)

Is equivalent only to AQF Advanced Diploma


Universities under CEP Section 3 with a

1. Bachelor Degree
4 years full-time
120-185 credits

Is equivalent only to AQF Diploma

2. Bachelor Degree in a professional discipline
4 or 5 years full-time
120-200 credits
Evidence of passing the Professional Regulation Commission’s Licensure Examinations in the relevant professional field

Is equivalent to AQF Bachelor Degree

@heyitsme_mags appreciate your response..upon checking mukhang section 2 kasi I saw a note deregulated dun sa ToR ko..my average is between 1.0 -2.0 nmn po..then I patterned my job description accdg dun sa acs code for 2631111..
