i think wala namang additional points ang master degree..

unless you want to check if your bs degree + ms degree can be assessed as equivalent to AU bachelor degree.. you need to submit both to vetasses..
wala pang naka try nito.. as far as i know dito sa forum..

@kremitz Ah nag take effect pala ang ACS new ruling nung MAY 2013 kahit naka lodge na ng Skill Assessment. So yun mga naka release na ang result prior to May, sila lang ang di naapektuhan. Thanks sa info :-)

Applicants who have received a Skills Assessment from another Assessing Authority
If you have been referred to VETASSESS by another assessing authority for an assessment of your unrelated or higher qualifications you can apply using our online application form or by completing and submitting the SRG34 Application for VETASSESS Advisory Letter on Qualification(s) for Points Test Purposes (non-VETASSESS occupations)
VETASSESS will assess the highest qualification held (regardless of the area of study), up to postgraduate doctoral degree level unless the applicant requests another qualification to be assessed for Points Test purposes. In some cases VETASSESS will need to consider two or more qualifications to determine whether together they are comparable to the educational level of a qualification on the Australian Qualifications Framework.

After 15 weeks and 3 days, nakuha ko na din ang result ng assessment ko with PTA at pinagpala naman ako na positive ang outcome. God is good!

Question. Yung result ko kasi nakalagay na ang qualification/education ko ay hindi daw highly relevant sa nominated occupation ko pero nag-qualify naman ang work experience ko. Nevertheless, positive ang outcome nito. Makaka-apekto ba iyon sa pag-apply ng visa?

Nope, its fine. its just their basis whether they will require 1 or 3 yrs post qualification work experience.

@xiaomau82 Salamat naman kung ganon. Though may PTA naman ako for basis ng education and qualification.

@sflor88 Inabot ako 15 weeks with PTA. Nung ika 14th week nag follow-up na ako at nung nag reply naman sabi prioritize nila then after 3 days tumawag at nag-confirm sa employer. After 2 days may result na. Opo naka mention sa PTA kung equivalent sa Australian Bachelor's Degree ang degree mo dito. Kung may extra money to spare ka, go for it sa PTA.

@sflor88, sa case namin, sabi sa amin ng VETASSESS dapat 10 weeks lang. Pero inabot sa amin ng 11 weeks.

Thanks for the info! Medyo complicated din ang nature ng qualification at work experience ko kaya I availed of the Advisory Service ng Vetassess, siguro medyo same layout and uploading scheme lang din.

hi po. ask ko lagn sino na po naka experience na mag pa assess sa ACS then need mag paasess sa vetasses (example: accounting draduate, pero yung work experience nya more of as system analyst). Gaano ka tagal po yung processing ng vetasses? thanks!

@coachella9, in our case we were told that it should be 10 weeks (PTA only) but it took us 11 weeks of waiting. No complains though. Favorable result naman e.

Hi po sa lahat,

just want to ask this question...gusto ko kasi magpa-asses ng documents ko, I graduated with a degree in accounting and I'm not CPA but I have an MBA degree. I am currently working in a Telecom company under billing dept, but the line of work I have is mostly set up of plans, handling billing system, UAT, testing, projects and also I can do programming such as SQL, and Oracle. Most of the time I am involved to big projects and I'm connected to this Telco Company for 14 years already(supervisor). Now I am doing my research to which assessing agency I am qualified since I'm not CPA so definitely I can't pass my doc to CPAA and CIA. Though I came up to the site of ACS and i found out na may Business analyst sila and system analyst pero alangan parin ako kasi hindi naman ako IT graduate, Pero dito sa VETASSES na encounter ko naman yung Organization and Method analyst na parang pwede din as experience ko.

Please help po...need to now which is the better anzo code that i can apply...please guide me naman po.

magsesend na po ako vetasses assestment ko hopefully in the next 2weeks (1st or 2nd week of sept) ang question ko po eh kailangan ko pa po ba ng point test advice?D lang po malinaw sakin kung ano po yung kahalagahan nito in the long run? ang nominated occupation ko po eh, film video editor: 212314 anzco, with 11years working experience on the same field, sg based din po ako and pr.kagaya po ng madami satin napapagod na din po ako sa working lifestyle natin dito kaya nagtrytry po ako makapagmigrate, thank you po sa mga sasagot.

@Avidfcpeditor hello po. Ang points test advise (PTA) po e para sa mga hindi sure sa i-claim na points sa pag-lodge ng visa. Example, ilang points pwedeng i-claim sa work experience or sa educ qualifications.

Na-check ko po pala yung anzsco code nyo, bale this time, hindi sya open sa mga states. Meron sa Canberra pero for onshore applicants lang or dun sa mga may closed family ties na nasa Canberra na din. Pero don't lose hope, baka may mag-open sa occupation mo sa mga susunod na months or next year. Kaya pwede ka pa din mag-start na ng application like ielts at skills assessment para pag nag-open sya sa state nomination, apply ka agad.

hi thanks po sa reply @BeBang, di pa nga po ako talaga nakakapagstart ng application ko, pero ang advice nyo po kelangan ko pa po kaya ng PTA? or if ever mg vetasses muna po ako then pwede ko po bang kunin yung PTA later? kung eversince for the last 11years di naman po ako nagiba ng work, and just to add lang po, BSCS po ang natapos ko. thank you po ah.

@Avidfcpeditor sayang ata kung hindi mo pa pagsabayin yung skills assessment and PTA sa vetassess. matagal rin na hintayan yan, on average mga 4 months inaabot. valid naman sya for one year ata pag may result na, so may time ka pa maghintay kung may state na mag-open up. pero di ko sure kung dapat nga talaga sa vetassess ka lang considering may BSCS ka. baka may ibang same experience dito o sa ibang forums, check mo lang.

I think @altuser41 can help you regarding your question, he has an accountancy degree but his line of work is related to IT(developer programmer), please correct me if i'm wrong

. I believe you need to have your degree assessed by VETASSESS first and then apply for RPL assessment with ACS. They usually deduct 6 years from your total relevant work experience.

You can start by doing self-assessment if you think your experience is closely related with either business analyst or system analyst.

There is a separate thread for ACS skills application in case you decide to go that route.

Thanks on your advice... question lang base on your comment "have your assessed by VETASSESS first" eto ba yung advisory service ng VETASSES or yung direct na SRG1 form na "Assessment of qualification and employment for full Skills Assessment"?. Saka I'll check the RPL route nadin in advance.

@altuser41 yung meaning po ba ng PTA is )(Points Test Advise) ? Baka po pwede makahingi ng tips kng ano po yung dapat tignan sa vetasses. Sa acs system analyst ang skills ko na ipapaasess e, though bachelors degree ko is financial accounting di ko sure kung aning ipapa assess ko for pta sa vetasses, dapat po ba system analyst din?.
