I have a question guys. What if I go for visa 190 instead of visa 189 after I pass PTE-A? What are the pros and cons that you can think of?

@CPAofOz pros- both visa allows you to stay indefinitely sa Oz.. Cons- may bond ang 190, you need to fulfill the two year residency requirements.

Hello po, i'm considering to nominate Accountant din. Although for the last 3.5 years, i'm in Internal Auditing (although I usually conduct financial audit). I only have 1.5 actual accounting experience. Would they consider kaya internal audit as a closely related occupation with accounting?

@CPAofOz, thanks a lot. try ko pa rin mag apply khit feeling ko 50-50 lng chance ko lalo na ngayon bumaba pa ceiling for accountant. Wala pa rin akong makitang PTE-A dito sa Dubai, parang wala pa yata dito, ituloy ko na lng siguro yun IELTS. Thanks again..:)

Sana maliwanagan ako sa mga tanong ko

Meron na akong positive assessment from ACS, naka pag IELTS na din ako, pero kulang pa din ng 5 points. Kaya naisip namin na I claim ang partner skills, para umabot ng at least 60. Nag pa assess na ang wife ko dati sa CPAAU para sa CPA program nila, ito ang assessment result

Your Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from University of XXX meets CPA Australia’s degree requirement.

Ang tanong ko po ay ganito, kailangan pa ba nya mag pa assess ng qualification uli? Kailangan pa ba nya mag take ng IELTS at maka kuha ng at least 7 sa lahat ng band?

Additionally no further invitations will be issued for the following occupations under the Skilled – Independent (Subclass 189) and Skilled – Regional Sponsored (Subclass 489) until the next financial year:

Accountants (ANZSCO 2211)
ICT Business and Systems Analyst (ANZSCO 2611)
Software and Applications Programmer (ANZSCO 2613)

@fgs they will still invite for the said occupations. This year's invitations for accountants was cut to less than half of the previous year's.

Hi @akocpa. May i know what docs you submitted? Ive seen in some posts na may syllabus and umaabot sa 100 pages yung sinusubmit? is that really necessary? Kasi ang alam ko TOR lang and course description yung pnprovide ng school namin. so im puzzled bakit umaabot ng hundred pages ung snsubmit ng iba.. thanks!

Thank you. Oo nagulat ako. Pero nireencode ko lang yung syllabus and ginawa kong reader friendly yun. 1st page is table ng summary. Second page is statutory declaration and next na yung syllabus. Hundred pages. Super labo kasi ng binigay ng school namin kaya natakot akong magsubmit nalang ng basta basta.

You had another post pla.. yung syllabus po ba usually narerequest sa school for all subjects ng minsanan? Or kelangan tlga irequest isa isa sa mga naging prof? Parang wla kcng syllabus n availble irequest sa college nmin. Pwede po ba pashare din po nung nsubmit nio for sample? Para lng po may idea kung pano ung sylbus. Thanks!

I've been invited last July 6. I don't think all the 2525 slots for Accountants are already occupied, kasi they will limit the invites per round para maspread throughout the programme year, just like before. Hindi lang siguro updated yung site

In the Occupation Ceiling tab though, it is stated:

Due to high levels of demand, the below three occupation groups will be subject to pro rata arrangements to ensure availability of invitations across the programme year:

ICT Business and System Analysts
Software and Applications Programmers
Accountants.

Pwede na po ba gamitin to as qualification assessment for migration? Yung pina assess kasi dati para sa CPA Australia program. Or kailangan i complete muna core knowledge area?
