question naman guys, kakakuha lang namin nung japan PCC namin and ininform kami sa embassy na bawal daw iopen yun at mavovoid daw, dapat daw yung pagbibigyan lang yung magopen. ok lang ba na iopen yun ng di pa hinihingi ni CO para maupload na namin? salamat.

@bookworm nag renew po kami ng passport before mag lodge ng visa,bale august 8 nag renew kami ng passport,tapos nakuha namin nung october 17,medyo matagal po kasi dito sa singapore.tapos nag lodge kami visa 489 nung sept 9.

@bookworm bale upon lodgement po,yung old passport pa ang gamit namin.pero ngayon in progress na application namin,wala pa kaming CO din,pwede kaya e upload ko na din new passports namin together with the form 929?

Hi Red - hmmm...tricky... Kung ako (sigurista, lagarista hehehe) sa kalagayan mo :

1. I will not open it, just follow the instructions kumbaga
2. Scan ko yung letter na unopened at upload ko, especially in the area na may nakalagay do not open.
3. Tapos maybe an additional letter to say na iopen mo once you receive instructions from CO. This will inform CO na you have it with you and you just cant open.

Pero sa mga nabasa ko dito - http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/japan-police-certificate-t119914.0.html --- seems it is not really a big deal, especially kung sure ka na wala ka namang criminal convictions sa Japan. Maybe it is really okay and a lot of people already did this.

@RED May PCC din ako ng Japan and what I did was ask my CO first if Im allowed to open it as I was instructed not to open it too. After a week my CO replied and instructed me to open it myself and scan it for submission. I guess you can open it naman but I strongly suggest to ask for your CO's permission first, baka kasi iba iba ang trip ng CO. It may cause you a bit of delay, but its better to be safe. Godbless!

congrats sa mga naka-kuha na ng grants...still waiting for ours. just a few question lang po and hope to get some advice or opinions.

I made a mistake kasi nag-reply ako dun sa email na nag-ask ng mga docs na need ko i-submit then na-realize ko lang when I check ulit na meron palang proper email add kung saan mo dapat i-send so what I did is to send it again dun na sa proper email add and upload ung docs sa immi account.

ung sa wife ko bale nag-submit na lang ako ng letter coming from her secondary school (di nakapag college si mrs) then dun sa explanation ng required doc eh need ng 5 years na dapat nag-aral ng English, I supposed kasama na siguro ung elementary.

but the challenge is ung sa byenan ko (yep kasama namin siya) kasi 1966 pa naka-tapos ng highschool and naka-pag college naman kaso 2 years lang. Saradao na both ung school and I doubt kung meron pang record so what we decided is to avail na lang ung English Education Charge (EEC) as recommended by the CO (medyo may kamahalan but un na ung napag desisyunan namin kesa ma-stress pa ung byenan ko na mag take ng IELTS, baka maka-apekto pa sa health niya kakaisip pag di nakuha ung required score).

Gano ba katagal bago mag-reply ung CO by email o nagre-reply ba talaga pag meron kang enquiry?

Nag-ask kasi ako kung pano ko magbabayad and kung hindi tangapin ung letter sa high school ni mrs eh ung bayad ba sa EEC eh pwede ng for 2 person kasi nakalagay dun sa website ng au immi is "nil" for the 2nd applicant.

Naghintay ba kayo ng 7 working days bago kayo tumawag? un kasi naka-state sa email na it would normally take them 7 working days to reply by email.

Hi there @jeorems .. parang di naman yan showstopper at naaddress mo na pala yung dapat na iprovide. Wala akong experience communicating with CO pero I would suggest to follow the 7 working days. Naantay mo nga yung Vetassess yun pang 7 working days lang hehehe... ~O) kape kape muna

@kenshusei wow salamat sa advise. baka antayin nalang siguro namin sa CO, ang worry ko lang baka di magparamdam si CO hanggang di ko inuupload. tawagan ko nalang siguro after mga 1 to 2 weeks pa siguro.

