@mgfg sa ICAA din ako nagpa-assess, okay naman. I submitted two syllabus/subjects for Finance, namely Money, Credit & Banking, saka Business Finance. Wala ka na ba iba subjects related to Finance? Visit mo uli TOR mo

Tapos pala, nung nagsubmit ako, I grouped together the subjects that fall into one core knowledge para mas madali i-assess ni ICAA. Sigurista lang hahaha

@orange11 Salamat! Di ko inexpect na iqquestion yung finance. Mostly kasi ng nababasa ko sa acctg theory ang natatanong. May subject kami na 'Strategic Management' medyo broad, pero may discussion din about finance sa course description na isinubmit ko. Ayun, isinama ko din sa appeal. Hopefully maging favorable naman.

I included my Maths of Investment subject for the Finance core area. If you have that Maths subject, you can include that as well.

Hi im into odd jobs in a year na. Nkaipon n ng konti so im planning to go back to school. Anyone of you who took a course in TAFE? Balak ko eto muna itake ko pra lang mgka certificate ako in just 6 months Diploma of Accounting or Bookeeping. Ung CPAA program will take me 3 yrs to finish so later ko n lang sya itake, gusto ko n kasi mkalipat sa accounting job asap. Any insight? Thanks

@kate26 meron naman sila syllabus, dun ka sa college office natin pumunta. Parang nagki-keep talaga sila kase normal na lang yata yung may nanghihingi ng syllabus. May babayaran ka lang pero di naman ganun kalaki saka wait ka ng konti (same day nakuha ko yung akin). Tama, asikasuhin mo na yang mga academic credentials kase once na andito ka na sa Australia mahihirapan ka na.
Akala ko sa Melbourne ka, pwede sana tayo magkita. Hehhehe.
Basta naman di ka mapili sa trabaho may mahahanap ka dito.
Naka 457 lang ako. Naghihintay pa ko skills assessment results.

@anneoz08 yes sa 5th floor ka pumunta sa college office natin. yes same day ko nakuha. bakasyon ako nun pumunta eh kaya naasikaso agad ako. pero matagal na yun mga 7 years ago hehehe

@orange11 yes PR n ako pgdating ko dito. Hubby started also as 457 then after 2 yrs ngapply ng PR ksama ako as secondary applicant, awa ng Diyos naaapprove nmn. Ang hirap lang ng ganung entry s pghanap ng accounting related job kya 1yr n ako s odd job gusto ko ng lumipat ng office work:( Balak ko mg tafe muna ako diploma of accounting 6mos. para lang mbilis akong mkakuha ng certification then afterwards paassess ako sa CPAA wala pa akong syllabus at it takes 3yrs to finish it. Buti ka pa passed na mkakatulong yan for sure sa application mo ng PR. Pano ka pla nkakuha ng 457? Accounting related ang work mo now?

@orange11 hi did you re-write your syllabus? Sa amin kasi naka run down na siya mga subjects mo tapos with course description. How did you do manage to group it. Puede po ba manghingi ng sample sa ginawa mo. Thanks in advance...

Kayo po ba nag prepare ng syllabus na ni submit nyo for assessment? Nag request kasi kami sa school hindi masyado detail yung mga description. Kaya ayun hindi ni consider ang business and finance na subjects.

@hopeful_persistent hindi wala ako ginawa sa mga syllabus. Yung copy na nakuha ko sa college department namin eh complete na with detailed course description. Bale 240 pages yata lahat yun. Nung ni send ko sya kay ICAA, bale 9 emails yata kase ang laki ng mga file size. 1 email per core knowledge, so naka group together na mga syllabus.

@cpa_oct2011 pwede ba akong humingi ng copy ng course description mo. Wala na kasing copy ang school ko kasi 2002 pa ako nag graduate. :-( I am trying to do a stat dec and create my syllabus and just want an idea of how it looks like. Kahit hindi na sa lahat ng subject.

@orange11 Hi! Ok lang ba makahingi ng copy ng course description na galing sa school mo? Nag inquire ako sa school ko syllabus ang hiningi ko yung iba hindi na makita kase ang tagal ko na graduate so just in case na sa wala sila makita course description na lang ipapagawa ko. Thanks!

Nung ni send ko sya kay ICAA, bale 9 emails yata kase ang laki ng mga file size. 1 email per core knowledge, so naka group together na mga syllabus.

Hi po! All pages po with seal & signature from ur registrar or ung last page po ng syllabus. Mine kasi is only the last page. Was it accepted by cpaa? Thanks!

@sticky_note ganun po ba. What happen kasi sa case ko is nag pa assess ako sa cpaa then they said that I need to take acctg theory tapos nag communicate ako sa migration advisory they advised me to get a detailed description from my university that includes objective of the subject, course content and learning outcomes. Kasi ang na submit ko initially na binigy ng school ko were just summary of each subject. Mga 30 pages lng yung akin.
