@Yukishih I think yung Deakin yung reason. Did you claim points for Australian study? Sa instructions kasi, nakasulat:

You have completed one or more degrees, diplomas or trade qualifications for award by an Australian educational institution as a result of a course or courses:
• that are registered courses;
• that were completed in a total of at least 16 calendar months;
• that were completed as a result of a total of at least 2 academic years study;
• for which all instruction was conducted in English; and
• that you undertook while in Australia as the holder of a visa authorising you to study.

If 2 sems ka lang, wala pa yung 16 months, right? And since University yan, baka di mo natapos yung course? Correct me if I am wrong.
Ilang points ka pag di mo i claim yung australian study?

Natapos ko ang course ko sa Deakin. Nasa Eoi ba yun clause re:16 mos? Di ko kasi talaga maalala. Without australian study 55 lang talaga ako. System generated yung points di ko alam pano ako naallocate ng 5 points.

Yun pong kay @bananapeel i think date of submission of visa yung kaya na grant later on pero ibang case din. What i think is at least she will give you an insight kasi dating na deny sya and then naipaglaban nya yung visa nya sa immi at bihira ang naririnig nating ganun na reverse at later na issue-han ng visa. Yaan mo hanapin mo yung link.

i think hindi mo naintindihan mabuti ang process ng EOI at ang points system..
the fact na nag yes ka dun sa question means you have completed atleast 2 yrs course sa AU..

at yun nga, may mga definition kung anu ang meaning ng bawat questions at requirements..

also, it is incorrect na hindi ma edit ang EOI, you can edit it as many times as you want,, hanggang hindi ka pa naiinvite..

yun ang sabi ko, before submitting your eoi, make sure na tama anng points based sa calculation nyo.. (kung alam mo na 60pts ka lang, at sa EOI eh nakita mo na 65pts ka, that means may mali kang claim)..

wala na po silang notice whn mag update. dati like every 2 months sila nag a-update pero since they started ung grouping scheme sa nominated occupation Sch1 or 2 e parang bihira na sila mag update kasi nga mejo mahirp din mag obtain ng offer of employment.

Hello everyone, may katanungan lang po ako re: EOI lodgement. Target ko po gawin ito by Feb/Mar 2015 due to budget matters. Kung sakali pong unavailable pa rin ang occupation ko by that time, hindi po ba iyon masasayang? For example, I will put in my EOI "any state" kasi nga po hindi ko alam saan sya una magiging available uli. Okay lang to proceed na ganoon? Or okay lang maghintay kung kailan sya magiging available and on that day itself, mag-lodge po ako ng EOI. Hindi naman po siguro ako masasaraduhan ng slot if same day ako makapag-lodge? Iniisip ko po kasi, kung hindi mag-open ang occupation ko at all sa 2015, itabi ko na lang ang ipon at balik Pinas na. Kaya ayoko pa sana mag-lodge kung unavailable pa sya sa states. Kaso hindi ko po alam kung ano epekto pag nag-lodge lang ako sa day na naging available sya. Hope anyone can shed some light on this concern. Thank you po

@emily_strange, EOI is free and you don't have an obligation to pay your fee upon lodgement. Also, your EOI can remain in the system for 2 years.
I created my EOI months before I found a state that would sponsor my application.
You have the responsibility of checking the status of your job availability via state sponsorship and lodging an application with the states.
In my case, I had selected all states but because I did not check, I did not notice that my job was already open in one state, which delayed my processing.

Subclass 190 po to diba? EOI is free of charge, if there are no states available, u can still submit EOI and select any state. Once the state becomes available you can apply for state nomination, then kung successful application mo with the state, you will automatically be invited to apply (ITA), after that, once naglodged ka ng visa application, dun ka pa lang macharge ng visa application fee. not upon submission of EOI.

1. Based on SOL - SC189 - mukhang di ka pasok currently (PR / all states) so dapat state nomination direction mo.

2. Based on CSOL - SC190 - pasok ka lang sa NT currently for that ANZSCO 223111. Additional requirement ng NT ang 7 all bands IELTS. Pasok ka sana sa WA kaso schedule 2, which means kailangan mo ng contract of employment.

So it means that you need to proceed with state nomination process first with NT if you want to start processing now. Visit NT website if you want to do that.

With regards to your question, usually nagsusubmit ng EOI almost the same time as state nom process, at wala syang bayad kung NT or SA, di ko alam sa ibang state. Ang actual na bayaran ay during actual visa application na which you can only proceed kung meron ka na invite.

Kung advisable magantay --- depende siguro... most of the time naman nagoopen up ulit yung mga closed ANZSCO especially July. Di ako familiar sa certification kung magiging need ba sya in the future or mawawala..

Personally, I would not risking the opportunity na meron sa ngayon. I would suggest to go for that remark (increase in your score) where possible and proceed with NT state nom; consider moving to other states after 2 years kung meron ka preference for other states.

Yes, wala pa pong bayad ang EOI stage. Ang iniisip ko kasi is para bang pila ang EOI? Na kapag hindi ako gumawa ngayon, hindi ako maprioritize sa invite. Plan ko pag tapos na ang SA ko, then pag nag-open up na sa ibang states, saka ako gagawa ng EOI.

I saw NT a few months ago kaso sa ibang forum, 489 visa ang inooffer nila. Mahirap daw makakuha ng 190, kaya di pa ko gumagalaw for SA

Concern ko kasi si hubs nag take ng 2-year course sa US. Eh di ba pag nag-stay sa isang country ng matagal hahanpan ng police clearance? Eh baka maging hassle pa iyon kaya iniisip ko mag IELTS na lang siya dito. Pero sige try ko na din pumunta kami sa elementary at high school niya sa Cavite kung makakakuha kami ng certificate.

@netzkeenet Ah kasi pag-nakita nag-aral siya abroad for more than 2 years, ibig sabihin nun, hahanapan din siya ng police clearance kasi nag-stay siya for more than 12 months. Tingin ko lang kasi magiging questionable at hassle makakuha ng police clearance sa US dahil may fingerprinting pang kailangan. Kaya nag resort na ako kumuha asawa ko ng IELTS or makakuha ng certificate. Eh sa mga nababasa ko dito eh yung requirement na iyon sabay sabay i uupload kasama ng iba pang requirements upong applying for visa. Tama ba?