@giar kumuha ako ng SG COC last 14th October, eto mga requirements:

1. VISA APPLICATION OR/INVOICE- Your proof na meron kang visa application. Di ko na sinama ang visa application summary kasi nalimutan ko iprint hehe. Pero isama mo narin!
2. VISA APPLICATION FORM.
3. Attachment Checklist.
4. Passport (original and photocopy).
5. COC Application form.
6. SGD 55.00 (Pay by NETS)

Mga 1 hour lang processing. Makukuha mo after 3 weeks.

@kenshusei nagparamdam na si CO asking for PCC so I asked my CO for approval to open the PCC by replying on the email plus the email they provided. In your case gano katagal bago nag ok si CO na buksan yung document?

@RED 1 week after nagrereply sakin. sa ibang inquiries ko pag lagpas 1 week, nagfofollow up ako by email lang then mga 1-2 days after ng follow up nagrereply na. Congrats sa CO. grant na yan soon

@rareking wow congratulations sa inyo!! sana mabigyan nadin kami.. hehe. hindi ko nararamdaman if my CO na ako eh. inupload ko narin yung mga possible na hingiin like for 80. tapos may naging classmate ako dito sa uni, 2 mos. 3 days bago nya nakuha yung PR nya kaya hoping talaga ako na anytime soon mabigyan nadin...

tapos nakikita ko pa sunod-sunod na kayong nabibigyan.

wow.. busing-busy ang thread na 'to.. more grants for us this coming week.
share ko lng experience ko sa CFO yesterday:
-arrived there at around 12:30pm
-sa information counter hiningan kami ng grant letter at yung passports namen.
-chineck ni officer at nagpaiwan ng valid ID (SSS ID ni misis ang binigay namen)
-binigyan kami ng grey colored ID na may malaking letter 'A' na nakaprint
-binigyan kami ng queue number
-nagfill up kami nung information sheet ng CFO (advisable if you download and complete this before going to CFO to save time) while waiting for our number to be flashed on the lcd screen in front of the counters
-15-20mins later, our number was called and proceeded to window2 to have our docs checked (completed CFO info sheet, passport size photo, passport, photocopy of passport and grant letter.. if you have kids included in the application also provide an extra passport photocopy of either mom or dad to each kid's docs as a requirement)
-after checking all required docs we proceeded to the cashier for payment (P400 per emigrant -bata man o matanda, may ngipin o wala)
note: your passports will not be returned to you at this point. it will only be returned right after the seminar.
-we proceeded to the 2nd floor - Canada room after hearing the announcement that this will be the room where all AU and NZ emigrants will have their PDOS.
-the seminar was from 2-4pm and consisted of videos and oral discussion from a very competent lecturer
-at exactly 4pm, the seminar ended and our passports already stamped with the golden cfo sticker were distributed
note: double check the spelling of your names and make sure the cfo sticker with the emigrant's name corresponds to the passport holder
-proceeded to robinsons malate and ate like a viking hahaha

note: please bring a sweater/jacket.. the orientation room will give you a taste of the aussie winter hahaha

Pwede bang lumipad sa Oz without going through the PDOS sa Pinas?

For example we are living abroad and decides to make an Initial Entry and fly directly to Oz from abroad.. do we need to show-up to the PDOS seminar later on kapag umuwi kami ng Pinas?

@wizardofOz if manggagaling kayo abroad papuntang Oz no need na po magpa PDOS.
same po sa case ko.. manggagaling po kami ng SG pagpunta namen sa Oz at hindi sa Pinas.
BUT, if in the future magbabakasyon kayo sa pinas hahanapan po kayo ng CFO sticker (binibigay pag nag-attend ng PDOS) pag-alis nyo papuntang Oz especially if yung ticket nyo is just 1 way (magtataka kc sala bakit 1 way lng.. d2 ka tatanungin kung ano docs/visa pinanghahawakan mo papunta doon).
ilang ulit po sinabi ng lecturer kahapon na kahit may grant letter kayo at meron kayong ticket.. hindi po talaga kayo papayagan umalis sa Pinas kung walang CFO sticker.

i opted to still get the CFO sticker kasi wala naman pong expiration yun at para puro pasyal nlng atupagin namen once we visit pinas in the near future.
